I didn't think I was whining, just wanted to let other "sisters" know about the cheats that are looking to scam us out of our money and our hearts.  As a Christian woman, I lead a very positive life.  Don't be so judgmental until you have had one of the jerks spend three or four months telling you they love you, only to find they are not  real.

No, I'm nothing special.  It's just the beginning of the scam!  As for the person who states that we "whine too much and to get a life" (from You people lead sad little lives), well, you definitely misunderstood the reason for this website.  This site isn't about whining or obsessing!  This site is about warning and trying to protect others from possibly losing thousands of dollars by falling for these scammers.  It's to teach others the warning signs and show the lies (such as email letters) that are being sent to lure unsuspecting women into their traps.  With today's resources on the web and women continually posting to not only this site but others alike,  one can search immediately to find if the scammer (s) are still out there and sending the same email to others. This is a quick way to find out if the "guy" is real and if not, stop the scam.   I do agree with one thing you stated.  Yes, block the person and move on.  Like other women on this site, our goal is to find that "perfect" guy in our lives.  And yes, we want to get a life! But we don't want one that is full of lies and get hurt in the process.

What makes me wonder is that you stated you "found the site".  How?  Unless it's because you fell into the same trick as others and were searching for a name or "phrase" from an email you received to see if it was real. If that's the case, then this website is working!  These scammers are not ruining my life; I would like to ruin theirs by stopping their scams if all possible!

My mom has recently been communicating w/him & she has now removed herself from Match b/c they both feel a connection.  She is not listening to her daughters especially after they made plans twice now to meet & he's canceled both times.  We are in the state of KY & he claims he lives here.  He does tell her he's going to NY & UK a lot for soccer but I'm not buying it.  Can you share more information w/me?

I may be reading it wrong but, on checking, the telephone code 234 relates to Nigeria although the number of digits used may well mean it is fake, via Skype or VOIP.  Can you get your mom to look at this website?

    I am in total agreement!
Perhaps some, would be better served as a legal eagle, or a clever little spy. Some just seem "jaded".
Block Them and Move on !

    Hi Vicki 1944,
So I ask have you, yet contacted Capital Fund Investments?
I actually did Meet a man with similar story ....A Nice Fellow,  Charming.  He Still has yet to ask anything from me other than my time socially. Supper and walks, with a morning meet of coffee once. I am simply getting confused.
VERY SIMILAR story as Ive seen here at this site. My Auntie faxed me this info and thought I would check it out. Better safe than sorry.
What do you think and again, have you contacted CapFunds?

I believe someone else on this site tried to locate one of the scammers who listed Capital Fund Investments as being employed by them, but did not have any luck with the site.  Said it was very confusing and difficult to navigate, so I decided not to waste my time.  I have been contacted by scammers on match.com, date.com and cupid.com.  Once my subscription runs out, I'm staying off dating sites, just not worth investing time in someone who isn't "real".  If God wants me to meet that special man, then he's going to have to find me.

Hello Grace!  We found Mario Dino & using Google & brought us to this link, page 40 something from 2014.  My mother decided to try match.com & this Mario guy claims he's a soccer agent but we can't find him anywhere.  The only thing we've found was back in 2014 he tried to use love, lost wife, etc. w/another woman & he asked her for money.  There are 2 phone #'s that he's using (US & International) but I'm not sure if he's using an app to disguise his #.  All I'm trying to do is explain to my mother that she needs to be careful, provide her the evidence I've located, & that sick people are on these websites.

I had been corresponding with Antonio Alberto Mario. Stopped communicating after a few days,  something didnt feel right. For a man in business ( shipping business in San Jose CA), he was no where to be found when I did basic web searches. He claimed to be widowed, no children. Looking to love again. Very strange emails.  Met on Jdate. We spoke on the phone, but he was not the educated man he claimed to be. His "italian" accent was not a true accent.  Finally did a reverse image search and found that the photos were fraudulently used. blocked email address and phone number. Scammer.....

He is using the name Michael Mike Donald...I always do my homework and the more he communicated to me and began to show his very poor grammar whereas IF he was the professional he claims to be would not be a poor as it is I began to question.  Also, his pictures were of two different people, claiming all the pictures were of him.  Same story about daughter, mum and Milan.  You can see his photos on this page...let me know if it is the same man you got messages from.     http://www.pof.com/viewprofile.aspx?profile_id=97861181

I appreciate your and all the postings here.  I began to question his emails and how "quickly" he has feelings for someone he has never talked to more or less met.  Thank you for your warning!  http://www.pof.com/viewprofile.aspx?profile_id=97861181  are the pictures on POF.com which I am sure are not him.  I questioned one of the photos as it was clearly not the same person...he has since taken that one down.
    Thank you again!!

I went on to the site at first it seemed like a normal site, the last time I tried there was a large warning sign, there was suspicious activity on the site.  The warning sign covered the entire page.  I have not tried since June.  Please be careful they will take everything they can.

I've met Mario Dino on Match.com.  My daughters say he's a scammer.  He said he's from Italy working in the states as a soccer scout.  He's currently in London looking to sign 4 kids from the Chelsea Academy.  Has anyone had this man reach out to them from Match.com?  Would love to hear your story.  My daughters are convinced he's a scammer.

Dear HappyLady.  I would suggest that you read/scan all of the pages in this website.  Personally, I believe I have seen this "name" used in previous scams.  It will also give you other names that others have come across as scammers; this way you can keep a mental note and detect quickly if this guy is for real or not.

My experience is the same as Melanie's.  This is August  16 - September 29th, 2015- the last day he tried to call me to still try to get me to send money.
His story has not changed.  I did not send him any money. He is a smooth talker, gets you to trust him and says all of the things that he thinks that you want to her.  He also said that he was going off of match.com and was so glad to find me and wanted me to email him at his personal email address.  I have tried to call the phone numbers that he gave me, of course, they are no longer available. I would love to catch this guy.  The name that he gave me is Tomaino Santorio-call me Tom.
Watch out ladies.  I'm not sure that I can trust anyone on match.com again.  I' going to report him to match.com tomorrow.

Don't bother with match.com, they don't respond.  I didn't renew my membership with them as I had over ten men contact me asking for money.  Most of them are on these sites.
