Got a call from this number on 6/30 around 8:30 pm est, man with a heavy accent, when he asked about smoke detectors I hung up.  Received a second call half an hour later, I hung up the phone without answering.

Got a call from this number around 7pm and didn't answer. figured the double "401" was a telemarketer. glad i didn't answer! i don't want to be charged money for just picking up my cell phone. scary!

just idiots from an disconnected phone number - how does that happen

I just rec'd same call: "not a sales call, just a survey"...I strongly exclaimed "do not say that this is not a sales call, of course this is a sales call"...and they hung up on me.  I am going to the fcc's website to file a complaint - just as I have done many times when I've received such calls.

they have called my house once before. I was a little nervous so i looked up the number. Before we tried to call them back but it was out of service. Man both times was Indian. Caller ID said out of area. I heard my mom yelling at the guy. She was saying that we had reported them twice. She was also saying how it was strange that when we call back, it says out of service. Then the guy hung up. It is veryy annoying and frustrating when they call. I just hope they find them and do something with them.

A 9:35pm call.....and I am on the 'do not call' registry.....sigh....a hang-up as soon as I answered.

Have had several calls from this number that we chose not to answer.  Today, I decided to answer and have them remove my number from their list.  The young man with a strong accent wanted to let me know we had won a GE security system for free.  Told him I was not interested and to remove my number from his call list.  About an hour later, the same number rings on a second line.  I answered again to hear the same young man tell me that we had won an ADT security system for free.  I asked him about the previous call and he got very flustered.

This number has been trying to get ahold of me for weeks. (Most of my missed calls are from this number.) I finally figured I might as well pick up. The man identified himself as "Glen." (At least that's what it sounded like... he was kind of hard to understand. I believe he was foreign.) I just hung up. He hasn't called back since.

tired of calls on my CELL P:HONE from this number!!! tried to call back but get msg saying 'unable to complete call as dialed'.

STOP CALLING ME!!

Difficult to understand English - something about do we want or have home security.

they're calling all hours of the day and night, they say that they are calling to see if we have a smoke alarm.  i have told them each time that i am on the NYS do not call list, and they hang up.   what can be done?

Someone from this number has called our house several times.  Today they called from 401-490-2725 and wanted to know if our security system is monitored by the police or fire department.  We let them know that it was monitored by Smith & Wesson.

Caller told me he was calling from GE.  I ask what GE was and he said, General Electric.  I ask him if he was calling about our boat motors and he hung up.  Another scammer.

A man called to conduct a survey regarding fire alarms. I said i will not answer to any surveys over the phone. He's have to mail it to me. He got flustered and said in a hurry he will call me back. then hung up.
Yes, non-native English speaker as everyone else says on this blog. My guess is middle eastern or greek... but it doesn't matter.

Someone speaking a foreign language said something on my machine

I keep getting calls from 401-401-0125. The calls are creepy. Very rude asian-sounding people ask me how many smoke-alarms are in my home. If I say that I don't want to participate, they get very angry and demand that I must. This has happened to me at least 5 times. Just Plain Scary!

Caller ID says UN Assign RI and when I answered and asked who was calling he said John from Morning Tronics(?) and asked if I was the homeowner. When I said yes he said I was one of 10 people who had won a GE Wireless Home Security System. I hung up.

I had the same call and I tried to call back and the same message
can not be completed. Who is this?

this call was a foreign sounding woman who asked if I had a laundry in my home when I said What??? she hung up
