- CWinRestonVAAnother call and hang up upon answer.....
- Caller: Caller: Unknown, but apparently Chase Financial (?)
- TGThey keep calling up and asking for someone that doesn't live here. We've told them many times they have the wrong number. They keep calling back. No matter how much they harass us, we can't magically produce someone that we've never heard of.
- TGYep still calling us multiple times a day asking for someone that we've never heard of, no matter how many times we tell them they have the wrong number. Idiots.
- BW replies to jWhat an excellent idea J, to send them right to your fax machine!!!! I just got a call from the number a few minutes ago, but let it go to voice mail because it came over my caller ID as 800 Service! A guy with a heavy accent left a message asking for my ex-husband, who has NEVER, EVER had my number because I got this number long after we got divorced! I am a Chase customer, but my mortgage is with another bank. I dialed *67 (to make my name and number private) and then their phone number, and a recording came up stating they were Chase Mortgage! Needless to say, I hung up and then blocked that number from ever calling my home again! Yes, I will send ALL these people right over to my fax machine...tested it with my cell phone, and it works like a charm! lol Jeeze, I might just unblock the number so I can have fun sending them to my fax!!! Thanks again J!!!!
- DonThis is Chase and they didn't get their low customer service ratings for nothing!! It is not unusual for them to call your house as much as three time per hour. Even if you do answer you are never allowed to talk to anyone who could help you in anyway.
They only difference between the Mob and Chase is that what Chase does is considered "legal".- Call type: Debt collector
- anonymousChase Home Finance had the bad taste to call at 5:46 AM that is AM in the morning.... I am reporting them as that is in violation of all laws when it comes to trying to collect on a debt. I am in the middle of trying to MODIFY my home mortgage with them and they don't even know it yet they still call, and now they break the law by calling at 5 in the morning !!! What a bunch of dueche bags....

- StevoThese people are from CHASE, they are not scammers but looking to get thier dough back from you or the person who had the phone number before you!

- JT replies to HOW TO STOP THE CALLS| 2 replies800-848-9380 is a scam and an automated system that does not go anywhere unless you type in your ssn and account number.
- JT replies to JT| 1 replyLooks like the scammer are posting on this site as well telling people that this is a Chase number. This phone number is NOT Chase. Never give your SSN to anyone who calls you ever. They are a fishing scam trying to get you.
- Joyce WilliamsI have received over 30 calls from this number... I would like to know who you are...
- Guy in AlpharettaThis person read the riot act to me. When asked for him to identify himself, his position, his location, he said he was not able to do this. It was verbal harassment. I was not going to provide any personal information because of possible identify theft.

- Deano replies to Hate Chase FinanceI'm having the same problem;someone from this 800 848 9380 number keep asking for a Machelle Luis (not sure of the spelling). I keep telling them I do not know her, but they keep calling. Not sure they actually dial the number so if your number gets in their system good luck trying to get them to stop calling. If you call the 800 848 9380 number it asks for a SS number or Loan Number to better serve you. If you don't provide a number the phone system ends the call without directing your call to human. I can't provide a loan number because I don't have a Loan with them and I don't give out my SS number. Telling them thay have the wrong number has not helped. This has been going on for a month, from the other posts it sounds like this is just the start.
- FrustratedWe get a call from this number at 6 a.m., noon, 7 p.m., midnight, on and on and on and on. Enough! When we answer, there's no one there.
- Caller: Chase Manhattan
- Not Vance Venn replies to SteveLet me see if I follow your logic about how this scam works. A scammer sets up a phone number and claims to be Chase Home Finance but they're really just phishing for my personal information. Then they pick my phone number and call, asking for the made up name of Vance Venn. I explain to them that Vance Venn doesn't live at this number. They continue to call my house for 9 months straight, every day, several times per day, always asking for Vance Venn and never once asking me who I am and never asking me for any of my personal information. Exactly where is the part where the scammer somehow benefits from this by obtaining my personal information? And how is it that when I finally sent a written letter to Chase Home Finance about the calls, they responded, apologized and the calls stopped?
- CA Resident| 1 replyGot this envelope that was sealed, hole punched out to fit on door as a make-shift hanger with a staple. Nothing on the envelope. Cut out cheesy paper with "CHASE" in both English and criminal alien spanish to all immedietely and be ready to provide your account information and SSN. This is a scam.
Number on it was 800-848-9380- Caller: Scam - CHASE
- alCalled on a Saturdy night at 7:15 P.M. They never leave messages so I won't answer. If they're that rude, they don't deserve an answer.
- Caller: chase home finance
- CA Resident replies to CA ResidentGot the same punched envelope on our door with a cheesy paper on it too. This is the third time they have done this to our home.
I reported it to Chase, haven't heard anything since.
IT IS A SCAM! - sewinthymeI do have a Chase Mortgage and currently am working on a loan modification with a broker. I am extremely suspicious of the message that I got from this number on my cell since they would normally contact the broker if they needed additional information. I know that they wouldn't be contacting me about payment right now while they are working out a new agreement, so I am pretty sure it is a scam, especially since they didn't address me by name when they left the message.
- Caller: Chase
- Paul replies to JTIt IS a Chase number and they ask for the last 4 digits of your social or your Chase account number when you call them back. It is Chase I know it because they called me when I was behind on my mortgage and I made a payment with them.
If you are not a Chase customer then add yourself to their do not call list and contact the AG for your state and the state the call originated from. - Glen| 1 replyIf you're still having this problem, I can get you in touch with an attorney that handles this problem. If these are auto dialed calls, without permission the min penalty is $500/call. You need to set up to document the problem and let the calls keep coming in. Do the math... at $500 a call, it's worth the effort.
