Has rung twice today and when I answer it clicks off.

Giggling girl asking if you or any family members work in any of her list of professions before continuing with a survey for Transport for London. Answered with Advertising, so she didn't continue.

This number belongs to Populous, they do market research and are pollsters for newspapers.

This number keeps ringing, I answer, they do not talk but I can here an office environment in the background. Third call today. Im ex directory with no calls offered and on the TPS.. what a joke. Feel like Im being harassed !
What a nuisance I wish I could block the number.

Called today and a man said he was Darren from Populous. Said he was conducting market research. I told him I was just watching the end of the Open golf on the television and he said sorry and hung up.

I wish I knew how they got my number??

Called by Populous today who said they were conducting market research and had selected my number at random. I agrred to take the survey and was asked a series of questions about politics and the three main parties. At the end I was asked for my age group and name.

The caller seemed professional and courteous. Market research is a useful marketing tool, if we have the time and are sure the caller is legitimate I feel it's nice to help out a little.

I received a call from this number on Friday. I demanded to know where they got my mobile number from and was informed it was the Student Loans Company. I am writing to SLC today to try and establish if this is correct.

They called me yesterday.Told them i had work and to ring back in the morning.

I have to admit they are persistant and have been ringing all day.I just think if i ignore the call they will eventually give up and go away.If not i will do what i always do and answer with a harsh swear word and nothing else ansd just hang up.That usually does the trick :) .

They just rang me and hung up when it went to answer phone. Am unlisted and have only given my number to friends and family. Being unlisted means nothing any more!

Caller put phone down as soon as I answered it.  I am registered with TPS so am dissappointed that I am still receiving nuisance calls.

Polite Georgie said he was conducting market research and in order to get a genuine cross section of society could he please speak to the youngest male under 18 in the household.  GREAT way for paedophiles to find little boys!

I am disabled and getting to the phone, when I'm on my own, is both painful and difficult.

I am just about to report them as it would appear, from previous comments, that this is not an isolated incident.

Got a call from these people five minutes ago wanting to know about shopping in supermarkets in a certain geographical location, as my daughter does this for me they were out of luck!
