The above reply from CFD is laughable. Read all the comments about them! Avoid these vultures like the plague.

I would Just like to say that CFD no exactly how to play the game just within the boundaries of the law.  Unfortunately you will always find vermin who wish to prey on the vunerable and needy and i hate to say it CFD/HORIZON or whatever they want to call themselves are a prime example.  Luckily i managed to stop my partner before he gave these people  the satisfaction of taking his money.  I used to work in the financial sector and as a rule of thumb guys:

1.  ALWAYS shop around.
2.  NEVER pay any upfront fees
3.  Do your research.  

Reputable companies will never make you pay fees up front and they certainly wouldnt make you pay £20 + for a phone call.  The government need to crack down on companies like these but in the meantime dont give them the satisfaction of robbing you blind.  And as for the spokesmen for CFD if you give a full refund why charge these prices in the first place.  Why not secure the loan for you valued customer and once the loan is accepted then charge your non extortunate fee.  Too easy?  Thought so.

Banks dont charge up front fees or use premium rate numbers.  Why the hell should you.

my wife got a call from CFD these so called finance agents saying that they can get her a loan and money be in the bank within 24hrs if she called 09064001819 being charged £1.50 a min and that they would refund her bill if she sent it to CFD FREEPOST!! looks like they are still scaming people and preying on people that need loans but got poor credit score and promising they can get it all sorted for them. Many thanks for all your comments they have prevented us from calling them just hope they never charged us for their phone call. everyone on here has to contact the finacal ombudsman thier number is 0800234567 contact them they will help you send a compliant to the company and if needed they will investigat cfd if needed i contacted them a while ago and they really do help you so i cant stress enough yo must call the financal ombudsman what this company is doing is illegal they are not allowed to miss direct consumers read the credit act it says it please call them hope everyone gets thier issue resolved

when ever i have had a call you have always always told me that you were the loan company and when i call you customer services all they say is tuff and are extremley rude you miss direct your so called customers and its wrong their is a big differnce between saying your a broker to you saying your the loan company your just a bunch of liers

We had a call from someone about giving us a credit card and was told to call this number and you would not have to pay for the call...well we did have to pay for the call but we saw on here the address for Horizon Finance so we sent off our phone bill statement and told them we wanted a refund! Well we got a cheque this morning in the post for the amount the call had cost in our case £21.73 now all we have to do is hope it clears! Their customer services number is 08001951980 which the stupidly put in their letter now lets hope they get bomberded with calls! So i would say do send your phone statement to them with a letter telling them you want the money refunded within 28 days the address is
