I have gotten at least 6 calls from this number in the past two days and I would say around 50 in the past few weeks. It gives me an option to press 7 to block all future calls and I do then hang up and the number calls back within one day. It says it is a prepaid call from Jefferson County or City correctional facility. The inmate's name is Chris. I do not know anyone by that name or anyone that is in jail at all.

It said in my voicemail that it was from "Joe" or something. I don't even know a Joe in life let alone in jail. This pisses me off.

Got 10 calls one after the other at around 2 am.
Some other # which turn to be from correctional facility.I am sick of it and will turn off my phone.Any asvise?

Have had 10 calls since yesterday, recording says it's a collect call from the Hall County Detention Center (which is in GA per an internet search...). I do NOT know anyone in jail, much less in jail in GA. I can't understand the man's name when he's said it, but he also says things like, "Press 0" and other cryptic messages in the little spot reserved for the inmate to say his name. Very annoying.

I accepted a call from this number and it was my husbands best freind he hadnt seen in years THIS IS NOT A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!  quit whining people

My dad's in jail, he called me once from this number and ever since I have been receiving calls for the same number at all hours and almost everyday...its frustrating. How do I stop it???

I keep getting this call. i did have an imate say his name and said he wanted to talk. i couldnt understand his name though. he left it on my voicemail. i dont know anyone thats in jail either.

i just got this call 5 times in 10 min. i dont know any one in jail, and the messages they left told me that the call could not be accepted. my best friend had the same thing happen not to long ago. we live in g vill florida.

Ok here's how they scam you. It happened to someone I know...

You get a call from this number. If you answer you are told the call may be monitored for quality assurance or something else. Then someone comes on the line and asks if you will accept a collect call from an in-mate attempting to dreach you and you decline.. The calls will be repeated and you respond again declining.. After a few calls you tell them you dont want to receive the calls anymore and then you are to call a certain number and the speak officer so and so ( usually with a title of Sgt.} so you can request that they block calls to your number.. If you fall for this and call the number given your connection access from your phone will be hijacked and within a matter of hours if not less your phone will accumulate hundreds of dollars of long distance , collect calls etc... So DONT ANSWER OR JUST HANG UP IF YOU FORGET TO CHECK WHO IS CALLING ON YOUR CALLER ID OR ON YOUR CELL PHONE INCOMING CALL ID.....

People in jail can use this access number to call out.....

Received a call from this number but I was on the other line so I didn't answer it. Message left was incomplete but mentioned pressing 3 to accept or pressing 9 to refuse or just hang up...

They called me at 11:10pm and I have no idea who would try to call me at that hour from jail as I don't KNOW anyone in jail.

I have been getting calles from this number as well. but they are speaking spanish and i dont know spanish I think I will call the fdc next time they call
