Have received message from 88227 telling me I've signed up to £4.50 per week for lottery numbers. I didn't ask for this and my text to them, telling them to stop, has, surprise surprise, has not been delivered! What can I do?

Talk to PhonepayPlus, the relevant Regulator on 0300 30 300 20.      As this thread is headed 82288 would it not have been worthwhile to put your post onto 88227?

I get every week premium rate texts from 82288 and I don't know this number

go back to page 15, bottom of page on 22 Feb this year, to see how Jon dealt with these unwanted texts to obtain a refund from his mobile provider; other options are available, as mentioned in other earlier comments; if you can't be bothered to check, xinwin will gladly keep charging you, and charging you, and charging you.

After trying STOP 82288 was not convinced it would work but have now a contact from my orange network to phone 03332026452 is the name of the company causing all the trouble they say I will be taken off list!

Hi, Same happened to me, I have had to pay around 700GBP. It is a lot of money. Luckily 82288 hasn't texted me in 2 months now, I hope 82288 won't keep texting me.

I have received 2 large bills because 82288 keeps taking 3.75 randomly , I have been onto o2 and you need to text 82288 with the words stop text and you get a free message back to say that have recieved it. That should stop them all I am told

unfortunately - for you - this site is not at your beck and call to arrange refunds, but there are plenty of explanations on earlier pages from other victims to explain what you will have to do, but get on with it before xinwin goes bust

oh, and get your facts right, caller is NOT PayphonePlus, they're the regulator for these 5-digit rip-off numbers.
