Just had a call from this mob, tried to get me to subscribe to a magazine with offer of £20 fuel voucher. Didn't give any details plus asked to be taken off their mailing lists.
Sounded like a welsh ascent, 1471 revealed number to be 0844 5670460, guys name was Daniel

They have scammed me out of £79.99 as they don't answer telephone for you to cancel.

I had a phone call from this number twice, and when I answered the woman said because I entered a survey a won a £20 petrol voucher and their 'new' magazine. Thinking that I had actually entered a few competitions online lately I thought hmm this might be real as I don't usually get cold callers.

She told me i'd have to pay £1 for postage which I said i wouldn't feel comfortable paying but like other people on here she said they only need the long number and with the they can't take more than '£1' out and it'd be on my bank statement. Stupid me decided she might be legit and gave my details, it was only after I looked at this site and saw people being scammed.

I immediately phoned the customer service number which actually was so easy to get through and told the woman I didn't want to make a payment after finding out it was a scam, she just said I'd have to wait till tomorrow as the working day wasn't over, deciding not to wait that long I phoned my bank company who were so helpful, they cancelled my card straight away but said if the £1 had gone through it would be a problem I was put through to another department which checked if it had gone through and he said luckily i'd phoned in time and nothing was put through so I should not be charged at all, feeling so stupid at the fact I even gave the card details but luckily I read these messages soon enough, that'll teach me next time a nice woman speaks trying to lure me in!

Hope nobody else gets caught out by this scam! and hopefully if you do you act soon enough so they don't get anything!

I received the call and a welsh girl spoke on the phone was very polite on  the phone and told me that they would send £20 cash back vouchers but I had to pay £1 so I thought wow I'd give this a go .. She explained that the vouchers had to e redeemed through sapphire and that if I didn't cancel the £79.99 would go out auto ... Well I'm a seeing is believing kind of girl I sent in my fuel receipt along with the voucher ..4 days later a check for £20 arrived ... After I used the £20 voucher I called the number and cancelled with in 30 seconds no further money taken other than the £1... So in essence I cant thank this place enough .. If ur stupid enough to not listen to what these poor kids say on the phone then your a mug .. They explained very clearly and kept asking do I understand everything ...

Sent vouchers in 10 days later x2 £10 vouchers arrived too ..

I fell for this stupid scam too!
So conniving with their 'cancer charity' etc so i did the survey and qualifyed for the 'fuel vouchers' terrible disgusting people.

I gave the £1 and received the magazine (which seemed convincing) googled sapphire to find it didn't exist!

I cancelled immediately at cancel@sapphiremembers.com

And cancelled my bank card. Remember if you block them, they still have you details so best to block card receive new one to stop any chance of them getting into your money.

Just had a call from the 08445670460 number and they offered me petrol vouchers if I subscribed for their magazine. Luckily whilst I was talking to the guy on the phone I had my laptop open and I punched in the words "Sahpire magazine" and this website came up - thank god people write to warn others of these scams. If I hadn't checked I would have fallen for it....Please, please people - do your homework before committing to anything especially when they offer you  vouchers etc.

Hi I used to work for these guys and I was convinced in the training that this was all legit .. That people got there vouchers and they donated to cancer charities and u had them all for £1 then I rang an existing customer by accident and she went mad at me becuAse we had taken £79,99 and she had tried to cancell but the number she wasn't getting through to anyone so I said to my supervisor about this call and she just said "get rid of her number" that was it for me!!! U work there for 20 days on a temp contract and if ur face don't fit they sack you .,, I couldn't do it I have to much of a concouse( excuse spelling )?do do it especially to pensioners who was so nice to me on the phone I went home and cried every night .. I worked there for 15 days and got called in a disaplinary becuAse I questioned the vouchers and becuAse I didn't clap when some one had a sale ... It's horrible to see .. These guys are massive scammers!!! .. PLEASE don't give any details off ur card!!! ....the number we were given is 08435070707 but I can't honestly see that being in service much longer as there moving buildings in the next 2 weeks .. Please please please don't give them nothing !!!!!!

