Just a quick one to let you know that my MP has been in touch - investigations ongoing. Kent and Croydon Trading Standards say the same thing.

That's good! Our MP's seem to be on the ball on this one. Wonder if Joe's heard anything from his. I've written back to Porta Verde, pointing out that Sampora admitted to the Daily Mirror to taking over Satlite contracts for renewal purposes, and named Khalid Hossenbux as a Director. I even sent a copy of the Mirror article. I did say that if I didn't hear back from them, I would be referring the matter back to the Financial Ombudsman. I haven't heard anything yet, so if I haven't heard by the end of next week I'll make a formal complaint.

Had a great weekend thanks - its just Monday morning that spoils it!!

Nowt back from my MP just yet however, SKY, (the real one that is) have been in touch and are currently investigating the activeties of our friends and have been for some time, they would like any info that is relevent to this lot forwarded to their legal dept so get e-mailing them with all the details.
That noose just got a little bit tighter again eh?

You know what Joe? You don't appear on here often, but boy, when you do, you certainly do it big style!! Sky said they were passing the email I sent them to their compliance department - that was about 3 weeks ago, but I haven't heard anything back yet. Perhaps I'll email again, or call them, if I can get past their switchboard system! Cheers Joe!

I've not heard anything further from Sky, but they did say a couple of weeks ago that they were in touch with TS so I daresay we just have to wait now while the investigation goes on.

Had to laugh -did anyone see the piece on the national news the other day about Homeserve having their knuckles rapped? - accused of 'misselling their policies' ha ha. Of course they knew nothing about it, it was their naughty Customer Service Reps that were guilty, not them!!

Have to say I'm not happy about that seeing most of the abusive posts are directed at me. I realise your hands are tied Who Calls Me Team - I shall be showing the posts to the police to see what, if any, action they can take against the person responsible for the posts.

If the whocallsme post is genuine, then I am puzzled.  I have just read their Terms of Service and one item is that anyone using this site promises not to post anything which is threatening, abusive or vulgar.
As the posts which were removed were all three then the poster/s are breaking the Terms of Service and should not have a leg to stand on. We shall see as I assume LizzieM has contacted the Moderator.

I would've thought they'd use their avatar if it was them. If what that post claimed was true then MSE should really restore the TAPA thread which they removed and I can't see them doing that!

I really do think that it's just that childish , desperate, abusive poster again, trying a different tack.

By way of a wee bit of news, my local TS office called today. They have received a letter from my MP and want to interview me about SatLite. It seems like our representatives are concerned about this company's activities.....

I feel sure if those posts were going to reappear they would've done so by now.

Actually, I've had second thoughts....if I had to go to a court of law and they compared, I may end up having to pay!!!

Three calls so far today. Apparently it seems it's a debt management company in Leicester who use an asian call centre who- guess what?- are rude, insistent and aggressive and don't know anything about/refuse to give out details of the company they want you to do business with....charming.

Apparently they call you a gazillion times a day including in the early hours and try to sleep-deprive you in to submission. Good Luck with that!

So Lovely Ladies and Gents - be prepared, another joy may this way come!
