Called and started waffling about my credit card debt. I assked them which one, how much etc. The more she spoke the more I asked about my card until she finally said "Who is your card with". I haven't got one. I really enjoyed getting her ratty. And when she rang off with a Thanks for nothing", it made my day.

I was called by a guy called Leon Welsh who claimed to be welsh, who spoke to me about changes within the law on credit cards and explained I did not have a law abiding contract with my card company.  Passed me on to another guy called Nathan Pearse who  guided me through the justice.gov website, gave me the impression I could wipe my card clean at a cost of £495 plus 10% of my debt plus vat.  Said he would ring back the next day.  Too early to say anymore.

Did you ever recieve a cheque from them?

Read a few messages on here about this number.  They just phoned me, but hung up before I could get there. I hope they phone back!!  

Anyone contacts you and wants details of your personal finances you should be telling them to take a long run and jump off a short pier.

If you've got cards/loans that possibly could be unenforceable then their are plenty of forum's on the internet which can and would help you through the process....and it certainly doesn't cost the amount of cash companies like these charge.  

Do a little research and find a good forum, where people who've done it themselves will help you step by step.

i would advise everybody out there,that have been scammed by these shamefull call center workers and who ever own this company to contact watchdog or dont get done get dome,and bring these human being to book sorry they are not human at all ripping vunerable people off,they should all be aressted for their dispicable con, both male and female a like,they are really lowest of the lowest,i do not have any hope of getting my money back,i was scammed to the tune of £3100,please beware of these HORRIBLE NASTY PEOPLE,AND REPORT THEM TO ALL CONCERNED ECT MINISTRY OF JUSTICE,CONSUMER DIRECT TRADING STANARDS AND YOUR CARD COMPANY,GOOD LUCK BECAUSE I HAVE HAD NONE.

hi chris,i did not sign any forms as they sent them out two days after they took £3100 out of my card company account within one hour of speaking to them,they use at least three call center workers to confuse you,and i was so stupid for giving my card details to them,as i did not have a statement,i trust that you have not gave any of yours,because you will back the wrong horse and be scammed,by these horrible people, BE WARNED READ ALL THE COMPLAINTAINTS ABOUT THEM ON THEIR WEBSITE

i just recieved a call from this company, on about the consumer credit act. it was a young welsh lady on the phone, think her name was laura, she asked a few questions, apoogised and said she couldn't help me.

The reason they contact people is to clear off your debt with credit cards etc and to claim back mis sold ppi, they charge no fee for this and work on a no win fee basis, they take 25% because they are acting on your behalf which is fair enough as some companies can take up to 40% and charge around £300 just to look into this, also they are a regulated company by the ministry of justice (governing body) .. They are not a private company which are the marketing calls that will try and scam you.

People under estimate this company. They had very polite staff who kept me well informed whilst dealing with my mis sold ppi (payment protection insurance) claim and got me £11,500! They do not cold call people, the only way they will have your details is if you filled in a survey which i had done in the past. Charged no fee and had 25% of my claim which is fair enough after all the hard work they put into it. I had gone to the bank who told me i was only entitled to £300! Turns out all they do is offer you a settlement fee making you believe it's all you're entitled to, once you cash the cheque you can no longer claim! They did alot for me and my family and i thank them dearly. They are a company regulated by the ministry of justice (governing body) so have no doubt in this company. They are truly and genuinely trying to help you.

Even if they are regulated by the Ministry of Justice, they are still a private company. The Ministry of Justice is not responsible for getting our money back, these companies simply apply for a Licence from them.Just like other private companies are regulated by the FSO.  They are still out to make a profit from something which people can do themselves for free.  Even one of the companies which advertises on TV admits that all they save for us is time. They still phone and text continually, even when told we are not interested.

The Ministry of justice will not help,you may try consumer direct to see if they may be able to help.the answer to your question is yes,exactly the same patter.

Complete rubbish they just rang me.  I ignored call.  I have never filled out a survey and am sick of cold callers.  If people want help they will contact them.

I told them to "f" off as soon as they spoke and they stopped calling.

Well, the phone only rang three times and I didn't get to it in time to answer, so I Googled and found the info here.

So glad I didn't pick up now. Any company that cold calls is going to get an ear bashing from me anyway and if they want personal details I can get very personal.

I would never give out any financial information to a company I've not heard of, and there's no way I will pay them to do any sort of debt consolidation, PPI or charges recovery, or even to walk the dog - if they expect to get paid for doing things that I can do myself for nothing.

I've had a lot of invaluable help from the Consumer Action Group, Google them and you'll find you can do your own claims quite easily, without paying a big chunk of it out to these scoundrels.

A bit like them saying they'll happily collect my pension for me, but want 25% of it for going. Vultures!