16 digit card number and exp date.....this can be done through a card machine with customer not present. Do not entertain them, Although the bird had a sexy voice, so i chatted her up for a bit, then hung up.lolllll

Hi angela, Yes I did same thing and had money taken out and no vouchers. I am thinking of reporting them to trading standards and if they have lots of complaints we may get some where. Aren't some people who reply to these questions extremely rude? No need really!

please cancel my alleged membership imposed upon me unsuspecting and unadvised by a strange caller yesterday (March 2nd)  it isn,t good enough to offer me a £20 voucher and a magazine and then later tell me you want ££79.99 in fees!

Someone called my sister Christmas and asked her to donate £1 for cancer charity the guy she spoke to was being really nice to her she had no idea it was a scam to get her card details, they took £79.99 in feb 2014  this year  and setup a direct debit with out her consent  and took £1 for the so called charity .she feels cheated and let down they used the death of her husband to make her vulnerable in to parting with her card details this company needs stopping asp. She’s received nothing off them through the post no confermation  .the people in this company must be desperate to get money out of  vulnerable people .how these  sleep at night thinking they just used a Dead woman’s  husband to get her to part with her card details  be wilders me. I hope they go to hell as far as I am concerned i am useing the force of the law against these  and contacting bbc Xray i am going to make this public if i can and put them on the tv  about the way they got  money out of my sister . grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr you made me so angry

I keep getting a call from 08445670460, A woman who keeps asking for Mr F Holder and when I say, can I help she won1 speak to me, his wife. Apart from the fact that no one is supposed to call this number she doesn`t give me the chance to tell her that my husband is 88 years old and I am his carer,
It is not fair to be target by people who we don`t want to talk to. So please cross my husbands name off your list. If I get a call from you again I will contact `The Daily Mail`.

We were called saying we had won a fuel voucher and then they tried to get Credit Card details for a £1 fee that would ensure the voucher was delivered !!!! Suspicious !!!

Just had a call from a polite girl from Sapphire Magazine, telling me that they wanted to reward me, with a £20 petrol or diesel voucher for a survey I completed last week.  When I asked what survey, she said it was a survey asking me about colours and lifestyle and that my answers had been really useful.  I did complete an online survey last week, but not with the type of questions she "reminded" me of.
She offered me a free trial of Sapphire Magazine, for £1, explaining that it was a lifestyle magazine and that if I paid £79.99 for a full subscription, it would help me to save money off a wide range of things. And of course I could keep  the £20 fuel voucher that I could use anywhere.  She almost had me by then.  
She offered to give me the telephone no in case I wanted to cancel before the end of the trial period.  I asked if it was a free phone number and she confirmed it was an 0843 no.  
As I got up to search for a pen, I  noticed my tablet was on, so I searched for Sapphire Magazine instead - predictive search brought up Sapphire Magazine Scam.  When I told the girl I was looking the magazine up on google,  because I rewally didn't remember taking the survey, she said "there'll be a lot of bad comments on that site, obviously from people that haven't read the magazine".  I told her it was a scam and hung up.  Close call.

Was just called by Murray from this company and I drew his attention to this thread and he tried to explain it away as there are bad reviews for McDonalds as well as good etc. Politely declined as a result of the bad reviews to the company on this thread.

Had phone call from this number 08445670460 saying I had filled in a form on a Saturday, for a petrol voucher for £20 and its in the post and also a £100 voucher for Asda. I have had a lot of these calls wonder how they do this. I asked the lady who spoke to me how she got my name and number she said in a polite voice from the survey I filled in. Told her I would not ever fill these in, and I don't have a car and that I don't shop at Asda, but I thanked her and look forward to receiving these free gifts, as having terminal cancer its nice to receive some help she hung up. Wonder if I get the free gifts

Lets hope & pray you yourself get scammed 1day. This seems to happen when your at your most vunarable.
