just had a look at that .. and i have put a message on there to invite anyone stumbling across it to come to this forum...I had never heard of ARRSE before lol

imirie, if you look back at the threads on here there are some very clever people who have found out a lot about the directors...

Lets keep going!!!! I think the old saying "every dog has its day" might just be true in this case. Anyone stumbling on here please feel free to email me..

This thread has been very useful, Just had a call from Owenson Law with the same scam - luckily I saw this just after the phone call. I called them back and told them I was not interested in their scam and that I did not want to receive anything in the post - " oh and by the way, I am recording this conversation for my legal protection". The guy hung up.
I am waiting to see if they send the details anyway - if they do it will be recorded delivery so I will just refuse to accept it.
The "main" guy that I spoke to with the recorded phone contract was Micheal, he seems to be a very busy man!!!
Please keep this thread going, it may stop this happening to others.

If I do hear from them again I'll let you know.

How funny that today we had our letter of owenson law solicitors about us apparently agreeing to pay -£464 if not payed within 7 days we will be taken to court! How funny!! Well when we rang the solicitors they wasn't able to pass on owenson laws number! Maybe because they are the same scaming company! 118 also didn't have the number and passed us onto a different company with the same name! We new it was a scam but didn't realize they had got so many other business'!
Well I doubt they will be taking us to court anyway and we love a good fight so let's see who comes out on top, I'm pretty sure it won't be 'owenson law'

My husband was almost scammed by these horrible people until we found this site before xmas. We have ignored all communication from them since. The premises they claimed to have in Nottingham was just a postal box. Will never get 1p from us. They are illiterate (Hi David) and uneducated. Caused a few sleepless nights initially but they really have no power. Forget all about them. We've heard nothing for months.

Well done Dawn... If only everyone ignored these evil people...I was in the same position a few months ago and was so terrified that if I didn't pay the initial £495 or whatever it was, then the costs would only escalate, and I would be facing a bill of over £1000.
Thank god for my solicitor, he sent a brilliant letter and that shut them up ..

My offer still stands, if anyone wants a copy of the letter just email me.

Oh and I think Brittania Law are dead and buried thanks to forums like this one, but there is always another one hiding in the shadows...

Hi I have also been ripped off by this bogus company what action are you taking to re coup your money I have filed it to fraud line and going to report to the local police where I have a number of names to give them I also have an address of a employee

which employee's address do you have?

This company has been trying to get money off me for the same scam- I have not paid them and will certainly not be giving them a penny!! They need to be stopped I get endless calls and threatening letters so the letter from your solicitor would be a great help!! You would think they would get bored but obviously not!!

I have recently stumbled on the "Who Called Me" log and was rather shocked what I have read regarding "Britannia Law", but was even more concerned when I realised this was a company I have also had many a problem with under their new name "Proctor Law Limited",

However, they have recently vacated there premises In Nottingham and moved on (once again) to new rented premises, which I will pass on to you (you are welcome to pass on to whoever and however you feel necessary to) :

THERE NEW ADDRESS : Carrington House, 47 Carrington Street, Nottingham (it is a purple building, and I believe they are renting above Carrington Solicitors), probably to scare people off!

Also they are trading as : Proctor Law Limited, Barker & Harvey Limited, Maclarren West Limited and finally LGA Telecommunications Limited.

I am disgusted in these individuals behaviour and hope we can finally expose these scam artists for what they really are!

Hi Val, did you notice the company number and VAT number is the same 123456789  on Harvey Barker site, how odd!!!

The wix site is simply a gateway to other information, including the Harvey Barker "site".     The registration of wix is hidden by a proxy set-up.

PROCTOR LAW are scammers also.

They rang me and told me that they would reduce my rates then charge me the fee, I thought great. Not the case. They sent me a bill and when I said I aint paying the bill the guy on the phone threatned me with £5000 fine, £595 fee and CCJ's against the business guaranteed! I then told him to do 1 and dare not threaten me.

Totally unprofessional and this site is amazing. Im rarely taken for a ride so feel a little stupid but at the same time angry. They will never get a penny of me
