Report a phone call from 302-731-1166 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- N AmesReceived a message on my cell phone from 302-731-1166 and have no Idea what it is.
- EAgain like the rest of you claimed the call said to be Bank of America, message left was that they wanted to verify my changes to my account that I made yesterday. I didn't make any changes. I called back the 866# that was left on my voicemail and only got a busy signal. I call back the called ID on my cell and also only get a busy signal. I called my local branch and they said it is just phishing that the numbers I gave him were not related to Bank of America. I work for a bank, NEVER give out your info to anyone. If you do ever talk to anyone just tell them you will call the 800# on the back of your card or statement.
- Caller: Bank of America
- Call type: Event reminder
- MarkI just called the number they told me to call. The first thing the guy says is, "Thank you for calling card services, can I have you credit card number please." I said, "uh, no thank you I don't know if this is legit." and the guy was like, "oh ok. Goodbye."
I'm guessing it's fraud. Call Bank of America from the number on their official website folks to see what's up.- Caller: Supposedly, Bank of America
- TSCaller ID only showed call from Newark, De. No mssg.
- NiconnuThis caller identified himself as Jose calling from Bank of America's Fraud Prevention call center. He asked if it was okay to ask me a few questions so they could positively identify who I was. When I hesitated, he said that if I was uncomfortable with it, I could just call the number on the back of my credit card and ask to speak with a Fraud specialist. I thanked him for his understanding, called BOA directly and they had a short list of recent transactions that they asked me to verify.
- Caller: Bank of America
- AllieThis number IS NOT Bank of America. It is a fraud!! Do NOT give them any personal information. I just got a call and called BOA who said this was a fradulent call.
- GRLeiDEF SCAM!
After checking the number online I didn't answer the call and then I actually called the number on the back of my card, BOA said there's nothing going on with my card...
My guess that some of you actually have a fraud claim because the card info is stolen and used and the scam caught up before fraud department to call you....DON'T GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION - HoundedByCallsI received a call from 302-731-1166 just now. I listened to the recording asking me to call 866-518-1695 about one of my credit cards. Due to some concern over whether this is legit from other posts, I decided to called the number (prepared to give fake info if they asked for sensitive info). My take: I think this is a third party company, maybe used by Bank of America or Visa, hired to independently verify a recent card change.
They greeted me with "Can I have your credit card number..." and I adamantly said "No". So she said "what can I help you with today?". I explained I was was told to call that number from a recording and didn't know why they called me and was hesitant to give them any info. She said she could lookup which credit card there was an issue with by my name and phone (which they already had since they called me earlier so I gave the phone #). She told me that a card under my daughter's name had an issue and gave me the type of card (Bank of America Visa) and the last 4 digits. She said I could call the number on the back of the credit card instead of giving her any info for my peace of mind with Scammers, etc.
She wouldn't tell me what the issue was since I was not my daughter. I called my daughter and verified she had, in fact, yesterday added her husband to her account. Based on the fact they weren't pushy, gave me accurate info about my daughter's own card, and told me I could accomplish the same thing through the bank I feel this is a legitimate, though unnecessary organization. Why doesn't the bank just call their customer directly? (of course we STILL would think they were a scam!!) Anyway, no harm was done, no info give out so no scam opportunity here in my opinion.- Caller: Card Services

- MI made changes to my BofA credit cards yesterday, however it was not an address change. This morning I got a call from 302-731-1166, didn't answer and told me to call back the number 1-866-518-1695. I got put on hold for a couple minutes, then a lady answers. I asked what company this was and she just said "Card Services". She said the reason I got this call was because there were changes made to my credit account. Which was true, but it wasn't an address change. She told me if I gave her my full account info she will be able to tell me more about it. I told her I don't feel comfortable doing that, she told me that's fine and told me to call the number on the back of my card instead if I want to.
So it might be legit. I'm not going to call anyone at this point, I'll just diligently monitor my account online for now.- Caller: Card Services
- ONE TYPE USE CC # GUY replies to BillONLY USE A ONE TIME USE CC# SUPPLIED BY YOUR BANK TO PURCHASE anything on line or purchasing anything on line. It is a free service with most banks. I use BOA. This # 3027311166 is a fraud # trying to get into your account most likely. Only log into your bank to chat with them about this stuff and call the number they have for you on line on their site for you to use.
- AnonymAnnoying phone calls with suspicious caller ID of only 4 numbers. Smells like fraud and phishing
