401-401-0125

This is essentially a rude sales call disguised as a survey, thus barely legal under DNC regs. The number is NOT domestic. Rhode Island has no 401 exchange and could not under NANPA rules. The origin is Romania. Recipients don't see the extra international code on CID without VOIP service or a generous display.

My 'gentleman' caller threatened to call me everyday unless I participate in his survey!

This number has been on my home landline caller ID a few times when I try to call it back it says the n umber is disconnected.  I call after 6:00 pm central time in USA.

Received 2 calls within an hour on my cell phone from this number.  First time, no one said anything.  The second time I heard a voice in the background, and some noise, then they hung up on me.  My home phone and cell phone are both on the Do Not Call list.  In the future, I'll know not to answer this call.  Thank you to all for your information.

Same as all of the below. 401-401-0125 They have called about 50 times today alone. WTF is up with these people.

they called me asking about the fire alarms in my house, and assumed I was the homeowner and were mad when they found out I wasn't.  And GRRRRRRR they called MY CELL PHONE.  SO RUDE!   Its bad enough they call on house phones, but cells now too? Lame.  She had some kind of accent too.  Who knows.

Calls and calls, usually no one speaks.  One time, someone actually did speak.  Said they were doing a survey.  Asked how many smoke detectors in my house.  Told him I do not do telephone surveys, and I live in a tent, so I have no need for smoke detectors.

I would like to know what this number is used for, a scam.?

Got the same call - asking how many smoke detectors.  Asked to be taken off list.  Woman refused.  Man called back 15 mins later.  Same question. Asked to talk to mgr.  Got hung up on.  Number was 401.401.0125.  I asked which company they were from.  They said BSS or PSS. I called PSS and I feel this is not the right company.  I'd like to get to the bottom of this.

I have the contacts so this number has been turned in.  The calls should stop as the number should be disconnected soon.

Got this call yesterday and couldn't understand a thing the woman said. sounds like an asian woman.

The lady said this was not a sales call.  She wanted to confirm that I had smoke detectors in my house.  I told her that was between me and my insurance company and hung up.

said they were GE and i had won a complete alarm system FREE inside my home for worth of 1200 dollars. i said 'how do i know who you say you are?' she gave me to her supervisor and he repeated the exact same thing she had said (avoiding the question.)
my husband yelled at me afraid they were charging us for the phone call and i hung up.

rcvd call from this number at 901pm  call was answered by machine it was open air in the background like somebody was listening. then it hanged up. no mssg left. seems very odd.

this number have been ringing few times on my unlisted house phone, the last call somebody tried  to say hello???

I just got a call from this number, stating it was VMS Alarms and when I told them to put me on their do not call list they repeated over and over again F*** You F*** You.

A RI number listed  with XXXXXXXX identification.  Foreign woman said, "This is not a sales call."  I told her not to call again and hung up.  We are on the do not call list.
