the have robbed my my five pounds and when you type stop an try to send the send a series of messages. Infact am changing my number completely because i see this is stealing with impunity and ammounts to robbery with violence. am planning to take up with trading standards to make sure they refund my  money as well as pay for the agony they caused to me. I wish UK phone companies could also help by refusing tpo alow fraudsters use their networks. what will happen if the access our bank details? would itbe another scam?

I think phone companies should be responsible by not allowing any tom dick and harry to be deducting their clients money. Do they realy have authorit from the phone companies? if so what are they doing to protect their clients? Imaginewha will happen if cartels and fraudsters like 81002 could infiltrate our financial instituitions? I pray the almighty God place the fraudsters where they should  belong, in HELL where they will be burned alive.

I stopped them rite there and in a calm voice informed them I am a London Lawyer with two friends in the Government. I was then offered the refund to be with me in !0 working days. I then polity asked for a reference number so that if no cheque arrives I can go straight into battle

Absolute rip off! I never subscribed to this number for Play n Win and have lost £25 in pay as you go top-ups over two weeks. They seem to have sent three texts at once in the middle of the night. Catch the scammers.

I have had a lot of unsolicited advertising on my PC including an invitation to win an Apple iPhone by texting this number. There's always a hidden cost and it's really annoying when you're trying to work when these pop ups keep interrupting!.

Th exact same happened to me exept it said there was a network error?

I do not want any more messages from zing.com....i topped my phone up tlast week,then loads of texts came through saying thanks,you may now download your content. ive lost 9.00 £.. WTF???

I have been scammed by the 81002 number and I can cash up and have blocked the number now. All I want to know is how many people have been scammed and then we can take this further.

OK folks, let us just sit back and acknowledge we have been ripped off by 81002 and what I need to know is how best to tackle the issue. Perhaps someone out there has the ability to get us all together, I struggle with my family computers and can not carrry out this role. As an aside I want to put it up their ..... where the sun will never shine again and if anyone wants to join the battle it will need a lead with IT otherwise I am sunk but not without clout. Stephen

i keep getting text from 81002, charging me for unauthorised communication and it cost me £16 last monh

This is a scam that has added £7 to my Vodafone bill. Vodafone say's it's from a company named ZAMANO.

Thank you for the advice.  I did a competition and kept getting premium messages and wondered why my PAYG credits fell so rapidly when I hardly used the phone.  I am a pensioner and cannot afford to keep topping up for them to take money from me.  It was an automated system and told me to click 1 to unsubscribe and sent me a free txt confirming this.  So we will see
