- RazorfishI am receiving multiple phone calls at work. Stop calling!
- pigeon8 to 10 calls a day from this number. Sometimes they leave a message to call them back. However, since there are at least 7 people with different names using our/my number we have no idea who they are calling. Hence, will not pick up phone when that number shows on the ID screen. They can just POUND SAND. I'm looking into the legal aspect of this as I believe there is a law on the books noting how many times a day they can make these harrassing calls. They should at least be made to state who they are calling.
- Caller: There is no name on called ID

Dear Debt Collector:
Pursuant to my rights under federal debt collection laws, I am requesting that you cease and desist communication with me, as well as my family and friends, in relation to this and all other alleged debts you claim I owe.
You are hereby notified that if you do not comply with this request, I will immediately file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and the CT Attorney General’s office. Civil and criminal claims will be pursued.
I am requesting that you do not call my house in reference to loan *****. I am current with my payments and for the month of May 2011 I have a grace period until May 16, 2011. I mailed my payment on May 11. 2011, 5 day before the grace period ends. I have received 7 hang-up calls on May 11, 2011 and 3 hang-up calls on May 10 ,2011 from 800-669-0102 and I would like it to stop. This is a form of harassment and it is illegal to keep doing this. If I do receive any more calls from the above referenced number I will pursue legal action against your organization.
Sincerely,
your name- Caller: Bank of America Home Loans

- RobertI get calls all the time on my cell from this number, I never answer and they never leave a message. I've also gotten a few emails wanting me to call this number but the emails say Bank of America which I think is a load of crap.
What a total waste of my time these people need their knee-caps busted with a steam-roller! I'm so mad at the number of calls per day from this number that I could kill them they are driving me crazy, three times while I was looking at this site... well twice looking and once typing this message and I can make a safe bet that they will call again sometimes tonight.
Death would be too good for these people and the mental anguish that they cause people each and every day, they need to suffer a say class-action... take them for everything they have and then some, we the people need retribution for the pain and suffering these collective low life scum-sucking.... well I better stop there, you get the idea.- Caller: AT&T
- joeWHO IS THIS CALLIN I WISH THEY STOP ITS STUPID I HAVE DO NOT CALL ON ALL MY PHONES......................
- Pay AttentionThe Do Not Call registry applies to telemarketers, NOT debt collectors or charities seeking donations. If any of you had paid attention when you registered for it you'd know better. However, for those who are receiving ridiculous numbers of calls, or calls at all hours, look up attorneys who specialize in suing debt collectors, you may be surprised at the result.

- Not His Widow| 2 repliesI'm getting multiple calls DAILY from this fly-by-night organization. (Altho nothing about it is organized.) I got SEVEN yesterday alone! This all after explaining (for the umpteenth time) that the person they want to speak to passed away 4/23/11. I even offered to send them a certified copy of his death certificate. This was my EX husband. He owned a home (financed, obviously, by BoA/CW) that was foreclosed on THREE YEARS AGO! They keep calling, asking for him, and when I say he has passed away recently, and they are upsetting the family, they say "sorry...let me talk to the executor of his estate". (Heartless [***]!) I explain to him that the man had NO executor since there was NO "estate" to execute. If he had anything, would he have let his home go into foreclosure??? They then say (their favorite line) "Oh, I'm sorry. I'll make a note of it."...then proceed to call even MORE often...if that's POSSIBLE. He is my EX husband. I have NO interest in this property, nor his non-existant "estate". We lived in the same home, and his phone was also MY phone. My only recourse is to change my number, but this isn't an option since I would have to contact too many people, personal & professional. I have also advised them that I am in the first steps of filing a harassment suit against them...yet the calls continue. Now I WANT them to keep callings. I have a log (on my phone, not made up!), and I want it to get longer and longer so a judge can see what they are doing to me, even after advising that this person is deceased, that they have the property in question (foreclosed on 3 years ago!) and that I am not a relative, and that there is no "estate" to have an executor for. If they call again today, I am going to advise them that I am recording the conversation (so I'll have a record of telling them of his passing, and that I am NOT responsible for his debts and that there is NOTHING in his "estate" and that they have already foreclosed on this property.)
One question...once a property is foreclosed on, can the bank still dun the ex-owner for past missed payments?- Caller: Bank Of America
- Call type: Debt collector
- Ex replies to Not His WidowP.S. When a bank forecloses and takes possession of a property, it seems to me they would also take possession of any past due amounts/liens, etc.
- GREAT IDEA! replies to hollywillGreat idea! I'd like to know their personal home-line #'s, too! Let's ALL call them all day/night until they see how it feels!!!
- LAWSUIT replies to Not His WidowI'm at the point now that I WANT them to keep calling me. The more times they call me in a day, the better my chances at winning my harassment suit against them! I hope there are BoA "lurkers" in here so they can see how many people are serious about suing them!
- READ replies to AliciaThis IS BoA. Whether or not you have a loan with them, SOMEONE at SOME TIME had your phone # or gave them your # fraudulently as a contact. I have checked with BoA Corp. Offices and they have assured me that this IS their debt collector. So chill. Until you can prove to them that they are calling you in error, they will continue to bug you. My suggestion is to write to:
Customer Care Correspondence Unit

Keep a copy, send it registered mail so it has to be signed for, and you'll have proof that you sent it, so if it goes to court, you'll have proof that you requested removal from their call-list.
Debt Collectors are EXEMPT from the DNC Registry...so don't blame them.
