Definitely 02.

They asked me if I had time to answer a couple of questions regarding future promotions. They proceded to ask if I like Sport, Music, Film, Exhibitions, Family Attractions. After answering for each of them I was told I can expect emails if they have any promotions in these catagories.

Last month when I did my 'O2 Treat' I was asked these same questions but this month I hung up before.... so that why I think they phoned.

So, as far as I know, this was totally harmless but also completely pointless.

I started my 18 month contract a year ago and got a call today

I've been with 02 for almost 3 years now. I received 2 calls and 1 today however i have not picked up any of them. 1 of the calls i received yesterday was at 8pm, surely if this was 02 they wouldn't call that late?

I have been receving 2 calls a day from this number for the past 3 days now...I'm not answering the phone because I never answer unknown numbers but it is really starting to piss me off!

It is a scam, they charge you a fortune to call back

I'm on O2 contact for many years and i just got a call today. I missed it. I check this number and got this website. Someone suggest Telephone Preference Service (TPS), but i already register with them ages ago!

received call from this number but i didn't answer, didn't leave a message...i've just cancelled my o2 contract...how can i block this number?

I have 18 month contract and it's not up for renewal till the summer but I keep getting missed calls from this number - they dont always leave voicemail but sometimes its just silent. only answered it once and nobody spoke! If it's o2 its VERY annoying, wish they'd stop!

same with me jus got a new o2 contract on the 4th keep gettin this number ringin me so annoyin if it is someone sellin somethin i cant answer cause im too polite to just say no lol last time they left a voicemail but nothin was said who is it???

I've  been with o2 for a bout 4 years and just this week started getting calls from this number, which I kept missing. I just answered it and it was apparently o2 checking their records were correct and asked me to confirm the first line of my address and my postcode. I immedietely hung up and  blocked the number, there's no way this is really o2 if they wanted to know they would at least tell you your address first and ask you to confirm, not just ask you to give them your address...

I've been getting loads of missed calls from this number too, however my o2 contract is not new, I've had it for 4 years.  My current handset I've had for 6 months, so I dunno why they're ringing me, but I never answer!

Just had another call from the number, and actually got conacted, the guy said he was from o2, but he wanted all my details!!!!! never gave him any, and asked him to send me details via email...we will see...

Hi just answered the phone to this number and a guy asked me to confirm the first line of my address, at which point i questioned and he was correctly able to tell me that the digits in my postcode added up to a particular number. However i declined and he said he wanted to ask me a few questions regarding o2 future promotions. strange??

I rang back and it just says "Thanks for calling O2, sorry we missed you, we'll call again later"

I've been on O2 for years now, gonna ring them up and see what's going on.

This number rang me today and yesterday. My contract with 02 is due to run out so maybe they're trying to get me to renew it?!

Same story here, just got the second call from them today. That makes three in the past two days, hope thy don't make a habit of it! I've not answered any of their call though, so if anyone is lucky enough to know whats really going on with this number, please let us all know... strange hmmm

I have been getting calls from this number, rang 202 about it.  Apparently it is O2 and when O2 call you they request your full name, and the first line of your address.  I complained about the cagey nature of the caller and the really nice man from O2 said he would report it.
202 calls are free from O2 mobiles, if we don't like getting the calls we just need to ring and complain!

Been getting calls from this number now for about a week! twice a day. bin ignorin it, but its startin to get annoyin! Iv ad my contract for ova a year now, so its not a new contract eitha, duno whu it is?

I've just another call of this number - thats about the 20th in a week!! I haven't answered any of them. I've rung it back too - and although it says its O2 i don't think it sounds anything like em!! I rang O2 and they told ME that its not them!! Why are they telling different people different things? They don't know what they are on about!!
