They call me 4 times every morning, I have told them that my card has been paid off and canceled and they still call. Every morning, I get 4 calls from them between 9-10 AM. This is against FCC regulations so yesterday I called back and told them that if they called again that I would file harassment with the FCC against them. Lord and behold, 4 calls this morning, so I just went to the FCC website and filed a harassment complaint, hopefully they get the message and get fined.

Get many calls from this number.  Once I answered it and the caller said they were from Macy's & Nordstroms.  Asked how they got my number and that I wanted it removed.  They requested my number because they say it is automatically dialed.  When I hung up, they were able to call right back; not once but 3 more times.  I then answered, gave them my phone number and asked them to remove my name.  The caller then wanted to know  the last 4 digits of my social and I hung up!  This has been going on for the last couple of weeks and I'm getting pretty annoyed by it.

I received multiple calls from this phone number over the course of 3 days.  Every time I attempted to pick up the phone, the caller would hang up.  I called the number back today, and they wanted my account number.  They identified themselves as "Macy's and Bloomingdales Credit Department".  The individual who answered the phone did not say who they were and refused to provide credential to me.  I called Macy's customer service line, and they kept "assuring" me that my complaint would be taken care of.  They said that my account was overdue, and had a late fee attached.  I realized that somehow a payment did not go through last month, and they kindly removed the late fee for me.  I paid off my balance immediately.  I informed Macy's customer service that it is bad business to contact people without providing proper information.  They apologized.  The customer service rep from the Macy's credit account department said that the 800-511-3207 number was actually a Macy's call center in Ohio.  So, it may be safe, but they need to change how they handle these calls.

Suspicious call from 800-511-3207 claiming to be Macy's and that this was a business call. I know there is nothing wrong with my account. This was the third call, and they wanted my account number, which I would not give without their giving me a reason for wanting me to call this number. They wouldn't (or couldn't) give me one. I doubt that this was really from Macy's. An Internet search shows that others have had the same complaint and this has been going on for years.

I have received SEVERAL calls from this number day and night. When I finally called back, they wanted my account number, my phone number, and social security number.
I refused to give them any information and asked them to remove my number from their call list. They said they needed the information requested. I told them they HAD my number otherwise they would not be calling me!
I have canceled my Macy's account. I suggest EVERYBODY who is getting these extremely annoying calls do the same. If we ALL canceled Macy's cards, maybe the company will be more sensitive to when and how they make these calls.
I will not do business with anyone who has no respect for their customers.

I went to the Macy's website to double check this phone number.  The number was not on the web  site.  So I called the phone number to Macy's from the web site.  The rep stated confirmed it was a legitimate call from the collection department for Macy's. (I was late on my payment, so that is why they called me.)

Answered the phone, and received an automated message stating they were Macys, and to call 800 511 3207 "regarding a business matter".  I checked, and my Macy's account is paid up.  Called the regular customer service number for Macys from their website, and they told me the number "did not look familiar" and was likely a fraud.  They told me not to call it or give them any information. I called the 800 511 3207 number anyway and spoke to Belle. She wanted all kinds of information to look up my account -- which I refused to give.  She said they were "collections for Macy's" and that she worked directly for Macy's/Bloomingdales.  I told her that she was working for a scam and she needed to quit her job
immediately.  Demanded a supervisor.  She refused several times, so I yelled. The supervisor also wanted tons of information.  She could not look up my account even after I had given her my name, city and street name.  I asked if they could see my phone number, and she said no.  (This is almost certainly a lie, since 800 numbers provide caller-id universally, and I know that personnel in other call centers are instructed to lie about this fact.)  I told her that the process they use for collections, if they are indeed Macy's, is completely broken, and that if everyone were as appropriately careful as I was, they would never collect a penny.

800-511-3207 is an auto-dialer for collection calls that Macy's uses.  It called me several times a day and disconnected as soon as I answered.  When I called it back, it said "please hold" and put me on eternal hold.  I called Macy's direct. The customer service rep confirmed that their auto-dialer does that.  I said that it didn't tell me anything so I didn't know it was Macy's.  She suggested I go online and research the number so that I would know that it was Macy's.  I suggested they get the auto-dialer to say that it's Macy's and save us all some time.  She didn't seem to understand my suggestion.  Gotta love computers

Got home from work and saw several calls from this number.  Saw posts here that it was Macys. I have a credit card account with them that my wife uses regularly, so thought I would call.  Sure enough, she missed the payment due date.  Totally legitimate call.  Yes, they even waved the late fee.

Got 4 calls from this number yesterday. Didn't answer any of them but came here to check the validity. Due to the mix reviews I checked my macys account online. Sure enough, they applied my payment to the credit line on purchases outside macys. They applied my payment to an account with a zero balance!? So now I have interest and late fees on my one credit line and a big negative balance on my other line. They were quick to transfer the payment and wave the fees and interest so I had zero balance on both. I promptly cancelled the card. I don't need the headache of one credit card having two accounts and needing to specify payments.
