- MashI got a call from these guys and at the end just screamed at them and told them to f**k off. Felt good about it no end!
- BeccaIf it wasnt spam they'd leave a voicemail but they never do. How do we stop it cos im sick of gettin a million missed calls off em
- JoanneBit obvious people. NOT Barclays. NOT any other bank. SCAM. "You have been called by YOUR BANK" ??? Oh get a grip you dafts naive gullibles!!!
Do not phone back. Do not answer. SIMPLE.
I had calls about 6 months ago from this number. I gave them what for and toyed with them until they gave up.
It started again today and I will once again do the same if need be.
Some of you are morons who can't see a scam when it kicks you in the face.
Some of you also probably work for these [***]. "It realy is barclays, honest... ". Yeah yeah.
I can't believe people are still contemplating whether this is real or not. Have you not read all the messages on here that go back for nearly a year!!
HAVE A WORD!! - LukeI recieved a call from this number the other day and I didnt answer. Then I typed the number into google and found this page and read that it is some scam number and I shouldnt answer when they call again. Anyway they called the next day, so out of curiosity, I answered. Well and behold, it was Barclays Bank Debt Management warning to tell me that my account is well over the overdraft limit. We had a chat and organised an easy payback system to get myself into my overdraft limit again without the risk of the debt collectors knocking on my door!!
So, if you get a call from this number, I suggest you answer it and sort out your debt problems, otherwise you may end up in a bit of trouble!
Hope this helps anyone. good luck.- Caller: Barclays Bank Debt Management
- InfoThis is Barclays bank. I owe them some money and have spoken to them. They call almost everyday but I don't answer anymore because I can't get hold of the money just yet.
If you think you maybe in financial trouble and can't sort it straight away then don't answer as they will demand the money ASAP. - Abbythis number has been ringing me for the last week or so - if they really wanted to speak to me then surely they would leave a message on my answerphone. i work for Barclays and this is not one of their numbers and if there was a problem with my account i.e overdrawn/fraud, I would know about it or they would find some other way of contacting me. they called my friends house also asking for me, dont know how they got her house number, when she told them they had the wrong number they just hung up - can we report this number other then through the police?
- ASoory guys, I left a message on this website yesterday, was extremely annoyed about the volume of calls, and the fact that my own Bank Manager said it was Littlewoods Barclay Card. I contacted a friend in the Fraud department and he got all the details. Result: I had an inative account from years ago that was overdrawn by a couple of hundred pounds!!
Not the end of the world but hey... A letter would of been nice! - AIn addition to my last message I checked through my accounts from two years ago and there it was, a direct debit to a charity for £10 per month had been coming out the inactive account!!
- Andy LivingstoneA. - Don't Barclays send statements these days?
- JoThey have started calling me today, i dont like anyone who calls me and asks for my information. If they know who i am then they should have the information!!!
It's scary to not know who your been contacted by, report it!!! I do use barclays so just a little freaked by this. - RThey have been calling me 3 times a day for the past week, answered phone today for first time, ladyt claimed she was from barclays, got very aggressive when I refused to give out my details. She then hung up. I rang Barclays and they comfirmed it was their debt collections agency.

- ZoeLots of people keep saying they have an overdraft or a loan with barclays but I don't even have an account with Barclays, so I dont know why they are calling me! It must just be a scam...especially as I don't believe that barclays would have an answer machine that when you call just says "your bank tried to call you, we will contact you in 2 days" I don't think so somehow. I wish they would stop calling me
- chefSo will someone plse tell me who the hell these people are cause they have rung my house now 10 times today and am gettingfed up, should i speak to them or not plse plse advise
- kellouThis is certainly Barclays, I get these calls on the few occasions when i have been over my overdraft limit. They are pretty good about coming to a repayment plan on this number, just make sure you stick to it.
- Caller: BArclays
- ralphthey keep calling me saying i have a loan with them and i dont. one word come to mind [***]
- MaximusI keep getting calls from this number despite the fact this is a contract on a phone I have just taken out. No one knows the number yet and I hardly know it myself......how do these people get it!!!?
- MarkI received my first call from these at 08.01 this morning. I also am with Barclays - hope they call me when Im having a bad day so I can tell them to F*C* Off! lol
- KarenThey phoned me yesterday and today asking for my son's ex-girlfriend!!? Told them she wasn't here any more and they said they would remove number. Yesterday they admitted to being Barclays Bank.Weird or what??
- Corinai just bloody googled too...to see what is this number all about...how can i stop it? does everyone know? im not the first from this family, im the third that they call and enoying us x(
- LebrokDon't know what they are calling me for as I refuse to call them back but they ring on either 08453004275, 08701525677 or Private Number. They sometimes leave a message saying "this is (so and so) from NCO Europe this is a very important message and please call us on 08453004275 quoting reference number ------". Firstly 0845 numbers and 0870 numbers are premium rate lines and some of the money goes back to them!! Don't really know who they are, but am just going to continue to ignore their calls. Is this the right course of action?
