Just got another call from these people.....what does it take to make them STOP??????

If they don't display their company name I will not answer.  If it gets to bad, then I turn volume down so I don't have to hear them.  They can waste their time and money by calling.

I keep getting calls from this number on my cell phone, rather than my home phone.  I never answer them, but I did cancel our AT&T UVerse yesterday (what a nightmare that service was!) and now I'm sure they'll call me non-stop.

I was told by the phone service ,you have to renew the don't call every year!

I have read that this number belongs to AT&T, well I don't have AT&T nor have I ever. I am a satisfied Straight Talk customer, and I have no landline. Even when I did it was through Frontier, NOT AT&T. So, I have no clue why they are calling me.

I phoned AT&T to ask a question (I am a current customer). So the day after I phoned AT&T, sure enough, I started to receive calls from 888-211-7690. I did not answer the calls, and nobody left a message. I hate that whenever I have to phone AT&T, they start calling me with their automated system to do a survey. Why can't AT&T just stop it with these annoying calls?

Well, I blocked this number in my phone system, so it will not ring here and will automatically disconnect their call.

I know this is AT&T.   Look, I don't have your service and do no want it. So PLEASE leave me alone. Every time I run to the phone expecting an important call it is for a damn survey, or a solicitor. I wish I knew how to block all of them.   DO NOT CALL

Calls 5 times in day. hangs up on answermachine.

Caller ID is spoofed to say TOLL FREE CALLER.

They are not honest

I just came back to my desk to see 4 missed calls from this number. Is that called harassment? If it is that important that you continue to keep calling me, then LEAVE A MESSAGE!!!

Just got a call from this number; Caller ID showed "toll-free number" plus 888-211-7690. I didn't answer, and no message was left. Now that I know who it is, I won't ever bother answering if they call again.

I didn't have any problems with ATT.  When I called, I found out that the original company that took my order (not ATT, but a company used by ATT) screwed it all up.  A Mr. Whitfield who would not allow me to call him by his first name only Mr. Whitfield, told me that I get a $50 cash card for free activation and $100 reimbursement for equipment.  When I called to make sure the order was right (I just had this feeling it wasn't), AT&T informed me he didn't put any of the discounts on my order.  Now, I am not happy with Mr. Whitfield.  Not only because he screwed up my order, but also because I don't feel that any one has the right to torture me by speaking Ebonics on the phone.

8882117690, if this is AT&T Uverse, we've had this several months, but these calls just started yesterday. NEVER a message, 6 calls yesterday, already 4 just this morning alone...NO caller ID.  This IS Harrassment.  How can they be exempt from the "Do Not Call List"?  Then what's the point in having that list? This isn't a company simply being concerned to check on their service, this is plain Harrassment!!

I received two calls today already from this number but I AM NOT AN AT&T CUSTOMER!
I have not signed up for any AT&T service, nor will I ever.
Why are they calling me and how can I stop it?
What is the best address (or email) to send a letter asking them to stop harassing me?

We had AT&T Cell (5 lines unlimited) for 15 years and they screwed us over on a billing glitch and refused to fix it so we kept our phones, paid $14.00 for new sim cards, switched all 5 lines to Straight Talk unlimited for $45.00 month and celebrated with a big F.U. AT&T party and had everyone bring all AT&T mailers, flyers, any AT&T crap you could come up with, then taped a big BURN AT&T sign to side of metal trash barrel and set some charcoal on fire in bottom then made video of each AT&T thing getting doused with charcoal lighter and dropped in to poof in flames as we all cheered and toasted. FELT GREAT TO GROUP TOGETHER AND TOAST A HEARTY F.U. AT&T over and over and over until we were all toasted!!  You can still see some of the videos on U-Tube.  Also switched land lines to Magic Jack for $19.99 PER YEAR and saved a ton then we went to bathroom at mall and filled one urinal with AT&T crap and did video of about 20 streams of urine pissing on AT&T. Was fun but not same as burning it and drinking to the roasting. :) .. Anyhow, pass this on and share a hearty F.U. AT&T with all you meet today!!

Keep  having  this  number  call  me  multiple  times  a  day...did  a  search,  it  is  from  California,  they  will  not  leave  a  message  and  hang  up  before  my  answering  machine  is  ready  for  the  message.

I called the number back and it was a survey to find out how I felt about the service I received yesterday from calling AT&T.  I had called to see if I could get some things removed from our UVerse to help the bill go down or I would  be changing who provides our service.  It took some persistence but I got it done.  I guess I would really know when I see my next bill and it is a lot lower.
