caller hung up when answered has called before saying computer needed fixing

have been getting these calls for months....last time they called I told them to eff off and then he started saying "you no f*^k me, I F&*K  YOU!!!!"  Such a shame people do this for a living! Do they go home at the end of a work day andhave dinner their family and be like " I scammed 5 people today!"???

Two calls this AM. caller says "Hello your computer is infected" i reply which one because I am using two computers right now. He says  "please follow these instructions"... I told him to send an email to my computer and I will follow the instructions then hung up

Go to You Tube and search for "India Call Center Scam". Lots of great videos from real computer professionals answering the calls from this scam. Great info as they show the lies that they are telling you - the "ID" that "proves" that the "error reports they are receiving" is the same ID on all Windows computers throughout the world. The "error log" on your computer which has nothing to do with reporting viral activity - even a clean and fresh Windows install will still show some minor warnings and errors in this log. Their entire routine is based on lies and exploiting fears. The videos are both hilarious and educational. A lot of them are from Australia, which shows that these scammers call worldwide. Do Not Call lists won't stop them. The best defense is to be aware that this scam is going on and know that professionals and the companies they work for will not call you out of the blue with outrageous claims and scare tactics and ask you to let them take control of your computer.

Told me he was calling from Microsoft.  Told me my hard drive was totally infected with malicious virus and was going to crash any day.  I told him thanks and hung up.  Same caller called night before and mentioned New York.  Accent was so heavy I had no idea what he was talking about and hung up on him.  I am sure it was the same 206-456-0661 number.

I'm in Canada and just got the same message , they claimed they were from Microsoft and I knew something was fishy right away.  Pakistani accent.  I just hung up.

The number 206-456-0661 just called and I could hear background noise but nobody said anything.  I noticed on my call-display the number called 4 days ago as well.  I seem to remember in September 2011 a man called with an East-Indian accent and said he was from Windows and my computer was having problems, I told him I knew it was a scam b/c i could hear people in the background. I can't believe after 4 months these people are still calling! I'm in British Columbia, Canada.

Called just before 8AM CST. Nobody there..

these idiots called me last night at 11:22PM and just now at 10:35AM.  I answered last night without looking at the CallerID wondering if there was an emergency with a family member.  My phone never rings that late.

Got a call from this number at 7.00 pm did not answer it but answer machine came on and all I heard was back ground noise. This is in British Columbia Canada.

Claimed my computer has been sending out a virus signal for months now and they wanted me in front of a computer asap. told him I don't use my computer so it couldn't be me, then he wanted to know how soon I could get in front of the computer and I told hiom "For you, never how about I call microsoft myself and find out the issue", then I told him to "Kick rocks". Yes it was a person with an Indian accent, not sure if Punjabi or Hindi. SCAM

We received a call from this number saying they wanted to fix our computer because it was sending them error reports on our Windows program and that we had a serious problem that they needed to fix. He said he was calling for Microsoft.  We don't have Windows but didn't tell him that. The guy's English was very hard to understand.

They keep calling me.  I read these posts before I answered.  so I finally answered their call and they said that I have a virus on my computer, that they found this from my IP address and they could fix this windows based problem.  Guy had a heavy accent.
So I had some extra time and wanted to have fun with them.  I told him that I didn't own a computer and that when my income tax check comes in the mail that I was thinking about buying one.  But after hearing that these computers get virus' I am not sure that I really want to buy a computer.  He said to not worry about those virus on windows programs.  I asked what kind of computer he suggested I buy, he said probably a "dell".
So I thought that this would be the end of this company and Boy was I wrong they called the following night.... Please tell me how to make them stop calling...

We just received a phone call from a heavily accented man. He told us we were getting a refund for $219.00 for payment for Windows and he needed us to get to our computer so he can tell us how to get it. He became very offensive when my husband questioned him about where he was from, and what my husbands name was.  When my husband confronted him with the call being a scam he said yeah ok it's a scam and hung up.-We're hoping people who are hard up for money don't fall for this.

Received a call today and the lady became upset when I told her I didn't believe her. She asked why I didn't believe her. I started telling her why but she just interrupted and wouldn't let me explain. I put the phone down and let her talk. Eventually she hung up.

I have received several calls from this number, including just now, and when I pick up, there is just white noise for about 10 seconds, and then they hang up.  Annoying.

Got a call about 2 hours ago. Lisa claimed to be from Microsoft (heavy accent)  I demanded to speak to a supervisor.  Supervisor (Peter) also had a heavy accent said their company name was JMK technology and that Microsoft knows them.  Yeah right!  I told them never to call me again.  scary that hey knew my name.

I got 3 calls from them today he said he from Microsoft and my "Computer was infected" asked me to run "eventvwr" so i wrote it down and told him i couldnt hear him and hung up.
He called back and I told him this was a police station and he needed to contact our IT Department so I gave him a fake 800 number to dial.
Sure enough he was stupid enough to call back a 3rd time and i sent it to a generic voicemail..

Might as well give him the ole RUN-A-ROUND

this [***] calls me with the spew about virus's and after telling him I dont want his help he tells me to go to hell. I guess thats where he is...

Getting repeated calls from this number on my cell phone. They don't leave a message. Very annoying.
