Hi All!
Here's my latest about Skylite/Satlite/Sampora. At the same time I was complaining to everyone I could think of, I rang the Financial Ombudsman. Now the Financial Ombudsman will only investigate companies that are authorised and regulated by the FSA. Skylite and Satlite were not registered, but Sampora is: the regulating company for Sampora is Porta Verde Financial Services. So, the Financial Ombudsman complained on my behalf to Porte Verde, who wrote to me saying they would investigate. Are you still with me?

I received a letter today from Porte Verde:

"Further to our letter dated 29 September I have now reviewed this matter further. I can confirm that SatLite Ltd is not an FSA regulared company and that Porta Verde Financial Services has no regulatory responsibility for SatLite Ltd.

I understand that SatLite Ltd shares a call centre with Sampora Company Ltd and it appears that your call may have been misdirected in error."

1. Why is Sampora telling people it has taken over SatLite if that is not the case?
2. If my call was misdirected "in error", would it not have been a simple matter to redirect the call?
3. Why did the person who answered "Sampora" on the phone act as though he knew my so-called contract and tell me he couldn't discuss it as it was i the hands of CCM?

I have referred this back to Consumer Direct who are - finally - passing my details over to my local Trading Standards.

Strange that the Family Hossenbux is involved in a Director-ly way with both companies too!

Consumer Direct have certainly been dragging their feet as far as your case goes haven't they? My local TS called weeks ago to say they were passing it to Croydon office - thankfully they're already on the case as you know!

Apologies to everyone else, I didn't receive the email from Sky with the Legal Teams' email address for you all to complain. Please could you go to the Customer complaints page at Sky.com, click the link to TV complaints and email from that point. I'd advise putting something aong the lines of:

FAO Legal Team, re SkyLite/SatLite/Sampora Action.

in the subject box.

How on earth can Sampora say that when they told Penman & Sommerlad of the Daily Mirror that they were doing the year end accounts for Satlite/  Have they not heard the phrase "when you are in a hole, stop digging".  Perhaps you should send a copy of the letter to P&S.

Just been on the Mirror site and realised that, so far,there's only one comment on the original story. They're not going to take us seriously if there are only one or two of us prepared to comment. Hi All, sorry I've been absent for a couple of days -I got my knitting in a tangle at the WI and then spent ages looking for a job, in case I turn in to a loser. Really don't know what I've been doing with myself all these years just sitting on my bum screwing the State....work - what's that???

Nan and Lizzie - we must meet up sometime and knit some brains for those that obviously don't have any! That's as low as I'm going to sink to their level now. As before, they don't deserve our attention..

Good news, my MPs taking this seriously and will be contacting your respective MPs, the OFT, and Trading Standards shortly. gave him all the info we have on these maggots,(photocopies etc...) and whos involved on the investigation side for us. Hes a good bloke and actually dose what he says hes going to do, so , yet another step in the right direction for us, the noose is begining to tighten bit by bit by bit..........
Keep going gang and stay strong, will keep ya posted.

Lizzie I think you are just trying to get onto page 21. I run a couple of restaurants and deal with people like these all the time. The most that is ever achieved is closing down one of their crummy scams. One company 'Gobal leasing' a micro credit card leasing scam in America. has been under investigation since 2001. the difference to here, is that the victims, started a class action. Charging the crooks with racketering. Do we have a law like that ? Anyway the sum being sued for is estimated at 180 million dollars. Plus the possibility of imprisonment for the directors, and even some of their disreputable employees. Their UK subsiduary is called 'Forrester'. That was how I got involved. The case will be decided soon. The victims are already cracking the champagne. I have a bottle on ice for when 'Skylite' come down. Hopefully it won't be 10 years. So martin make the most of your freedom, with a bit of luck, you could be having Christmas dinner at her majesty's pleasure.

Don't know who you are PAXmas, but you just made my day!! If Skylite/Satlite do come unstuck before Christmas, I think there'll be a few of us coming to dine at one, or both, of your reataurants!

Dear Old Useless Fellows! Get a life and do something productive and interesting in your life. Make it worthwhile rather than clogging up your nations internet band width. Not nice.

Your guys need to understand that Porta Verde, Sampora and SatLite Ltd are owned by the same board of  directors. Everything is very organised and our criminal acts are sugar coated. Just stop wasting your time.

Annoyingly, most of you are not even discussing the point anymore. Its not very interesting to read through this blog now. Get a life or get a cover from SatLite Ltd. Otherwise just [***]!
