British gas not an urgent call

Getting quite a lot of this number calling me , I leave answer machine on but they do not speak, the calls are
at 9pm in the evening and I have had enough of them!!!

Have been pestered by this number for weeks and today (13/8/10) I've had eight calls all of which were silent.  It either rings once leaving a 'missed call' - it is my mobile they're ringing - and when I do answer there is nobody there.

From 8pm onwards I was seeing to a funeral call (being a Clergyman)!  If this is British Gas phishing for business, SHAME ON YOU! I don't owe anyone anything. I have a modest income and few savings but no debt.

this number calling frequently - on my mobile: surely it is not acceptable to treat ''customers'' in this fashion. I think there are misconceptions about the word ''customer'' - ?. Certainly if we are actually paying for their calls - definately do not pick up

bloody annoying and so damn rude,  they keep on calling me trying to get me to switch my electricity over to them as i'm with them for gas.  They can't take no for an answer I may just leave them altogether at this rate.  And this evening to cap it all off whichever dimwit called me try to remember to hang up the phone before you grumble about us not answering the phone - my answerphone picked your little moan up how professional!  Idiots!

Slightly strange offer of discount from British Gas, only if we were in receipt of a government benefit.

I'm not even with B G and never have been, so why are they ringing me? Called tonight at 19.20 and I just let it ring because I dont answer numbers I dont recognise. It rang for ages though .....

If you ring 0800 072 8632 - British Gas Complaints. Tell the Complaints Advisor that you keep receiving calls from this number. They will change you British Gas status to "Opt Out" and they will stop ring you.

No message just, just dead silence for 5 minutes after repeated requests for a response.

Just had this, quite angry.   I may be forced to move my business elsewhere.

Got a call from 08009806166 but to voice or message, just silence.  Hung up but my phone-line was disabled for nearly 5 minutes.  I could not call out and when I tried to call my phone with my mobile it was engaged although the handset was down. I used 1471 and called the number to which an automated message explained that it was a call from British Gas Services but they were too busy to speak and that becuase it was not an emergency they would call back later (!!??)  
If I had had an emergency I would not have been able to call out.  This is appalling. How are people allowed to get away with this????

Please stop these calls

Well had a call today,  I answered and no-one spoke, I shouted HELLLLLOOOOW!!  nothing, so popped them in front of the speakers and played them some Guns n Roses!!  So far they have been on for  1 hour and 16mins...  I've shouted "I HAVE A GAS LEAK" and played explosion noises, but British Gas haven't responded!!... gutted!

well 1hr 34mins..  battery getting low!

I've kept them online for 1hr 36mins so far, hopefully they will delete my number when they get the phone bill :) lol

1hr 40  battery very low now...

1hr 48m, Battery low warnings!  less than 10% :( am I going to make 2hrs... ??

battery failed at 2hrs 6mins.... Maybe they will black list my number? QUALITY :)
