- Cheryl B rownI was making airline reservations through Orbitz and after I had made my reservations, a screen came up saying I could get a discount on my next travel arrangements if I elected to, I could not get to my order confirmation page to print off until I got past this offer. I called Merrill Lynch, our credit card issuer and the Service Rep there said this happens quite often with many merchants and that Complete Savings is very tricky in how they get you locked in on this. I was able to get it canceled pretty quickly and easily ona 3-way call w/ Merrill Lynch. She said lots of people do not notice it for months so good to check your transactions often.
- PauliWhen I saw it on my account, I called too and the best I could get was my membership cancelled, no refund. How much are they racking in just on the frogulent $12 charges? They got my # from ordering Pizza Hut online. I won't be doing that again and have let Pizza Hut know that as well as telling everyone I know not to order from their website!
- AlexI got a $12.00 charge too. Just call them up and press the number 1 then 3 to actually talk to a person. Then your money will be refunded in 3 - 5 business days. For a student without a job, stuff like this really takes a toll.
- David Anguzzaunauthorized charge
- AmyI got charged for the month of June and July for the amount of $12 each. I never entered into any memebership, nor did I entered into any survey. ( I know those are not real). After reading the previous post, I just realized that might come from my beauty.com purchase I made in May. Beauty.com is the same as drugstore.com. All I did was trying some coupon codes. Never commit to any membership.
Call them and cancelled, and asked for the refund. They say it will take 5 Bday, ok. Let's see. - ChristinaThis is a scam. My card ended up being overdrawn because of this. I cancelled my card and got a new one. I still do not know where this charge came from but from now on I will not use that card anymore. If I find this charge on my card again this company will hear from my lawyer. It is a scam BEWARE!!!!!!!!!
- RonI had no idea who "Complete Savings" were until I called. My bank gave me the number.. They said I signed up through FTD.. I called the number and cancelled and got a e-mial confirmation.. Hope this works..
- Elise Sjust noticed a $12. charge on my credit card, did not authorize, who are these people?
- CarmI got this charge after charging at a Red Lobster restaurant. Did not call them just disputed on my credit card. I'm postive I never agree to this so called membership
- annoyed in PAthis is so dumb! i saw a charge for $12 in june and just figured it was something dumb from my bank (you know how they do that sometimes). then i saw another one in july, and it slipped my mind to ask. finally, after seeing a THIRD one for august, i called my bank to see what was up. they told me it was not a charge from them, and they gave me a phone number for who charged me. turns out, the number belongs to "complete savings." complete savings my foot. i asked them who they were and why they were charging me. apparently, after ordering flowers from ftd.com, i "joined" this membership service that gives you discounts at other places. i calmly told him that i certainly did not mean to join any membership anything. he asked me what i would like him to do. i said i would like him to cancel my membership and refund the previous charges. he did both. he said the refunds will appear in the next 3 business days, so i'll keep my fingers crossed about that. but isn't that the dumbest thing you've ever heard? how sneaky is that, for crying out loud? not a fan. beware of scammy things like this, for sure.

- Lori KronebergerSupposedly I signed up when ordering flowers on-line from FTD. I called the phone number and cancelled my membership and had the charges reversed. Total scam!
- PatrickNoticed a 12$ unauthorized charge. Called the number and was able to cancel the membership. The representative said I joined this membership by using Etix.com. They said I would receive a refund of the 12$ in 3-5 business days...we'll see if that really happens.
- BethContact your attorney general! I just noticed this charge and have done the same, this is bogus.

- PFSI understand by several postings at different websites, that Pizza Hut and other retailers are allowing these people access to credit and debit card information...then the b*****ds charge your card $12 until you catch them with their hands in your cookie jar.
So if you find out which retailers are allowing this breach of confidential information...remember what they did to you. - DebComplete savings pop up after TIGER DIRECT PURCHASE OFFERING 10.00 OFF NEXT PURCHASE.Then they get your info because you use credit card for tiger direct and u think they need cc# to give you credit off next purchase. You will need to cancel your charge card and have a new one sent to you but your screwed for all of the 12.00monthly unless you have fraud protection on your card.Be careful of TIGER DIRECT they told me I wouldn't give my cc3 knowing my transaction was finished. They know its entrappment and don't care.
- Mike"Just dial that 800 number, an operator will pick up pretty quickly. Just state that you want to cancel your membership and would like a refund. Make sure you have the zip code, and the email address you registered with. It was hassle free, now lets see if I get my refund. REMEMBER FOLKS, BE FIRM ABOUT THE REFUND. She tried to get me off the phone without even mentioning it." Exact same here. you need to give the info requested to verify it's your account. Otherwise you won't be able to cancel or request your refund. It's too easy, nothing to freak out over... Even though i was as shocked as everyone else, I have to say the customer service was very friendly and gave my refund without much arguement. Just be polite and firm.

- DebComment to Mike, How did you get them to refund all they ripped off? I only get 1 month refund offered now I'll wait and see if they really refund. I still think contacting the attorney general and better business bureau after you contact complete savings and the company that allows the pop up coupons is the best action to take. Complete savings even tells you what company and the date of purchase that their pop up coupon was from. Mine was TIGER DIRECT, If you don't call and give them your zip code and the last name you won't be able to find out what company allowed the pop up. I know were in a recession but no company has a right to entrap their customers. I'm also writing in to Good Morning America and Oprah.Come on people let unite and put complete savings out of the scamming business, remember they violated us, so please contact better business bureau and your states attorney general.
- Vanessa R.I thank all of you for posting about Complete Savings. The first time I saw the charge I honestly thought it was something I bought while traveling. The second charge freaked me out and I found this forum and learned I am not alone.Has anyone had success in receiving a refund of the charges?

Consumer Affairs - beanie babyI ordered from Pizza Hut online on July 22 and got a $10 savings coupon. I DID NOT however see anywhere obvious that your would be charged $12 for joining Complete Savings. I did not intend on joining any club. I did find in my e-mail that I got a message from CS, but not until August. I dispute the charges and called to cancel this bogus membership.
