08009878240 called me again and i'm getting some what sick of it,i am reporting them to TPS since our number is ex directory.How dare they think calls like there's are wanted or even needed by us.
complain to the TPS telephone preference agancy.the more people that act the sooner we stop these calls.where are they getting the phone numbers from?

These pratts keep calling and asking for my Son, I keep telling them he doesn't live here any more and they say they will take the number off their calling list, so why do they keep calling, they are a pain in the [***].

got a call this morning but they rang off without speaking. 1471 revealed their number as 08009878240

i have several calls a week from these guys something to do with ppi and another from consumumer lifestyles ...asked them where they are getting my number from as registered  as rarely give out my home telephone number and they said ""you gave us it "   tell them not to ring back and withing half hr they call back

Pete I have reported them to TPS they are annoying like you I said don't ring me and I am TPS registered to no avail.
I have also emailed the company telling them this, hopefully it will shut them up!!

You say that within minutes they had maxed your cards? Did they not explain the reason for this? Did they not get you to write down the breakdown of the fees on paper? Didnt a manager QC speak to you after to confirm the fees were going on your card and what the service was? Did they ask you if you wanted to go ahead with the payment?
You neglect to mention these things and make the company look like they didnt have YOUR permission to put the fee on the card. Which we both know is wrong.

was called today by this number just minutes ago , the girl caller said it was a public awareness call. as soon as she mentioned credit card details i hung up.

These lot called this morning, very welsh accented piece of work put the phone down on me when i asked her who she was asking to speak to my brain damaged partner (he doesn't know what day of the week it is.)  We are with the TPS too.  Ttoally refused to give any information at all.

They just called asking for my husband,i asked who they are and he said consumer lifestyles,i said we are not interested and put the phone down.
Then checked the number and they have called manytimes before its something do do with credit cards etc.
Which we havent got.

You can send an e-mail to info@consortiumreclaim.co.uk and ask them to stop phoning, whether it will do any good I'll have to wait and see.

Listened to all their Sales blah, seems legit but a quick search and guess what I found here, so thanks folks i will be able to decline when they phone me next.

dear sir or madam,was scammed by this company on21-3-12 and they took £3100 within 1hr as i stupidly gave them my details,when i realised it was too late i rang the police and trading standards and also sent a letter to the ministry of justice,i do not think i have any hope on retreiving the money to credit my card,i did not get any sypmathy from them

How do you know it was a scam?

i was taking in by these guys and you are 100% right they have got £3100 out of me at a very vunerable time,but it was too late to stop them.i have contacted trading stards,the ministry of justice,all commsumer direct,a local solicitor also my card company.i have now complained to bbc watchdog in the hope they they bring it the attention of the whole nation,do not have much hope in hell of getting money back

what pages are you looking at probably you work for these scamers

stay well clear from these nicy nicy charming bunch of scammers,YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED,or you will suffer like me and many other vunerable members of the public.

i too was charmed out of £3100 by these bunch of scammers,i would advise all people on this forum that have been taken for a ride,to report them to trading standards,ministry of justice consumer direct,watchdog and cowboy traders also the police as it is illigal to take money up front and this so called cold calling.i have been advised by them,i will have a cheque for the above amount in 14 days,but would not hold my breadth,as most people have not had any money returned by this company. PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM,hope this might help others.

had a call off this number today, as everybody has mentioned, seem to be based in wales, as they all had welsh accents, very easy manner, trying to be my buddy, however when I said no to giving over details on the phone, got a bit pushy, told them not to ring anymore, lets see what happens

hi mate,good on you,very pleased did not do,what i did stupidly giving details over the phone when i was at my most vunerable,scammed me out of £3100 within 1hr of talking to the three scammers,it was like pass the parcel,as i have wrote before nicy nicy charming bunch,probably not get any money returned and i am a pensioner,very sad for myself and all the other people that have wrote on here,you sure did youself a favour good luck.
