Hi I'm leaving this comment about this fake fraud that's been harrasing all day all night  claiming to be chase

Actually, it's not Chase.  It's Med 1, a collection agency.  They've been calling all week and I wouldn't answer, I'd listen to the message and, and after talking to a creditor the told me it was Med 1.  They called me today pretending to be Chase.  I gave the guy a bunch of [***] and  called the Attorney General.

Got call from them and they left a message claiming to be Chase Financial. I called back to the calling number and first thing the auto answer asks is your social security number  along with mailing sip code or account number so we can direct you the right person.. Major red flag when you get questions requesting that type of information

I did not answer ,but they called me at 8:09am, isn't there a law that they should not call before a certain time in the morning?

This is definitely not Chase.  The number doesn't appear on any of their literature or on my statements.  Chase also says that if it is a legit call from them the caller ID will say "anonymous " or "Private".  Also every piece of literature from them states they will never ask for your personal info and the first thing the scammer does is ask for your SSN.  If anyone on this site claims the call is "absolutely legit", they are in cahoots with the scammers.  An answering system claiming to be Chase is not proof positive by any means that you are really talking to Chase.  The first 2 things the answering system asks, SSN and Acct #.

You will see quite a few people telling you that this is not Chase.  They have nothing to gain by lying to you.  On the other hand, those insisting it is chase have everything to gain, after they get your personal info. Think about it.  Ignore calls from this number and call Chase direct using the phone number on your statement.  I say again;  THIS IS NOT CHASE

I did a little research and the number is indeed owned by Chase.  I found the information at the website below.  It also incudes a link to a pdf that shows the number as Chase's Customer Assistance Specialist.

This number is most definitely from chase mortgage. They called, left a message, and identified themselves. I forgot to pay this month.

You most likely have an ignore or block button on your phone.  It is chase and they won't stop unless you take legal action.  Easier to ignore or block.

Husband David received phone call on cell to state payment has not been received.  We have 15 day grace period.  Spoke to franz sanbuenaventura from the philipins stated that this was a courtesy call waiting for payment, have had a mtg since 1992 never received phone call before.  Something seemed odd about this call.

Got a call from this number Toll Free Number on ID for me to call them back. I do not return calls or give out SS numbers. Said they were call for a customer with an account with them.  I do not have an account and I know they don't call.

I get a call from this number every time my payment doesn't post on time. I call it back and it says Chase. Of course they try to get you to make a payment over the phone and I don't pay anyone over the phone. They don't like that much. I just tell them the payment has already been paid and they can suck it up for a few more hours til it posts on their end. I've been told in the past that a posted payment will show up for people in the accounting dept,but not for the mindless script readers that call you. They have no access to that information and the accounting dept will not tell them it's been made for a few days.

This number is calling the Department of Corrections.

I received a call at 12:30 pm on 5/23/2016 from 8008489380 and since I do not answer unsolicited calls I let it ring. They left no message.

My minor son received a call from this number and they asked for someone else. When he told them he wasn't the person they were looking for they got quite nasty. The name they were asking for was a relative so my son asked what it was in regards to and their reply was " none of your f*+*ing business"   . Quite sure Chase Bank would not have answered that way.

Saw the # and it didn't feel good to me, so I recognized it as being a scam
