I am selling my car in Gumtree and I got a txt from the nr +61 477751386 where the guy  asked me to contact to the email dvdscott9@gmail.com. I did reply him/her, but then I started to google..

Pattern seems to be the same.

So anyway don't waste Your time with this nr and emailadress.

Sorry it has taken me a bit to get back to you about the boat. The boat condition i think is excellent and has hardly been used. I bought it brand new in 2008. It has a 40HP Honda fourstroke on it with a hydrofoil that i added to help keep the nose down at slower speeds. The motor would be lucky to have 20 hours on it. It is easy to take out and launch by yourself. As far as price goes i would like 11.5k for it as the motor is pretty much brand new. The boat and trailer are licensed til next year.

James Markane just responded to my ad in Gumtree offering to buy a car site unseen. He'd send his courier around once I gave him my account details. Sounded odd so googled his name and red flags everywhere popped up Thanks to this, and many other sites I still got my car (and money in the bank!).

I saw a Gumtree ad for a good cheap car in the morning, send an sms to ask if still avail, no response. Try to call, number not in service. Come back to Gumtree trying to leave an email but unsuccessful. The ad was removed about 30 mins later.
At night received an sms from +61 477 751 386 under Alex and ask if I'm still interested, if yes response to ermane29@hotmail.com for photos and details etc. Absolutely same guy but different scam method, this need to be caught and punished.

Got a response on car sales from a Nicholas Granville. Works for nz oil and gas. Happy with the price will send a courier to pick up car. What's to pay by pay pal. Lucky my brother looked up this site and saw it was a scam!!!!!!!!!

Too good to be true so i immediately googled the email address and i found out that it's a Scam so beware of that asking you about renting a unit. to make sure copy and paste the email address on the google search.

Just received text from WebSMS. No number. Just asking for lowest price on my car. Said to reply to email jordanchris2@hotmail.com. Sounded suss so I googled it

Recieved a text from Dvdscott9@gmail.com re: a trailer I Have for sale he asked for the lowest I would accept . I googled Dvdscott9 and found this to be a scammer.

I got the same thing just now.

He is a total scammer I just got the same message as well

i too have just fallen victim to this scam, why the hell i never googled this email before i paid delivery fee is beyond me... [***] you scammer!!!
