- Iberica replies to Cat Lady| 3 repliesPeter Giovanni Corrado. How incredible! I can see posts from last year, and yesterday on October 6, 2015 on Match.com he is still using the same stories, the same romantic language. But we have to give him credit because he is becoming an expert in copy-paste technology. One would think that as an expert scammer he had more imagination... More than 10 different names and the same old story for everyone. Thanks God I found this on Google. An thanks to all the ladies who shared your stories so we could learn from you. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
- VickiRae44 replies to IbericaWell, Ladies, here are two from date.com. Paul Tell, widower with a son named Oscar lives in South Carolina. He had to travel to Kenya to work on a road project, but when he got there, his Master Card would not work, I made several suggestions, but he always had a negative answer. Finally asked me for several hundred dollars for the "cab man" who drove him to the site. Was running out of money and not sure what to do, but so disappointed he would not be able to purchase a gift for his son. Have not heard from him again. Alan Green, in real estate, widower with a son named Perry that lives in Toledo Ohio. Had to go to Ghana to work on a road project and asked if he could have a lap top and cell phone mailed to my house and someone I had never met, would could and pick up the package. When I said no, have not heard from him again. Now in contact with a man from cupid.com and I think it's another scam, but giving him more rope. The stories are becoming more inventive, but from reading the "tales" on this site, I have learned to recognize the cheats.
- Connie replies to Vicki1944| 1 replyI too was scammed by John Diaz. Currently said he was from Reno Nevada a contractor who is now in Spain but having to pay $64,000 or Spain tax and is licensed to be able to complete the job. Supposedly has gone through all of his money getting his crew set up and supplies bought for the first half of the project. Course I did not send him any money but he did get me for $100 iTunes card for some program he needed for his computer over there. He also was in love with me and couldn't wait to meet me between first phase and second phase of his contract.
Also said he had a son going to school in Florida named Mario who is 21 years old. Mario even contacted me through email. He also was not on a dating site but his bookkeeper contacted me through match.com after she showed him pictures and he narrowed in on me and said he did not want to look further because he loves my smile and my eyes. Soon after we were talking on the phone and thru text messages tell me how much he loves me you couldn't wait to be in my arms. So I thank you for posting what you did - Connie| 1 replyBeware of this guy as he is very smooth and you can like him a lot. Don't get sucked like I did.
- mrs Hinkle replies to ConnieDamn right! I've only briefly scanned through a few of these pages, but I must say, from what I've read so far - this guy does not sound trustworthy and I don't like the sound of him. I recommend avoiding any contact with him.
- VickiRae44 replies to ConnieThanks Connie. There really is a John Diaz in Reno Nevada that owns a construction company, but it's not the scammer that contacted us both. Same story to me about Spain, etc. After about a year, I'm starting to recognize the scammers after one e-mail contact as they are all a bunch of b.s.ers.
- Q replies to SAGEDid only one person. Show. That he knew for the funeral?
- Q replies to penjI got same story in September. With ring and perusal
- Jennifer replies to mtmHarrison Sabastino can be added to the list of scammers from Match and allegedly with Capital Fund Investment International. Yes, they really can write!
- Jenniger replies to Iberica| 1 replyOther names from Match.com Scammers: Harrison Sabastino, Kally Luis, Robert Moritz
- Dianne replies to JennigerHe is now on OKCupid as Chris. I googled "Premier Investment International" and got this website. He claims to be a fund manager and named the same person he studied with in previous messages from women on this site.
- BSmith replies to WindsorWisei got the exact same message as Gloria 447 from a man named Paul Lee Hurley I met on Mingle 2(Pleehurl)
Only difference is he works for Premire Investment International. He tells me he left yesterday to go to Kent, England with a group of new investors. It appears this guy has a huge amount of names and uses a lot of dating sites. He has never asked me for money , but same story wife died and son and father died in car accident . I also found him via Google on a tour dating site . - Not so smart replies to penjYep, same crap! I filed a report with the FBI! I will upload the pictures sent...who are obviously not the real person (who knows who it is) but what a bunch of BULL!! Same exact story as penj...mother, Italy, Dubai, needed money etc. Someone needs to stop these people. They really need to be busted. I encourage you all to file an FBI report. http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx Use this link. You can add information as well.
Yep ALL LIES!! - carol replies to denise| 1 replyMy guy's name is Valentino Celestin. Same story, UK then aunt and mother in Sicily, who dies. Hospital bills. But also his son and father died in a car accident after his wife died of cancer 10 years ago. I am saving all the emails so I have less dialogue to fabricate when I write my first novel. I wish there were a way to get him. Carol
- carol replies to carolALSO , Valentino Celestin has a profile on Linkedin, but no photo.
- Barb D replies to Liz P.I would love to hear more because I have been dealing with the same man since October 10th... Is your sister been in touch?
- dicas replies to LAM| 5 repliesPlease don't beat yourself up. I have been getting emails from this guy. He's using the name Harrison Antonio Sabastino. I can tell by the other postings that this bum uses several other names. Story is the sam. Father and son died in car crash. Wife died 6 years ago. I became suspicious when he sent the 3rd email saying he is totally committed to me and he sees that we have a future. He also writes very long email. That to me was another give away. Men don't usual write like that.
Seem like his hunting ground is New York City. That's where I live. Thankfully I haven't given him any money but he does have my cell phone number. I set up a fake gmail account when I signed up for match.com so that will be easy to delete.
There must be a way of stopping this jerk. I plan on contacting match.com, but I wonder if the FBI would be interested in him. I believe they have a unit dedicated to cyber crimes.
I'm glad I decided to google him. He does turn up under Capital Fund investments, but it's just a Linkedin account.
Thank you ladies for posting your information. You just may have saved me and others from falling into his trap. - dicas replies to Anonym| 1 replyJust another one of the names he uses. So far I have 8 alias. I'm contacting the FBI to see if anything can be done. He needs to be off the streets. He tried to pull the same thing with me only he didn't ask for money. Probably because we had only emails 3 days. I became suspicious after his last email that was to long and too personal.
- dicas replies to MargaretThis guy also goes by the name of Harrison Antonio Sabastino
- dicas replies to StephTell your Mom to be careful. ANY man who asks for money and you haven't seen them is a big fat loser and scammer.
I had one try his scam on me on Match.com. I knew right away he was a scammer because his emails were too personal. He goes by the name of Harrison Antonio Sabastino. Just ONE of his many many aliases.
