My wife had same call today. Only difference was that they also claimed to work for Department of Credit and gave an ID no (AG 1509). Asolute tosh!!!!

Same call...same crap - guy called 'Mark Benson'.  Scarily had all of my details, and got very aggressive when I refused to share bank info.  Something definitely needs to be done about these people!

got a call from these cowboys before,very persistant! asking for all the usual bank stuff,they alarmingly knew quite a few of my details allready,
after a bit of searching there is a cms office  in port talbot,not sure if its legit tho or if these thieves are using it as a cover,ive just been in touch with my bank and had my details changed,better safe than sorry.

PLEASE BE AWARE !! was originally called by the fraudsters on the 14/1/09 (please read my original entry). Just been called back as they could not take £49.99 from my card. Told them i had tried there web site which did not exist and not gonna pay any money. He told me to check the web address as i must have entered it wrong. So i checked again for www.cmsreclaims.co.uk and amazeingly there is now a web site set up (not there on 14 Jan) when i originally looked. Still think this is a scam. Man is gonna call me back again later today. Will tell him to GO AWAY!! You do the same.

An Asian sounding man calling himself Simon Dicosta just cold-called me. He HAD ALL of my details already: bank account sort code and number, debit card number, including the expiry date and ***CVV*** :-(

Having the card cancelled immediately!

they have just rang me too! because they knew who i banked with and all my info i thought it was ok. i agreed to proceed with "alex from HSBC" Im now on the phone with my real HSBC customer advisers trying to make sure these thieves dont rob me!!! i have aparantly been charged over £300 on bank charges and they will send me a cheque??!! DONT FALL FOR IT!!! money doesnt come this easy folks!!

I recieved a call from these creeps yesterday - all the same stuff about reclaiming bank charges.  The Asian sounding guy (went by the name of Steve)I spoke to was very persistent and was trying to persuade me to give him my bank card details.  I told him that I wasn't interested, but he said he's going to call me again (something to look forward to!). I'm also Ex-Directory yet they have my number - very worrying!

same call a asian woman called jessica parker ! yeah right, from cms reclaim beverly st glamorgan wales phone number 08717899102, they knew my full name and address and bank , supposedly could claim back bank charges over last finve years for one of payment of £45 ! then asked for my account number, i told them i would check out there details and they could ring back but i wasnt givin out any personel information over the phone, am worried how do these people know this informationj

21/01/2009, 18:00pm - Just had call from some guy with funny accent saying he could claim back my bank charges. Said his name was Michael Douglas, ROFLMAO. These people must think we're all stupid & never read or watch the news. Said his phone number was 08000 664721, website was www.cmsreclaims.co.uk. Checked the website & thought it was pretty lame & unprofessional. Did a whois on the domain name but that is already listed earlier on this page. Then he started asking me how my name appears on my ATM card. I told I wasn't going to give that information. He tried & failed about three times to get me to give him that info before I ended the call. Then I found this discussion & all was revealed.

My guess is either someone who works for Benefits Agency has either lost our details & they've come across it all somehow or, someone with access to all this information has sold it to them. Maybe they even work in some government agency themselves & just do this in their spare time.

We just can't trust anybody anymore!

jjst got a phone callfrom cms reclaim tellin me about bein able to reclaim 5800 pounds bk from my bank but the thing was they new who i was my sort coud and basically everythin about me weird dident giv em anythin though im lucky if u get a call from them dont give em anythin

If you think it sounds dodgy, a scam, then just hang up.

The more they can talk to you, the more they will try to convince you to pay them - which is just giving them direct access to empty your bank account!

A con artiste will give you lots of info to make the story sound OK, but how do you know who they are and what they are going to do with your personal information?

It's an unsolicited telephone call, go register with TPS and stop this happening to you.

They told me I was entitled to all bank charges that had been taken off me, I carried on with conversation to see what they had to say, all was going well unitll I refused to give out any bank details over the phone, they seemed to get quiet nasty and hung up, saying that I wouldn't recieve anything at all without the vital numbers. Just had CMS on the phone to me 3 times, they gave me the same pep talk as above, but they knew all of my card details. Hung up the phone and rung my bank, got my card stopped straight away. They are still ringing the phone as I am writing this. BE WARNED !!!!! HANG UP STRAIGHT AWAY the phone numbers that they try to ring you on are 00646821450 and 001645682145.

Received a call this morning from CMS Reclaim - an asian lady who seemed to know all my parents bank details - I hung up and they called back immediately and were abusive, extremely abusive. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was refused and again took a torrent of abuse from them. I called BT but was told that there was nothing that can be done about the company. Unbelievable that in this day and age people can be harrassed in their own homes like this.
