We've seen this. I'm surprised Opton - with all their information technology knowledge - cannot get this thread removed from the organic Google listing under their company name. To have it appear third in the list on Google must be effecting their business badly. They must feel so stupid that this is happening to them.

No they are not.  Microsoft make it quite clear on their website that anyone who cold calls saying you have computer problems is a scammer.  There are no exceptions.  You only need to read the posts on here to see what type of "company" this is.

Tell me, how did they help you cUSTOMER? Did they call you up and tell you your computer was at risk and did they get you to pay for downloading their software to your computer? Was it helpful being scammed in that way? Please do tell us.

Twice in one day, said were certified techs from micro soft. They gave me their number to call them  back and they repeated the same thing to the word. I hung up.

Maybe Avishek might want to comment on why his employees still claim to be working for Microsoft? Any responses Avishek?

I was contacted by a person named James who said he was from opton pc care. I have paid them two tomes to prote3ct my computer. Is this a legitimate company

No Richard, they are not legitimate - as you'll see if you read through the previous posts on this page. I would not recommend giving them any of your details and if you already have contact your bank and alert them to the situation.

I have been scammed by these same people to the tune of $750 since July.  Called and gave me the same pitch.  I am a senior citizen.  My computer is in worse shape now than before.  What a shame on these people doing this!

I received a call with an odd listing on my called ID.  The man with an Indian accent said he was working for Microsoft and had things not working properly in my computer.  He wanted me to log on with him on the phone.  He refused to tell me what to look for myself.  I asked him for a direct phone number which he finally gave me as 703-583-5515.  While on the phone with him, I dialed the number from my cell and got an answer machine for Castle Canty residence.  At that I hung up.

I think it is really cowardly how you no longer answer your customers/victims on this thread or even on your own facebook page. This only hilights everything said about you being a scam company is true. Avishek must be so ashamed this is happening to him.

Called saying someone is trying to hack into my email and they're from mircosoft.

Please do something to stop these people.

I received a couple of calls like this one. They tell you in their broken English tha they detected that my computer was sending out signals that there was a serious virus in it. I said hold on, while I turn my computer on, then I said "okay, I am switching it on now." At that time, I blew a whistle in his ear. He never called me back. I wonder why?

Called said he was from microsoft I allowed him access to my computer & when it got to the payment form I declined...he became very angry said I was blacklisted & could never use my computer again & would be facing criminal charges.  I immediately system restored & ran virus scan...he tried changing my administrative password so if I shut off my computer I would no longer beable to have access.  Unbelievable these scums get away with it & our justice system won't do anything.  There really needs to be internet police!!!

Same old same old problem with computer and they need to fix it. I asked them to come to house to fix computer and the individual with a heavy nonEnglish accent tried to make up an excuse for not coming so I said I know your a scam and stop calling he hung up

Yes this a scam

SCAM!  Do NOT allow them remote access to your computer.  They are not from Microsoft nor any legit company.  They should have been shut down years and years ago.  See this link for more information:
