This Call is from a company called (Sat Lite Ensured, Skylite Ensured And now Known as Satelite Insured) they are a scam company and just take your money. Do not give them any bank or credit card details.

According to records, this number is not registered to sky, nor is a registered company that handles sky insurance, any calls from this number in regards to sky insurance are to be treated with the utmost caution. To reiterate this number is not apart of sky nor is the company associated with sky, only Domestic and general are officially endorsed by sky for insurance.

Actually that is absolute rubbish. The company shows records of trading for 5 years and despite some unhappy experiences with telesales operators the company appears legitimate with good reviews for the breakdown service. Thought you should know.

Collected money for sky hd box  insurance .No paper work is sent so far.

Got a message on my answerphone. Almost inaudible. As best I could make out it said "message from warranty, for assistance call 0844 2490 999". I've not rang. I'm also TPS registered, but we all know what a joke that is anyway.

Got a call which I thought dodgy from this bunch who said they were from Sky. Has someone spoken to Sky about this?

i fell for it. They are good. Was called 6 days ago and answered all questions i asked them with plausable replies. I really thought they were from SKY as they already seemed to know about appliances I had. Paid with credit card and haven't had promised e mail of confirmation or any agreement which was supposed to be sent within 7 days. I now want their address to take this further.

I was cold called from this company saying they were part os  Sky and doing special deals on  insurance of sky equipment I foolishly paid for a year £60 I have since cancelled my card and wrote to the company asking for a refund or  I will take them to small claims court company Sat Lite  Ensure

As far as im aware,selling extended warranties on any equipment wether it  be sky equipment.tv,washing machine etc is not unlawful.It is a kind of upselling on a service that came to the owner of such equipments by default from the manufacturer.The mode and method of payment may vary from company to company depending upon the facilities they have available to receive payments.The fact that anyone was called is not the issue here rather,the issue should bother on wither or not,they provided the service they agreed to deliver.

they called us. we signed up. On condition we got written details. we have received non. They have gone ahead and taken payment without giving us chance to read and agree the conditions.
 We want our money back please.

This is such a bad scam call, definitely targets the vulnerable. It is important top note that they keep changing their name - look up Skylite Ensured and see the comments there. My relatives have been caught out but I am dealing with it and rest assured I will get it sorted. These guys cannot be allowed to get away with it!!

They mix up the company names and addresses to confuse. I have not found one good comment about them, in fact it is all really really bad. They are known to SKY, Consumer Direct and Trading tandards etc. I am taking them all the way.

could you please back this assertion up?  My husband got scammed, I phoned up two hours later to cancel.  I see they have taken money from my account so I called them up and after being on hold for 15 minutes was told there was no record of a cancellation but they would get the cancellation dept to ring me straight back.  

I'm still waiting.

Had a call from this number indicating they were from Sky and asking for £60 on the spot payment for new maintenance contract otherwise any problems with equipment will cost at least £118 as a call out.  Asked for card info, refused to give it and said I would call them back and asked for their number as their number was 'withheld'.  Rang Sky who confirmed it was nothing to do with them and it was a scam.  The number had the gall to ring me back today, told them what to do with themselves.  Sky told me they were trying to shut them down.

These are nothing but scammers, they rang my parents who being old and knowing no better, gave them their bank details. Luckily they rang me afterwards and I contacted the bank on their behalf and changed account numbers. They only got away with six pounds but multiply that by how many they catch and it's a good thing. I'm going to the listed address for the director today,I'll let you know what happens.

I've also been taken in by this same company, they took £150.00 out of my account 2 days ago which is a lot more than they quoted. I feel completely stupid and can definately not afford this, Please tell me what my next step is, this needs to be stopped.

Yea, i got scammed as well, it all sounded very genuine on the phone and i gave all my bank details, please be aware of these guys. I have now reported it to my bank and cancelled my card details. I am not normally drawn in like this but got caught this time, never again!! I would like to meet the lowlife that scammed me and have a one to one with him!! BEWARE!  It is about time this type of thing was stopped.

You will have seen my previous posts. I have a monitor set up at Companies House so that I be alerted whenever anything changes re their company etc. Got alerted yesterday that they have formally changed their registered address to the one I documented at Windsor House above. Think they might have swapped director and secretary names too though I didn't ask for that detailed report.
I can only suggest that you phone them AND ESPECIALLY WRITE TO CANCEL. Speak also to Consumer Direct - they know all about them. Cheers.

These people took advantage of my elderly mother.  The chap who rang
made her feel it was urgent this insurance be taken out immediately, the Sky package is in my husband's name.  We were away at the time, due back the next day. He told her he would not take the money from her account until my husband had received and agreed the paperwork - but took it any way.  Not just 1 year - told her it would be 3 years because that was cheaper - so took £150.  I rang the company and was told the refund would take 10 days.  That was two weeks ago.  I rang today and was told it had been refunded to her account on 21st September - evidently it takes up to three days to reach her account.  She will check again tomorrow - keep you posted.

I was told I had to put my complaint in writing - the guy on reception refused to discuss it with me - and said I would receive a reply in 5 days.  Needless to say I have not received any explanation for this disgraceful matter.  The address he gave me to write to was the Windsor House address.  In my phone call today I was told the letter would be 'chased up'.

My poor Mum is so upset!!
