Received this call yesterday telling me my sky repair was expiring soon. Which it isn't. Asked me would I give my card details to them to take the first payment of an extended warranty. I refused.
Called Sky immediately but not on the number they told me was Sky Customer Services.
Sky said they are nothing to do with them and not to give card details to them as Sky will always write to you first telling you when the repair plan is going to expire and whether you would like to keep it ongoing.

In August my husband got a call that our Sky insurance was due to expire, which it had the month before but he had forgotten and signed up with these on the pretext that we could cancel within 14 days after we got the paperwork - none received as yet.  They took £24 on 16 August and this was to be a quarterly payment and they now have my husband's debit card details.  Going to the bank to cancel my husband's card and see if they can stop any further payments going out.  These people have no scruples and soemthign should be done about getting them stopped - where's Watchdog when you need it!!!

Got conned by these parasites last week. They are still recruiting call centre staff but I have contacted Trading Standards and told them to look at all the emails from people conned by them. Would other people please contact them too so that we can get them stopped.

I recd a call from Sat Lite Ensured claiming to be the agent which insures Sky dish and equipment
and I arranged through them to have warrantry on equipment extended for a payment on 60 pounds
They said that they would send confirmation letter and a cooling down period which allowed me to cancel option and returned cash paid
Up to now have recd nothing so I entered name of company on net and found this  site stating that it is a scam

i work for sky tv and this company have nothing to do with sky, there have been many calls regarding this company cold calling people and asking for payment details, ive spoke to many elderly people who have been peer presured into giving card details, it appauling behaviour, the sky brand would have no dealings with a company of this standard

Despite what you may have read about this company, it’s NOT A SCAM...really, no joke

They do extended warranties for sky customers.
They are NOT part of Sky nor should claim to be from Sky.
There are MANY independent companies that do extended warranties for Sky customers.
Being an independent company doesn’t make them a scam.  

Domestic & General (Sky protect) is the only company endorsed by Sky BUT it’s not THE only company that provides extended warranties.

The confusion arises when people assume they are being called from Sky because the sales pitch starts with something along the lines of ...we are calling to inform you that the warranty on your satellite equipment has expired and needs to be renewed.

“RENEWED” Once you hear this word you assume that you had cover with the same company hence why they are calling to renew...WRONG!

They are NOT renewing anything you had with them before (unless of course you were a customer with them) – Check your paperwork/bank statement(s) BEFORE giving out your card details.

If you get a call from this company, you are probably joining them as a NEW customer, which means you are NOT renewing anything but taking out a new warranty with them.

If you know that you are covered and your cover has not expired, DONT give out your card details or let anyone persuade you that you are not covered.  Just hang up, simples!

This company called me on Friday evening.....can't believe I fell for this...actually thought it was SKY.

They have £90.00 pending on my bank account...I have since cancelled my card.....the bank have reported the company to the fraud squad.  I have called this number...and guess what...no reply yet!

I will keep phoning....they said they would send me an email...after giving me so many days to cancel.

No email or paper work sent yet!

I got scammed as well £210 how do i get this money back?

they called monday 4th oct offering a cheaper sky deal, then took £210 from my account.googled the company and founfd the are a scam

Yes, I have fell for it, I have stopped my card with the bank so they wont get anymore out of me.
It only came to light this morning, so I got on to the bank straight away.

My elderly mum got a 'cold' call from these thieves on Friday 24 Sept - they were quick to take the £210 out of her account before lunch time.  When I got home from work I phoned told them she was cancelling and the guy said they would refund (in fairness they did tell her she had a 'cooling off period') I was concerned at the time & had a bad feeling about them so got my mum to cancel her switch card. The bank have been very good & said they will chase also for a refund if I don't manage to get the money back. I phoned again last night & got a story that the money should have been paid back & they couldn't understand why it hadn- told them I was referring the matter to the Police and Trading Standards - was told they would phone me tonight (funnily enough they didn't so I phoned them) got another guy who hung up on me.

thanks for supplying address i to have been scammed for £210 being pensioners this is alot for me and my husband to loose do you know of anyone who had their money back

I was contacted by Sat Lite Ensured and told they represented Sky and that my warranty had expired. I was a fool and fell for this, and they deducted £210 from my account even though I phoned them back within half an hour to cancel. As a pensioner, I can ill afford to lose this. Is any help available?

Chucks my old manager at skylite/satelite ensured. I used to work for these robbing [removed:lang] back in January. And yes they are scamming people. How do I know this because khris the manager told me him self. I left due to the fact I was the only White boy on the calling floor and felt intimidated at work. Word of advise people call the police and report these thieving [removed:lang] , contact your bank close your account and get a new card. They don't care if you cancel they will still take the money. I am so glad I left that company and started working for a charity it's the least I could do for scamming people for a mnth I feel so ashamed and I am sorry....

i have also been robbed by these scumbags have rang many times but you guessed it no reply have cancelled card and now my bank is tying to retrieve my money back

I have had these on the phone before but just put the phone down but somehow they just phoned the wife with the normal crap they say, they even phoned her back and when she told them what I was reading on here they couldn't get away quick enough :)

Beware of this company - do not give any of your financial details to them

I found that my account has been debited by this company. How they got my details I do not know. They are a scam. Watch out.

Someone from a Sky call centre tried to get me to sign up tonight at 1950hrs! Not interested and hung up, thought it was a con. This website confirms it.

Hi have just been scammed by this company was told on the phone my sat insurance was up for renewable did not think any more about they said they were part of sky.so when i check my sky
insurance i find it do,s not run out until 2011.rang the number they gave me no reply.
So i rang this number 08442490900 which i got from one of these posts and i got a reply
am now waiting for a refund.
