Stop these clowns

just received a 911 hangup call from this number...person with foreign accent. wtf?

Got a call from this # today at 4:30pm EST ...didn't know the number so I let machine pick up. A woman said Hello like 3x then hung up.

A man with an Indian accent said I had been selected to receive a free GE Security system.  I told him my brother installs these and that I was not interested.  I hung up.  

this was an exact replay of a similar call  I received about a month ago.  I did not bother asking to be removed from their list, as I don't trust this is a legitimate business.

yep...got one just about an hour ago...

As usual we let it go to voice mail (8:05PM, 6/16, on our land line).  The caller must have listened to my [short] voice message because it registered that someone left a message.  When I played it back I just heard what sounded like a part of a word and that was it.  It really doesn't pay to answer your phone unless you know the number.  Furthermore, if it's legit, the caller will leave a messsage.  Pathetic.

I don't have caller ID, but got the number 401-401-1025 via *69. Caller was a woman with an accent (Indian?). Said she was with DSS (or something that sounded like that); asked "Do you have smoke alarms in your home?" My response was simple: "Please remove this number from your call list." Her response: "No, no, never." I stayed on the call a few moments longer during which neither she or I spoke, but no question that the background sounds were that of a noisy call center.

Accent sounded Indian; caller identified himself as "Jace" from TSS.  He was calling about a fire safety survey.  I answered all of his questions by saying "sure," but was unable to remember my first or last name when he asked for those.  That just seems to happen when these kinds of calls happen.  I explained that I would be glad to stay on the line as long as it took me to remember my name.  He became audibly upset that I did not know my name, but seemed unable to end the call.  I explained that I would be more than happy to provide the information when I remembered it.  I could hear him conversing in a non-English language and then the call ended.  I tried calling him back, but the number was disconnected.

Received three phone calls each with a different name.  CSS, CSA and Rhode Is Call. CSS and CSA came up under Unknown, but 401-401-0125 was under Rhode Is Call.  The two women and one man all had an accent from India. The calls came at 2:05, 2:45 and 2:46 pm. This is a big scam and they need to be found.  Try an old clothing factory that was shut down for sometime or a storage shed and see if they are hiding there.  Oh, they all claimed that they were not selling anything.  That is a pile of bird crap.

Also have been calls from these people. I like to play with telemarketers because I am on the Do Not Call list and if you call my house- sorry about your luck.
"Nancy" or the alleged Nancy as I call her called today. After 20 minutes of me asking her if her name was really Nancy she got fed up and hung up. Her cohort "Austin" called back 15 minutes later and this time I was prepared. Austin, apparantly wanted to chat about things not related to the real nature of the call but he could not quite completely make himself be obscene. Which was fine. The worst thing he said was (Indian accent here): "I am calling to see what you can do for ME today. What can you do for ME?"
That is when I told him he was being recorded by his company and they knew which phone he was using to call my number. He said he made a mistake and hung up.
When Bob, Steve, Joe, Mary or Susan calls back my name will be Paadini and I will "buy" whatever they are selling.

Ok I got a few call this evening from the same number I am on the do not call list also. I could understand the first person that called so they had some one else call no more then 3 mins and they hung up. So now 10 mins goes by and they call again and this time it was a woman and saying they are in the area putting in alarms systems. I said DO NOT CALL THIS HOUSE AGAIN. Or i will file harassment change. So far so good will see it they back off.

I've gotten called from this number before. Told  thick accented (India) guy named John that last time I asked to be taken off of the call list. He became abusive and called me a m***** f*****. If he were here right now I would ring his neck. I am also on the no call list already. So much for that.

Received 3 calls from these clowns today.  The first time a guy started his pitch and I hung up.  Next 2 times there was an open line.  The last two times the calls made my distinctive ring go off as if there was a fax.  Guess they must be dialing in simple numerical order as my fax is exactly 1 number higher in sequence than my telephone. I've received these calls before (same bunch, going back several months) and reported them to the local PD.  Seemed to stop for a while.  Just wish I could get away with forwarding my line to the PD when I knew they were calling! Hah!  Cannot imagine such behavior is profitable/sustainable for them.

Received a call from +401-401-0125 picked up, becasuse we know people in RI, and there was music the a disconnect. Called back and was told can not make the international call as dialed. Scam!!!

Foreign guy said he was from GE or something asking about installing security systems. Told him not interested and hung up.

calling periodically, never pick it up, answering machine will get some motion in the background.  Need to have number withdrawn from whoever it is.  rhode is call for ID.6/24 7:15,

Just a scam. I reported it to FCC. Go online and use FCC complaint form. They will investigate.

We get this call all the time, not sure if it is always from the same number, asking if we have smoke alarms.  I always tell them not to call but today when I told the woman to stop calling me she told me I was rude and she would will call me back.  When I told her don't bother to call back she just kept saying "I will! I will call you back, you are rude, I will call you back!"  She can barely speak English.

Calls have started again! We received many in the past. only once did my husband let the man start his speel.  The calls stopped for about a month.  I am turning in the info AGAIN to the do not call registry!
We do not pick up the phone ( now ) and no message is left.
These Indian scammers/annoyers need to be stopped.

I don't answer.   I always check unknown number on google . Found out is is a  scam.
