Who is calling me from this number?

i just had a call from this  number an no1 spoke

Answered yesterday, someone from 02? aparently, ive been getting calls from 02 asking if i wanted insurance on my new contract phone for a week now, was warned by the guy at carphone warehouse, he just said hang up.

Just got a brand new contract with o2 and the moment I put the sim in and the phone registered on the network, I got a call from this number!

I'll bet a pound to a penny it's o2 flogging insurance.

Insurance, possibly scam that is not actually by 02,

best bet is to block number, it is what i have done... everyday i still get 3 missed calls (they get cut off without me knowing :P)

How would I block the number? I've had several calls from these today.

got my phone on monday 12th Nov and have had about 10 calls from this number, havent answered any because i know its to sell me something!!
they also left automated messages on my voicemail

I got a new contract from o2 and started getting calls from this number 08458630287. i thought it was some debt collection agency or something coz they are suspicious and never left voice mail.

but it could be o2. dont know!

I just started an 02 contract 2 and i just got a call 2 my new mobile number dont know what it is does my head in wish i knew who it was

just got one and it hung up on answer.

Totally agree, had about 20 calls since started on 02 two weeks ago - including 3 in one day.  Never leave a message so must be flogging something!  Might answer one tomorrow and see what the crack is

Just missed a call from this number and checked on here to see who it was. I noticed that most people here are on new to O2 contracts. Guess what? I started a new contract with O2 this week.

Just got an 02 contract phone, must be them.

Looks like everyone is having the same problem. Lets just hope it's not the government that's lost a CD ROM with all our numbers on haha!

It must be from O2 calling for this insurance. I got my contract a week ago, and they keep calling me the whole week for this insurance, although I told them I am not really interested. I probably should tell them that they have become really annoying and ask them never to call me back, because if you try to be polite they will keep calling you forever.
PS and they also use "private number" calling, so just blocking perhaps won't work.

I've been getting missed calls from that number too. And surprise surprise, I started my new O2 contract last week. Been getting calls every single day but not managed to answer yet. Getting annoying finding all these missed calls!!
