- Franki work for sky lite and still do,..... they are guideline lines will follow, and mandatory statement we read to every customer that sign up for the cover, am a leaving proof that this guidelines are taking serioulsy, because i made a sale which i forgot to clearly state the company's name at the beginning(SKYLITE ENSURED),and my commision was sieze cos that's a serious offence, and the customer was recalled by my manager to re- explained every thing, and read the mandatory statement, all calls are recorded, and for the person who says he has never heard of a breakdown cover for skytv, then what the do domestic and general sign up sky customers to( its simply sky repair plan which in lame man terms means breakdown cover) no point trying to convince you guys if the company is legit or not, cos it will just be a waste of time, .. Yes skylite is a small company growing and fully registered wis FSA, and everything is done by the book, its better to do your research first than go with the crowd and simply open your mouth to say disgusting things about skylite that are not true .... and for those saying the number is not ringing , that's simply a fat lie ... 08707777375 or 08449671999 ...... i dial dat number mostly everyday to get a bit of laugh out of the automated options, all just for fun, but the number definitely goes through, and agents do answer the phone .... instead of just running your mouth, just pick up your telephone and ring it right now...... hopefully that will shut you up, and end ur doubts

- peterIts not a scam, they have given me the service, when my sky break down.
- chrisThis company persuaded my 86 year old father to take out cover even though he was already covered by Sky's authorised insurance. I found out about this and tried to call there technical assistance line to see if they really are legitimate. I found that on a Saturday afternoon they do not answer any calls and do not tell you how long you must wait. I waited for a while and then realised it is a scam as they also make money on the calls to get an engineer to come out.

- terryas far as im aware, there is nothing illegal or out of order to extend a person's warranty on any appliance be it on sky equipments, washing machine,or anything else.I would advice that instead of all these ill comments flying back and forth, the respective authorities should confirm for themselves and make a balanced and not a biased conclusion for themselves. If the company records calls, has a compliance and quality assurance team in place, offer a cooling off period, refunds fully when customer demands, sends letter of confirmation to prove that customers have signed up to a maintenance contract for a given period of time, give customers the customer services telephone numbers, and have the permission to use any recognised gateway such as the one from Barclays or Visa,Paypal etc, then i sincerely think that they, like any other company have a right to operate business as well.Let claims and allegations tally with proof otherwise,it becomes jungle justice.

- SukiMy 89 year old Father was contacted in March 2010 by Skylite Ensured and he automatically presumed he was talking to Sky about the extended warranty they were calling about. As he had already been thinking about taking out an extended warranty with Sky, at £60.00 for the year thought it was reasonably good value and agreed to pay the full amount by visa direct debit, which they immediately deducted. We only found out we had been 'duped' by an alert e-mail from Sky 10 days after the call. We are also a member of the TPS Service so, they broke the law by ringing us in the first place. I have e-mailed Sky regarding this matter and also contacted Consumer Direct, who have informed me to cancel the agreement in writing and request a full refund, which my Father should be legally entitled to, under the 'cooling off' period. I also actually managed to get through to the Company and spoke to the Supervisor within Customer Services, who assured me that we would get a refund within 21 working days, but I somehow doubt this. After reading all the other complaints about this Company, how do they keep getting away with what they are doing. By preying on the elderly in particular, who are more vulnerable and prone to be more trusting, I fear that they will keep getting away with it, unless the authorities are prepared to do something about it.

- VinnyTo-day had a call from a foreign sounding gent supposidly calling me to renew by Sky TV insurance.
Now I did not want to give my card details over the phone to someone I did not know. The guy was really objectionable and it really got my back up. No way was I giving card details to a complete stranger.Beware. He kept saying he was from Sky and it would be insured through Skylite Ensure. I got more and more angry and put the phone down. I then called Sky and a nice lady said that they had complaints regarding a company like this. This guy could have been anywhere in the world as he was not a good English speaker.- Caller: Sklite Ensure

- K. RonaldMy mum who is 80 got a letter from this firm asking then to "Renew"her sky cover.I do all her correspondance. Now I was not very happy as I had paided to have sky put in for her. She was very confused and said a foreign sounding man had told her she had to re-new her insurance cover. They happened to phone while I was with her. Basically the man sounded as though he said he was from Sky. But he obviously did not know what equipment we had. It was as though he was leading my mum who is 80 and tad confused through some kind of script to find out what equipment she has and then her credit card details. I made her put the phone down. Then I looked this up. Thanks guys. I suspect I have just saved the £60 they were asking for.

- Lockie| 1 replyI subscribed to a warranty policy with Skylite last November, after a phone call which purported to be from Sky offering me a year's warranty for £80 and spelling out the benefits of the policy. My Sky box failed the other night, so I called this number. It was dead. I called the other number on Skylite's letterhead (08707777376), and was told by a female voice to call 08449671222. It was dead. At that point, I looked up Skylite on Google and found various websites which made it clear that I had been conned. The documentation had looked authentic enough, but this is clearly a case of deliberate and criminal deception.

- JJThis is clearly a scam. The phoned to say my Sky warranty is up. I've never even had sky.
I'm on TPS so they shouldn't be calling me in the first place. From looking at their website, there is absolutely no mention of being registered with the FSA, which is mandatory if they wish to sell insurance products such as warranties. What a bunch of jokers.
On no account give any information to these people, least of all your card details.- Caller: Sky Lite

SKY LITE are a bad company preying on the old and not aware people.
SKY them selves should be trying to protect their name and reputation.
