These jokers have called  at least 3x per day for months. My machine handles this major nuisance.

When you call back 800-555-1212 it answers with toll free directory assistance by AT&T

Got a call from this number stating my subscriptions renewals are do. I don't have any subscription to any magazines. Call was makde to a number that;s on the National Do not call list.

fake cid, caller was talking about magazine subscriptions I may have.

I keep getting telemarketing calls from 800-55-1212 even though I am on the Do Not Call list.

This has to be a scam coming in on the toll free call information phone number. I am blockig it.

They called me and said I owed them for 5 years for my magazines  I checked with my magazines and I am paid current     is there something that can be done with these people

a voice said the call was a test for an emergency breadcast system then the line went dead.  Probobly be very sorry I answered that one

800/555-1212 is identified in caller ID as "AT&T."  Caller wants to scam you with magazines. Give no information, hang up, report it to Do Not Call https://www.donotcall.gov/

I got a call from this number just yesterday. When I POLITELY asked them to remove my name from their calling list, the young man responded, "Listen, you sorry piece of white trash...", I hung up on him. When I tried to call back to report him to a supervisor I found that it was and AT&T directory assistance number. How are these people doing this????? I went directly to my Verizon store where the customer service rep put me on a "no call" list and tried to trace the number. She said basically it was a dead end.
How dare someone call me and proceed to bombard me with names and slurs! If I could speak to this young man again I would be more polite to him than he was to me but I would make sure I told him how I felt about his call!

I am really sorry to write this but these people are trying to con and scam people all over the USA.  I WILL NEVER ANSWER A CALL FROM THEM EVER.  Do you realize that you are violating the laws of the United States of America?  Do you realize that you are conning and scamming people saying that you want to sell magazines?  I am very sorry to have to write this....but you are committing a huge violation and I am pretty sure that no one is ever going to answer your calls ever....

Recieved call about Magizines, never ordered any but get two in mail I am not paying for something I never ordered.

I just got a call from 800-555-1212 on my cell, what was odd is on the caller ID it listed a name of someone who I have as a friend on FACEBOOK, someone I went to highschool with but with her married name, that I have not even talked to since 1986, with the exception of a few FB messages, that is all. I knew she did not have my cell # - no one does, so I didn't answer the call, they however left a message. The female automated voice left a message for someone with a name I can't even pronounce, nothing even close to my name, with a reference # and said to call 1-888-123-4567.  That phone # is also listed as a bogus # on this web site... takes all kinds of stupid I guess... 2 bogus #'s for 1 call.

This number shows up in an ad for a product called "Perfect Bacon"

Why would directory assistance call me if it's not a scam.  I recognized the number from YEARS ago when I used it...like 20 years ago.
