Had 6 texts at £3.75 ex vat each.
Phoned the number suggested of Xenion (pantherplay). claimed they had not used that short code for 2 years.
Phoned O2 . They phoned Xenion, transfered me to Xenion, Xenion agreed to stop texts but they could not refund as the had not recieved answer to free text sent to opt out. (no such text was ever sent). When I asked if their contact number was 03332027721 I was told no its 03332027722.
I phoned Xenion on the original number, they said they were pantherplay but were part of Xenion.
O2 called back, Barred all premium text numbers,

    Progress?

i believe you have been defrauded, report to ActionFraud & Trading Standards. clearly this is a scam and either pantherplay or xenion are responsible. if you did NOT authorise, it's theft. as a last resort, advise them you will issue claim thru Small Claims Court - speak to Citizen's Advise for free help - and as well as return of money taken, you will seek damages AND they will incur your court costs, see Govt website, if you are successful. ask them for confirmation of their registered address for service of court papers. really, you need to decide how much you care about the stolen £22.50. come back & tell us outcome.
