I sent a covering page and my bill now twice to CFD finance for a bill iver £50!!! I havehad no reply or refund and too scared to call the number again!!!

My father jyst died and I stupidly made a loan enquiry..... I got told to call 2 numbers. Unfortunately my phone got cut as the calls totalled over £50 ex VAT. I was told I could claim it back if I sent a letter with the bill. That was in December and no reply or refund yet. I sent another letter last week to CFD Holdings, freepost but I expect the same no-reply response.
I can not afford to call them again.
Its terrible to take money from people who desperately need a loan. Obviously we need to keep every penny of our money!!!!
If you are honest CFD, give me an explanation!

A job maybe a job......but would you deliberately scam people and take food from other peoples mouths to feed your own?
Would you steal from people (which is what scams are) who are down on their luck?
A phone call is intruding into somebodies home. It may not be physical but still its the same concept as a thief robbing an old person or a mother in the middle of the night!
If people decide to rid themselves of dignity to enjoy working for a company that steals from those down on their luck, they should not complain if people react badly to them.

Applying for a loan through you guys did not ruin my Christmas nor New Year.
I accepted the explanation that I would get a refund, which is buisness by the way, a simple buisness proposal and has nothing to do with common sense!
I only enquired about a loan as I am freshly back in the UK and was testing my credit rating as my money is still abroad. Getting £1000 is not that much money as a bonus to be fair and I wouldnt get out of bed for that, let alone boast about it. Either you are not a particularly good sales person or your company commission structure is pretty poor!
I simply came across this chat site by trying to check the postal address was correct for a refund. The best way to stay rich is to be careful with your money and no your rights! As a buisness promise, CFD are liable to refund any money owing regarding the phone calls. I have sent the letter twice over a period of 2 months without success. Its the principal for me. If I was food shopping in Waitrose, would I walk away if they over charged me by £50? Of course not!
Its not a case of common sense, its buisness ethics, which I am not sure you would know about, as from your low wage I assume you have not studied at degree level.

I do hope you got your refund as, according to posts on other CFD numbers on here, this lot went into Administrstion on 14th January  You say you only "applied" for a loan, so I assume you did not actually take one.. From various sources it would seem that there are not actually any loans available as, for some time, no reputable loan company would deal with CFD.  As you have just returned to the UK you may have missed the exposure of this company on BBC TVs Panorama programme when it was shown, on camera, just how well they covered up the fact that telephone charges would be refunded. Whilst you were lucky enough to discover the fact lots of desperate people were not.  As you were applying as an "exercise" and didn't really need the money you had the time to check more carefully.

I was just checking my status and I did miss the Panarama show. Ive been in Switzerland 13 years and this kind of stuff doesnt exist really out there. A recent death has got me back here but not sure if England is tge same as when I left it.
The  gloating of an employee was quite shocking to read but very stupid, as he basically admitted it was a scam if you read between the lines.
It was my choice to continue the call but only after I said it would be refunded. Thats the bit which breaks all ethics in my opinion, promising to refund when they dont.
so I haven't recieved a refund and have decided to pay £9.99 per month for a reputable company to update me on my credit staus. I prefer my money to go to honest hands......

think iv been had now thanks to cfd. they have sent me around in circles to there website and had to make more calls to the 09 number an my.phone company even rang.me to tell me it was 60 quid in calls to them! i dont have the money to pay that as its my kids birthday in two weeks. any advise please?

There is a Freepost address in the CFD drivel which they have posted on various pages for this number.  Take a copy of your 'phone bill with the call costs highlighted and send it to them.  Do not 'phone them again on their Premium Rate number.  Also report them on the Phonepayplus website. You could also report them to the Ministry of Justice and the Financial Conduct Authority. Tell CFD you are doing this and you want your money back within two weeks.

I'm very angry with the way I was treated by cf direct had message from Emma so I rang the number omg no Emma spoke to a guy who I couldn't under stand apart from bear with me a moment every other sentence then said ok mark you are accepted all you do is phone another number wich was 09061931231 and the guy sounded exactly like the guy I just spoke to I then had to phone the number back again and spoke to a manager and said to him cancel my deatails I don't want a loan and he assured me it was all delt with and I asked for my money back for my phone bill wich is £85.00 for 3 phone calls and he put the phone down on me I think the people that done this to me are dirty robbing scumbag low life [***] i will not leave it at this I will take serious action I want my hard earnt money back even if I have to visit your office I will

Send a copy of your phone bill to the address they give in their post. They are in administration, so whether you get your money back or not is something else. Good luck!

Hi how do i contact the customer aervice team

I phoned cfd In November and got told to ring all different numbers cos my loan had been approved I never got the loan my phone bill was £200 I've sent them my bill with no reply since then I have at least 10-15 messages and phone calls a day from all different companies where they've sold my number! Does anyone no if they actually reimburse you or do they just tell you that so you stay on the phone ???

As SteveC said, above, it would appear that CFD went into Administration on 14th January.  You could try contacting Trading Standards to see if they know anything.You could also contact Phonepayplus, who regulate the Premium Rate numbers and see if they are still registered.  Tell Phonepay plus what has happened as they have already fined CFD for misuse of the Premium Raye Call set up.

I was promised a refund for phone charges and was given nothing I was in debt already and they have made it worse I am a single parent and couldn't believe it when I was appoved then they asked for a call from me , kept me on the line as long as they could then mentioned the refund I sent my bill and nothing no wonder you couldnt explain you're self properly on panorama all you do is suck money from vunerable people so when you tuck yoursef up for bed just think  how would you feel if it was you

claimng that you have gone into administration but you are still trading why the f@^! Are you telling people that they have been approved then rippig them off I dont no how you can sleep at night someone will find you eventually and then you should get what you do to people every day ur not invincible best thing is you dont know when no wonder you're own staff dont agree with what you do they are commenting on here just using different names as they are scared to say anything there is no name for people like you

Have CFD told you that they are in Administration?  If so what name are they using to trade now.  Someone has said that they are using CFD Holdings, but have not seen confirmation of that.  Knowing these scumbags, if they are still trading they will be at the same addres.  They will still also be subject to Phonepayplus rules if they are using their usual Premium Rate call scam, so a call to them with a complaint might cause them some bother.  After all they have not repaid the money whicthey got from their previous Premium Rate call scam.  A 'phone call to Trading Standards might also help.
