- PatBeing on the DNC list is meaningless a great deal of the time. If we have EVER done business with a company OR any of its affiliated companies, they have the right to call us. And they probably will. The DNC list also does NOT apply to charities or political entities, which I'm sure we all felt during the election. So demanding a caller to have our number taken off or put on a list does no good. It seems to me there isn't much left. It gets rid of many but not all unwanted calls. Keep the faith!
- Caller: Macys
- SM| 1 replyCalls from 800-511-3207 come in day or night, weekdays and weekends. The claim is that I missed one Macy's account payment of $59. The calls coming in are listed on my caller i.d. as "UNAVAILABLE." The "Unavailable" listing is suspicious to me. The automated call says I must pay by check, and that I must give all of the digits pertaining to my checking account. With that request , I hung up. However, the call agency identified themselves as Macy's when they answered the phone, and recommended I call the number on the back of the Macy's card to verify their services. That is my next step.
- Caller: Unavailable (Macy's?)
- Call type: Debt collector
- Miracle replies to SMThis is a scam. They want your account information. This is not Macy's. Hang up and do not give them any information.
- Linda replies to ErinI keep getting this recording on our company voice mail. I have called them and told them to take our number off their list a several times without any luck. It gives the number 792588 and the phone number 800-511-3207. Annoyed with Macy's robott calls and will not shop there anymore.

- Gina replies to AndreaI have gotten about 20 calls from this number. The do not leave messages. I don't know who the numcer belongs to. If it is so important to call that many times day or night and on weekends then leve a detailed message!!!!!
- TinaI have received three calls today, Sunday November 19, 2017. I do not answer numbers I do not know. Leave a message and I might return the call if I think it is legitimate. No message no return call. If this is Macy's I don't have an account and never have had one. After all these calls, never will have one. Not sure but I don't believe Sunday solicitation is legal. At least not ethical.
- Maryannagot so many calls from that number. They left a message to call today. I had trouble with my new Macy's card so I called back. Even I had it resolved with Macy's they wanted payment to clear my account. Lesson one, don't call them. Was wondering how they knew I had problems and got my phone number.
- JNSCAM. Been getting calls every day for a week. The FIRST thing she (a foreign woman) said was “What’s your account number?” I played with them for a minute, saying I didn’t have my account number and then she wanted my full name and last four digits of my social. I asked what “Macy’s” line I was in the phone with and she responded with “For me to answer that, I need your full name and last 4 digits of your social.” Hung up. I hope all those participating in this scam get fatally run over by an 18 wheeler.

- Lar replies to JackieIt seems like The Do not call list is bs. I keep getting unwanted, unsolicited calls. ATT ID PROTECT LIST APP HANDLES MOST AND AUTO BLOCKS THEM.
- Len replies to DonnaThe Federal Do not call list is a joke and farce. These folks have found ways around this long ago.
- MThey are legitimate calls, I called the Macy's number that is on my statement, turns out the online payment I sent them from my bank takes 2 more days than I thought and I was late, they are NOT SCAM CALLS, it is actually Macy's, so call them back to the number on your statement or your card.
- Caller: Macy's
- Call type: Valid
- SamanthaWARNING! Definitely a scam, I am a Macys employee and can verify this is NEVER how Macys reaches out regarding card bills. They will ALWAYS send you a letter regarding over due balances. They do NOT call to collect on open accounts. Do not give your account number to these people. If you have a question regarding your card or account always call the number printed on the back.
