- Alicia| 3 repliesThese people are fraudulent. IDENTITY THEFI.
Claimed they were with Bank of America Home Loan and that they needed my husband's social security number to correct our loan information.
We DO NOT have a loan with Bank of America.
Called 5 times in 2 days and we never answered. When we did and they asked for my husband's SS# we hung up!
Tried to report them to Bank of America, but there is no way to get through to a human being!- Caller: Loan Consultants

- KCIvie replies to AliciaThis number has repeatedly called my parents house the last couple of weeks wanting to speak to someone about their mortgage. My mom told them they didn't have one (theirs has been paid off for years) and the woman said to let her speak to someone else. My mom hung up. They called this morning and my dad called the number back. He asked who they were and they said something about vacation home mortgages. I put my parents and myself back on the Do Not Call list yesterday, but I'm blocking that number for my mom tonight. I just hope it works.
- pissed offthey keep calling me looking for my sister and brother in law by name. isn't that against the law to call a relative. I asked how they got my # and they said my sister used it as a reference #. so I called them a lier that my sister doesn't even know my house # only my cell.and that I'm on the federal do not call list, and if they call me again they were going too get a call from my lawyer and I'm filing harassment charges against them. that was 2 months ago.well they called again yesterday and this morning, march 18&19 2011. 800-669-0102 is country wide morgage

- Elizabeth PetersonI am receiving phone calls from 800-669-0102 at least 3 times every day. IF I answer the phone I get "please hold". If it goes to the answer machine it is a message about mortgage money. I am sick and tired of this. I do NOT know who the company is.
- Bernie| 2 repliesI receive calls from this number about twice a day. There is no area code shown on caller id, but it is identified as "Toll Free". Usually there is no one on the other end of the line, however, today a female voice asked for my husband. I told her I want them to stop calling and that I have previously requested that they remove my number from their list. She wanted to know if it was the wrong number she was calling. I told her it didn't matter that I want the calls stopped. Some times I just don't pick up the phone and the call goes to our voice mail and there is an empty message.
3 days ago I also received an email that had a Bank of America logo and that asked that I call that number. It really looked to be a phishing email -- and I can find no phone number listed at Bank of America with the number on the email.
I have seen this number posted on other who called type websites and some people seem to think it is a bill collector. It is very unlikely in our case.
We have a Bank of America Mortgage that originated with Countrywide, but have no problem with on time payments or anything else of that nature.- Caller: Toll Free
- Elizabeth Parrish| 1 replyGot a call from this number last night asking for a Michael Kowalski.....don't know who that is and told them they had the wrong number. They have called again today and I tried to call them back unfortunately they have to have a SSN just to talk to someone but since I don't know who this is can't talk to them to get them to stop calling. I don't have a home loan through Bank of America.

- legit replies to Elizabeth ParrishI called BoA via a number from their website instead of this number. BoA was able to verify that this is indeed one of their numbers. It is legit. I had a late payment that I simply forgot, that's why they started scalping me. I'm not sure why some of you are getting calls when you don't even have a loan or account with them.
- Randy replies to TAK2Calls at least one time per day on the cell. No message left.
- RandyVerizon allows you to block certain phone numbers through their web-site.
- A T LuuIt is a scam/ID theft do not provide any personal information to them. They also want you to call 800-669-6650. Do not trust stranger on the phone. If Bank of America or any mortgage company wants to contact you, they should contact by mail; furthermore, They should have all your information and not asking you to provide to them.

- Chystal replies to MichelleUnfortunately it is on only illegal if you do not have an account with their associate which is a mortgage company. they call me 6-7 times a day and finally called my 76 yr old mom, how sad. Why cant a debt collector just say who they are.
- Chyrstal replies to AliciaThey are in fact legitimate. The company is a debt collector for you mortgage. The Do Not Call List is only for those companies we arent associated with indirectly. Sorry, wish it were that simple. I get these harassing calls to. And yes, they can call a relative or anyone on your contact list from when you bought the mortgage.
- NettyThis number calls and when I answer, no one says anything, when I call back, the recording says its BOA. I do not have a BOA account, and want them to stop.
- not herbSTop calling, there is no herb here!
- 888There appears to be a LOT of these comments on this tel#....but no actual solution. The previous page i believe said it "may" be some refi company out of AZ.
My suggestion is probably file a complaint with the BBB, your state AG...and lastly...GET A FREE GOOGLE VOICE TE
L#!!! And if all else fails...get a new #...well...nothing's really new since most tel#'s are recycled these days. - Pissed OffThis place calls my job EVERY day and when I answer saying "Thank you for calling (job name) how can I help you? They hang up! I tried today to call them back to get taken off the calling list but like someone else said I can't even speak to anyone unless I have an account number. I rent an apartment so they shouldn't be calling me. I know they got my info from a pay day advance I tried to do online.
