Report a phone call from 08450304400 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- patanne| 2 repliesHad numerous calls from 08450304400 asking to take part in an energy survey if not interested to press 9 and no more calls will be received - who are they kidding - the phone calls continued through out the day - as if I have nothing better to do than to answer them
Why are these people allowed to annoy me.......................- Call type: Survey
- Benny replies to patanneSame here. Eventually gave me a non-0845 number to ring to opt-out 0161 830 7305
- L G SMITHTIP: Don't press any numbers, let the computer repeat the options until it eventually hangs up, It repeated the options twice when I was called, I didn't press any keys and they gave up. Once they hang up you can use your phone as usual.

- Angela| 1 replyThese are Kersdale Market Research, they call you EVERY 3 mins, they are a complete nuisance. These need banning from making any kind of market research.
These take the biscuit for 'Telepest'
If you dail the number back you can choose '9' to opt out, but why should we have to pay for a call to opt out of market research we didnt ask for!- Caller: Kersdale Market Research
- Call type: Survey
- Bryan WaltersAutomated message - a complete pain - how do we find out where they are based. Presumably they work for someone so there's an office somewhere!
- Caller: Kersdale market Research
- KenstuThis number had called my Internet phone which is never used, and I never give that number out to anyone. Makes you wonder where they find our private information.
- MikeEnergy survey company making automated calls to numbers, using pre-recorded messages, without the specific consent of the person being called. Never mind the TPS (which we are on), this practice was outlawed some time ago. It's not "opt out of our nuisance robot calls", it's an opt *in* system.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Sarah replies to AngelaIs it really Kersdale Market Research? No trace of any marketeers with this name on google
- ChristopherIt didn't ring for long enough for me to answer it, but this is the second time it has called.
- RichardThey're now calling themselves Kirsdale (spelling?) Market Research.
- Caller: Kirsdale Market Research

- papercutpete replies to Ofcom Regulations ReaderThanks for all the info folks .....complaint filed!
- AlexI too got a call from this number. It is a waste of time writing to them or the TPS - the fact is that these companies should not be calling people registered with the TPS in the first place. After a lot of complaining de-registering etc, they will probably stop - but what a lot of trouble we go to in order to achieve that, and the cost to them is nothing. My suggestion is to contact their clients and to say that as a result of the calls from Curved Air (whom they have employed), we will specifically not be using their services. Their website has case studies for Homebuy and Peel Holdings as well as a Charity called Five Stars who are sponsored and supported by companies such as Manchester City, Bentley, Hard Rock Cafe, Mercedes-Benz, etc. etc. They are also on Bt Trade Space, and BT should know better. I am sure an internet search will throw up more companies too.
My guess is that a stream of emails to all these companies will lead them to ask Curved Air WTF is going on and may cause them to pull their contracts. At the very least, Curved Air will not be pleased. This I think is the only way to get this sorted, i.e. if us going through the TPS isn't going to cost them money, then this might and should make them and their clients think again about how they do business.- Caller: Curved Air

- Asterix| 1 replyWhy do you idiots have to specify a Scottish voice? No relevance there. For me the call was about a M&S survey. I didn't answer, the machine got it two days in a row. I'll be contancting TPS about it.
- Caller: M&S Marketing

- Obelix replies to AsterixBecause Curved Air / Hot House (Hot Air?) who make these calls on behalf of their clients (mugs) have Manchester accents which don't sound as honest as Scottish accents. I speak as a Scotsman :-)
- DebzCaller (possibly a recording) was doing a survey .... I hung up.
- KevinI'vve had numerous calls from these people. After reading the comments from others on this website, not just for this number but for an increasing list of other 'telemarketing' numbers which seem to be getting through recently,I've ordered a Call-Blocker device pre-programmed with 200 known nuisance phone numbers ( you also add your own to the list if they get through beyond those; yes it does allow your friends through ok.) Being ex-directory and listed on the TPS it greatly annoys me how they still manage to get through, more and more and more of them. "Electronic counter-measures" are the only way forward it seems ! It might have cost me £50 but the drop in my stress levels will be incalculable.
How I wish there was a way of getting back at them; with junk mail youcan swop all the contenets of the envelopes and send 'em all back if there's a SAE included, but not so with this ever increasing problem.- Caller: Energy Survey

- Kevin replies to GibbyJust looked at curved air's website. It's so full of ridiculous and abstruse jargon you reallly haven't a clue what they're on about. This, to me, spells disreputable. I wouldn't deal with this bunch ever. Maybe they should be 'hot air' !!
- Giggles| 2 repliesget these calls all the time, different pests, they never get through cos I,ve got a cordless phone with answering machine, and caller ID. I leave the answering ssytem on all the time, it's programmed with all my friends and family so I instantly Know who's calling. If it's in the directory I pick up, if it's not I let system answer it, then I look the number up on this site. The phone has a block list as well as a directory so I add them to the block list and every time they ring the system throws them off without ringing the phone (still costs them the price of the call). The phone has an incomming calls list so I know who has rang even though I don't hear it.
Great piece of equipment. - sharonI got home from work to an answerphone message regarding a survey on what electrical items i had bought then asking me to press 9 , ive heard of phone scams before that when you press 9 it racks up a big phone bill , these phone calls sound very dodgy to me and i will not be answering them im also with tcp although after previous comments i dont know why or what use they are !!!
- Caller: hot house
- WhizzyDHad an automated message left on answerphone from this number; exactly as mentioned by others here, a Scottish accent that continues to ask questions even when no answer is given. Definitely didn't want to press 9 "to opt out" because that will only confirm the number is valid! Sent in complaint to TPS straight away.
