This is a legit call.  They were suspicious of someone trying to make charges to Craigs List & I-tunes with my Credit Union credit card number.  
They shut down my card and issued me a new one

This phone number is for PSCU Financial Services. They are a cooperative service organization serving over 550 Credit Unions that issue credit and debit cards.

The phone number is for PSCU's fraud department that monitors cards on behalf of their credit union clients 24/7/365 for suspicious activity.  They make outbound calls 7 days a week.  

If you query your credit union about the phone number, ask for your credit union's card services manager - they would be most familiar about the relationship with PSCU for card activity monitoring.

My daughter is traveling in South Africa and tried to charge bus tix there. Falcon was calling on behalf of my credit union to verify the charges were legit.  Falcon's 888-918-7313 number is posted on the credit union's web site.

Company is legit, call the number on the back of your card, they are one and the same. They do not ask you for your card number, maybe the last 4, just to make sure they are looking at the right acct, debit vs credit card or if you have multiple cards with the same credit union. Awesome service.

called & claimed to be my bank about 2 internet transactions that i had just tried to make.  did not ask for any account info.

Totally legit, I called my bank before calling them to verify that they outsource this company to monitor transactions, and they do. The purchase I made was only for $300 but I'm glad they called to verify. If in doubt, call your bank or credit union first. All they asked for was the last four digits of SSN and DOB. Also, they had a record of my transactions, I did not have to disclose this to them.

Checked w/ my bank & they said that this is a scam call trying to get my info.

This is a fake. I work @ a bank, they ask for a card #-if they were legit they wouldn't ask for this.

My retired Mother received a phone message from this number claiming he was calling for Tennessee Member's First Federal Credit Union. First of all, there is no such credit union to her knowledge and secondly, she didn't call them back after we Googled the number. If not a scam, then just a major bunch of intruding pests as someone stated!

This company, Falcon, is hired by credit unions to detect fraud.  We received one phone call and one email asking us to call them back at this number.  There were two charges in question from Mexico totaling nearly $1000 that we did not make or authorize.  

The company is legitimate, but there is definitely confusion since credit union representatives are not always aware that their security is outsourced to a third party (Falcon).  

In the end this is a legitimate number.  If you are called, I would suggest you look at your account activity online first (to look for unauthorized charges) and then call the number on the back of your credit/debit card if you have any concern or doubt about the legitimacy of this company.

When I did eventually call them back they asked for the phone number, name, and birth date of the primary account holder.  They also verified the last four digits of the account.

This is a MAJOR scam!  I got a sms alert from "Chase" regarding my accounts being closed.  However, the alert went to my 11 year old daughter's cell phone!  So I called Chase and not only was my account never closed, the representative said that she had already gotten a few phone calls over the last few days from other people that this happened to.

Do NOT be foolish!  Do NOT call the number back!  Be smart enough to call your bank directly.  These people are phising for your info!

Got a call from a guy saying he was from the fraud dept of my credit union and there was suspicious activity on my VISA bill. He asked about charges. I verified that two of them were not mine. He said my card would be cancelled and new cards would be sent in 7 to 10 days. He asked to verify my home address, which I would not do for security purposes. He said that was fine and that new cards would be sent to the address on record of the credit card.
I then turned around and called my credit union. They verified that this was a legitimate call and that my cards had been cancelled and new cards would be sent.

1. Got a phone call and asked to call 888-918-7313.
2. I wasn't sure that this is a legit #/company.
3. I call the # on the back of my card then transferred to their security department.
4. I didn't have information they asked (because I'm an additional account holder), and suggested to call their direct # and the number is.. 888-918-7313. The CS said that yes it is their #.
So I will call them back to their direct # because it is not a spam.
In simple words, my call to the # on the back of my card got transferred to this company/# (888-918-7313).

I received a call from them, verified they were legitimate with my Credit Union, and returned their call. Actually, my CU connected me to them. I don't generally make Western Union online money transfers and they were confirming that I did, indeed, make that transaction. The only part of it is that I don't like them telling me that they are with my CU. They should be more up front about who they are so that my CU could actually find that information quicker.

Doris from PentagonFCU CC called home phone & spouses cell; left message about conducting a 'routine security check' & requesting we call back @888.918.7313.  My first instinct was to search the phone #; spouse is going to call cust svc on the back of our CC to see what is what.

My call, verified by my credit union, was a credit card security rep with questions about a recent credit card internet order that failed. If I did not clear it up with the company I had attempted to make the purchase from they would keep trying to submit the card info triggering another security alert. My credit union I believe never notified me of this security service. As always do your own check if it does not feel right!

Valid call from company contracting with Credit Union to verify recent transactions.

This phone number is legit. They are working hard to help the card holders. Please DONT be MEAN to them. They are doing as told. Fraud happens in SOOOO many different ways. They are just calling on charges that MIGHT be fraudulent. Sure you may have done them monthly for the last year and they are ok for YOU.. but maybe someone ELSE has had fraud on their account from the SAME company YOU use! Then it becomes something to think about! Just because YOU never got your information taken and you have the card in your hand it does not mean that someone has not gotten the information.. come on people.. identity theft happens even if you have your social security card in your pocket and license in your wallet!
Please treat these people (as you should ALL people) with repect...they are working hard.

I got a call from this number that I let go to voicemail.  The voicemail said to call them at 888-918-7313 regarding fraudulent charges.  I logged onto my credit union's website to check the Visa history and, sure enough, there were half a dozen charges from Apple and Microsoft that I didn't make.  I called them back.  They did not ask for my credit card number.  They just asked for my phone number, birth date, and last 4 of my SSN.  Then she read off the same list of charges that I saw on the website (and an additional one for Skype that hadn't shown up in my history yet) and asked me to confirm that they were bogus.  Then she said my card was canceled and a ew one would be showing up in 7-10 days.

This was the first time they called me and it was to catch fraud the very same day that it happened.  I am pretty happy with them.
