just got a call from this number. some woman left a message stating that i have a legal case against me and that if i don't want to be arrested at my home or place of employment, i need to call her back @ 917.775.0023. these people are something else.

same old infected computer scam... I messed with the poor little fool on the other end and then told him to go on a date his mother. Sort of.

Same as below, I called back and got an FTC message about phishing. They are mildly aggressive about calling me, and will dial three times in a row. Started yesterday, and continued this morning, except now they are calling my cell and home in unison. Hearing the phones ring together made me look up this number!

I also got a call from these people. I didn't know who they were so didn't pick up. Glad I didn't.

I keep a getting a call from this number it has been over a week and they call atleast twice a day. I didnt answer the phone because I do not know the number. There is no message when they call so I googled the number and found this website.How do we stop this ? I live in Brampton Ont Canada

I have noticed when I contact the Microsoft Corp by phone, these calls starts to happen every time. Its like someone is getting access into there database somehow,I would contact them but I just cancelled my bus. account with them and can't be bothered.

I never answer these calls.

They keep calling and leave no message.  I just do not answer the phone if I do not know the number.
I did hear garbled noise in the background (a lot of conversations).  I would say it is a boiler room.

Received a call from this number on Feb 1, 2012 asking if I had a Windows computer.  I told him I did not have a computer.  He disagreed and I told him he was a fraud and a crook.

These people continue calling me, guy sounds like he's from India.  Several days they wouldn't even answer.  Called me one morning at 3:00 a.m.  Next day they answered and I ask them to please take me off their calling list, said "no, sorry I can't do that".  What is this?

okay here's the plan...we all do the same thing from now on...when we see that number on call display we answer in a very slow clear voice(because they are in pakistan and might have trouble understanding us)

He's been calling me daily. Sometimes the number is blocked, sometimes it's not. Same old stuff - claims he's from "Windows". not microsoft. lol I have told him to stop calling but he keeps at it.

Today he changed his tactics. he said his name is Frank and he's from the technical dept. He didn't say what for. I said I do not own a computer. He hung up.

answered a few times from this number and they would hang up. finally today i got some dude saying he was from microsoft and telling me my computer was infected and blocking all my programs from the internet. i told him but i have an apple computer and he hung up on me

This number has called me 7 times in the past 3 days......Today the person (with a heavy indian accent) left a message regarding changing my email address for $39 or something to that circumstance.......I found this post after the first call to find out why this number was calling me......I did not try to call it back after reading the older posts.......This has got to be a scam......Why would I want to PAY for an email address???

I just received a call also about the same thing. They wanted to come an clean viruses from my computer they said the name of their company was Windows they said they created the software and Microsoft makes the computers. So I hung up hin whike he was telling me I need to learn about the difference between Microsoft and Windows.

This number has literally called me every hour all day today. It is completely ridiculous. Thankfully I have not picked up as I did not recognize the number and do not receive any calls from Washington State. I searched the number and found this. I am being called on a cell phone from the SF bay area. Does anyone know how to get them to stop calling or alternatively how do I report this sketchy behavior?

Where can I report these scammers??? They don't stop ringing our phone!

setting the scene....."honey  your wanted on the phone....", "who is it".  and asks if I know anyone from China, I roll my eyes and say hello.
"Ma'am Is this J________?", i reply "Yes it is"
"Ok I am calling you from the Windows Security Center, I am calling you this evening as your computer is sending our center warnings that your computer is infected with viruses. We can help you fix your computer."
I say thats interesting......
"I know ma'am but we can help you!"
"No I mean that's interesting, cause I don't have internet" (lol)
long pause from the other end....."are you lying to me ma'am?"
"Excuse me?"
"Are you f#$%ing lying to me ma'am?
"Seriously???"
"Why do you have a computer with no internet?"
Me - "Who says I do?"
Not to me but to someone in the room he starts yelling...."we have another f&*%ing B*(#* on the line. Another f^*$ing b!)
"Sir are you seriously cursing at me right now"
"Yes I am ma'am"
So I hang up, he calls back and doesn't talk and tells me he will call at another time. I said don't bother. Called the RCMP to record the number to which the RCMP officer tells me I did the right thing but hanging up and that if they call back he advises me to tell them off. LMAO!!!!!

It was another [removed] trying to get personal info by saying that your computer was loaded with a real bad virus, the idot even said that he was from microsoft and was trying to help me clear the virus from my computer.. i asked him which computer we have several, i then asked him WHAT WAS MY NAME AND IP ADDRESS.. he failed....

Received a call from (206) 456-0661 twice while I was at work and once after arrived home.  Similar to the scenarios above only this dude had my address!  Kinda scary.....don't fall for the okie doke!
