He is going to bunch of different names, ladies. I'll report him to a couple of sites, but please continue to identify this scammer. Since something like that never happened to me before, it took me a few days to figure out that it might be a scam and find the proof. Don't don't know this person would be able to get anything more out of me than little info that you can find publicly or in my own composed profile, but I guess it will remain a mystery :-) Again, be careful ladies. My first hint was trying to Google this person and it wouldn't return any results. That's the first very disturbing hit. Another was no results in LinkedIn. From there, it's pretty simple to conclude that it's a scam.

I think there is a site where women report scammers from dating sites - do you know the name of this site? He should be reported there. Again, Google search is your friend :-)

OMG!!!! This is the same story this guy which is going by John Alan Edwards is going by. He had the same exact story you described in your post. I was very suspicious of him from the start. He said he came across my picture with Linkedin. When I inquired why could I not find his profile, he says he deleted. RED FLAG!!! You really have to do your research on these so called connections. Thanks so much for posting.

Same story I got from a James Denis Cristo. Corresponded for a month before asking for use of my name on the contract. This is 3 years after yours. I found the identical 22 emails I received online. They are professional scammers but I didn't fall for it in the end. I wished him to burn in hell!

He's going by Dennis Romano now. Just busted him trying to scam my mom. His email address is dennisromano709@gmail.com and phone number is 520-261-5180. His supposed company he works for us Skyview Investment International out of Indianapolis. The website is even fake if you look it up.

He said exact same thing. His mother just died in Palermo Italy. He is in Dubai now closing big deal

He's also going by the name Tony Valentino. Beware ladies!

OMG...exactly the same thing here and now....Dec 2017.... Guess his mother has nine lives!!!  This dude calls himself Andrew Wakefield and works as a fund manager for Bain Capital!  He's smooth but a fraud thru and thru

OMG; his name (for me) is Andrew Wakefield but the same type story; mother passed away this last month!!!  he has been at this for too long!  and someone else' picture is being used I'm sure.....

Richard Trond scammed me out of my whole life savings... I can't get ahold of him or anything.  He claimed he work for a company called CityGlobal investment International.  Now I can't find him or his company.  I feel so stupid now.

and now he is going by sean g.  told me he got called to go work the oil rigs off the coast of Scotland. And that is where I had some fun with him.  I strung him along for a month or so.  Until he asked me for my email and address.  told him I never met him and he wants that info.   sorry but not happening.  well he is nowhere to be found now
