- B RI received a call at 0830 on 1/27/2014.
- Caller: Macy's
- bmIf it was an important message from Macy's, they would have left more of a message than, This is Macy's, call us about an important issue. To me, that's a tip off they are a telemarketer who Macy's gave my info to. I also suspect the call was triggered by my credit card payment date, which was yesterday. I always pay in full, so maybe they filtered me as being a good candidate for whatever they were trying to sell?
- Caller: Macy's authorized telemarketer?
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Dammm Macy'sThis number called early this morning 4 times in 15 minutes and stated that Macy's was having a sale or something like that, but I was so angry that they were calling so early I just hung up. Going to file a complaint with the FCC as this sounds like a scam or the NSA......
- Caller: Said they were Macy's
- AllyAutomated voice said it was from Macy's. I have a Macy's card already with a $0 balance, they email me notifications of my statements, and I've NEVER gotten a promo call from Macy's before. If Macy's needed me, they'd email me.
I'm assuming it's a scam. - FredI've gotten nine calls from 800-511-3207 starting 01/30/2014 including four today (02/12/2014), according to the call logs available to me. Tired of saying "Hello" and getting a Macy's message to call some number, I stopped saying anything, so the first three calls today consisted of silence until the call timed out and gave me the beep-beep-beep, and the fourth call, after a pause, recited the Macy's message and then timed out. These messages make no sense, because I've never bought ANYTHING from Macy's, and I'm not sure I ever set foot in one of their stores. I'm going to investigate my avenues for filing a harassment complaint against Macy's.
- Caller: Macy's
- Call type: Telemarketer
- MarileeI received two calls one on 2/20 & 2/21, second call "he said he was in Florida" I told them not to call, they ask for digits of ss number.

- Call type: Debt collector
- Angry jackThis number at least 10 time a day.
I do not have a Macys card.
They do not leave any messages - Joey replies to mitchSo I got a call from this number as well, automated asking me to call in regards to my Macy's account. It is actually legitimate-it is Macy's, I had spaced my payment and they were calling for payment regarding my exact balance. I decided to check just to make sure-all these other posts here had me worried but after calling them back I was put at ease. FYI everyone I talked to spoke english fine.
- Sthis number keeps calling me for weeks, every time i pick up there is no respond. one time there is automatic reply said i should call back. i was like 'wtf.. so annoying.

- Diana| 1 replyI was constantly receiving calls from this number 800-511-3207. They claim to be from Macy's. I have never had a Macy's credit card account. Apparently the person who had my cell # prior to me did. I only gave my first name, and the girl told me someone named Andrea ******* was the name on the account. I was shocked she gave me the other woman's' entire name. So much for privacy. I requested to be removed from their list and she said she would. We shall see.
- Caller: Macy's
- Call type: Debt collector
- Gene replies to DianaI received a call from 800-511-3201. Automated machine left a message on behalf of Macy's and said it's an urgent business matter. I called the number and it turned out to be Macy's credit card fraud department. At first they asked for my information but I wouldn't give it to them. Eventually after I gave them my home number they originally called, they were able to pull up my account. As it turns out, when I opened my Macy's CC account at one of the stores, the cashier added the wrong mailing address on file and therefore my CC statements were being returned. I gave them my updated mailing address (PO Box) and that was the end of it. I believe this was a legitimate call as they happened to have the physical address on my ID which doesn't receive mail, and I also did open a Macy's account in-store two months ago.

- CatThey've called 12 times a day for 5 weeks. I have never had a Macu's card. I don't have ANY credit cards. I'm putting call block on my phone so I can block these [***]. Then I'm filing a complaint with FCC.
- Kat| 1 replyI got a second call today (1st yesterday). No message, just one missed call each. I do have a Macy's account. I make just a bit more than the minimum payment each month -- suddenly my minimum payment jumped to $95, and these calls started! I'll call Macy's directly to get it sorted, but I'm wondering if there was a glitch, and the calls are connected to it.
- Kat replies to KatWow, what a fricking gyp. I figured out what's going on with these calls, and I just wanted to share this with anyone who might be considering getting a Macy's card. I'm furious.
I use my Macy's card to charge one or two things, pay it off, then charge one or two things again. I don't have some crazy outstanding amount with them. My minimum payment was $25, and I always made 2 biweekly payments of $20 each for a total of $40 a month. Suddenly, my minimum jumps to NINETY-FIVE dollars, and these calls start. I called Macy's directly to find out, and here's why: In January, I miscalculated and only made one payment of $20 instead of two. So because I was $5 short one time, my minimum payment jumped to $95 (I have a $98 balance total). Further, I was told by the oh-so-helpful Indian woman with the thick accent and the poor grasp of English that if I didn't pay the minimum *each* month, I would have a $35 late fee tacked on every time, and these calls would continue. I'm sure this was all in the fine print when I signed up for the card. Fool me for not being more careful. Since this happened in January, that means my real balance was probably something like $118, and after my $40 payments in February and March, I'm only down to $98. I wish I would have caught this sooner. I was stunned, and the woman then had the nerve to say that she could post-date a check for me right then and there (I've since been told this is illegal, but I can't say for sure if that's right). I'll admit I said some impolite things in response to that and hung up. Friends and family told me since they've had similar shady stories with their Macy's accounts. So I'm waiting for my final payment in full to clear, and then I'm going to a Macy's store in person to close my account so I can deal with an actual American. Does this make me racist? I'm too irritated to care at this point. I doubt my complaint and account-closing will do much of anything within their vast corporate system. But as I'm still getting these calls, the instant my payment clears, I will then answer and threaten to report them to the FCC if they don't stop calling.
For what good it does! - Sandi800-511-3207 ~ Calls me 2 to 3 times a day. I answer and they hang up.
