Glad i found this site just received a voicemail stating, Micelle from Walter Steven Law Office,my file is on her desk, contact her at 905-296-3027. I will be recording her messages from now on. Thought something was funny she sounded like she was calling from outside lots of background noise, unprofessional, that's what had me wondering. Had to check it out!

We live in Alberta and I've never personally HEARD of Premier fitness yet this B*TCH called and tried to collect money on an outstanding gym fee threatening with legal action....hmmmmmmm....have never heard of Premier fitness so how do I 'owe' to a company that I've never heard of in another province!  What a scumbag!

Just got a call today from this [***] named Micelle. she says she is from Steven Walters law office.She never said what the call is for only that it would be in my best interest to call back, so I did VOICEMAIL is all I got. So I googled Steven Walter law Firm, surprise no such firm, but I did get this site THANK GOD. NOW i AM READY FOR HER BRING IT ON  LOL

Yep she called our house today to find my gf. 905 296 3027 There is no law firm. She is a creditor/scammer. Shes calling cross country for dept collection witch unfortunately means she can bypass all regulations. to the best of my knowledge. My opinion is to call the company extream fitness or w.e shes representing directly and ask about your account and how much is due. I have a funny feeling that shes just 1 expired employee that has access to membership information so your pretty much paying her rent while she calls you. Good luck all tell this foul individual to suck one.

Also just call her back and let her know that so and so doesnt not reside at the listed address and if you get anymore calls from said "lawfirm" you will be contacting local authorities. Usually that does the trick.

For the last ten days I have had this apparent firm, Steven Walters, call my home, first asking to speak to my son regarding a file debt, which is ludicrous since he doesn't yet have a credit history of any kind, and secondly, annoying a friend of mine with same...although my friend does have a credit history and is currently paying two debts off, she is aware of those legitamate creditors and is dealing with them in the normal way.  She is also a victim in that she has no other debt yet this individual has also called her; the phone messages are not threatening, yet, but neither my son or my friend will pick up and that is the best thing to do in this circumstance I think.  What is upsetting to all of us is the personal info this individual has..does anyone know how these creeps get their information? E.g. Thus person had my new phone number, because we'd just moved, even though it's brand new and not listed...she knew my friend's second name...if I wasn't so upset I be scared...this is exactly like obscene phone calls or being stalked.  A less glued together individual than I am would be sent over the edge with phone calls of this type. All the other comments on this site seem to be connected to a gym or workout center, something none of us has ever been involved in. Her name is not Michelle, or Micelle, she is saying her name is Clode M. and she has a distinct Indian accent.

I live in Alberta and have recieved calls from this gal too. The client she claims to repesent was Bradford Exchange and was of the stevens walters firm as well. Of course my credit was at risk if I did not forward a cheque or money order to resolve this matter. I had offered to make a payment through online banking and was assured it was too late for that and payment must be sent directly to the law firm. I dont deny owing money to the Bradford Exchange but wonder how she knew the amount. I was at first wondering why only one bill had gone to collections and not the other that I also owed from the same purchase. After taking the call on my behalf my fiance looked up the number online and found this site and was sure to point it out to me and its a good thing or I might have been taken. I will definately pay Bradford directly on my credit card

since my last post I have received yet another call from "michelle".I refused to answer the call and her voicemail stated that she had not recieved my payment via mail and had a deadline for the 27th and the day she called is the 26th.I was never provided a forwarding mail address to send a payment in the first place!! I have  been in touch with the bradford exchange and they had acknowledged that they had put forth my account to 2 different collection agencies. One I have received formal letters from requesting payment and clearly stating the client they represent and the amount and that I could forward payment to themselves or be in contact with the client. The other however, is another story. The bradford exchange had provided me with a name of "Inter Canada Credit" and a phone number of 1-888-738-7277. When I tried to call this so called reputable collections company I was connected with a REWARDS CENTER????? I tried the # again and the same thing. I then contacted the bradford exchange once again to confirm the # and it was in fact the one they had listed. The only other information they could give me was an email address and a mailing address of

During my conversation with the rep from the bradford exchange I was assured that I could always make payment with them, which was stated by Michelle that I could not. I then went online to look up this "Inter Canada Credit" and saw this plain website that my 10 year old could manufacture with that same 800 number. As I read through some of there pages I found this and I quote
"There is no such thing as a mailing queue in our office. Every single file will receive attention from a recovery officer, and every debtor will be contacted by telephone if they can be located.We believe letters and written notice should supplement our staff, not the opposite." Which could potentially explain why no previous correspondance and the direct call from her.So I went to the pages of paying my debt and the payment requests were by credit card and western union, or a money order could be sent to an address similar to that the bradford exchange company had provided but with a slightly different postal code.????????hmmmm. Still having my hackles up I have phoned and paid the Bradford Exchange directly and I am not sure what to make of this "michelle" if she is the real thing or not and how the Stephen Walters law office and Inter Canada Credit are potentially linked.I do however know that should she contact me again she will be in for a very rude and abrupt fouled language conversation.

Claude Nourian is now calling form that office the thing Premeir Fitness buts it clients through.

OMG. This is total crap. I have never heard this gym or anything else anyone has posted on here about why they would call a person. I called the local police to let them know about so they can make the public aware of this scam. I live in Alberta and have no gym membership or ever had one. I am glad I googled the law office's name and I found this site. I will NOT be calling this Michelle back.

I just recieved two messeges from michelle and i have no idea what it is regaurding... but she is calling a company i worked for 4 years ago!!! who tha hell are these people!

I am working on this.. Orangeville Ontario I believe is the root of this mess. I will keep you posted !

Is feeling really suckered in....Any ways the address that the "Michelle Smit" has been giving me is 8 Main St. East. thanks to this site and after reading all the messages. I am now mad and haven't a clue what to do.

I, too, rec'd a phone call from "Michelle Smit" at my WORK...my boss took the message and passed it along to me...Never heard of this woman before then, and she was claiming to represent a Stephen Walters Law Office. NOT once had she contacted my house, nor had left a voicemail message on our phone. She never gave any other info besides her name, phone # and the so-called company name. When I got home, I phoned the number, and got her voicemail at "her" desk. I left a message, and have NOT rec'd a return call from her yet...I also did my search on google of the info she left on her message with my boss...and it brought me right to this site...very interesting I must say. Now, when she does return my call, I will be ready for her "antics"...bring it on Michelle...this B*tch is waiting for you!

The lady calling you already has your information. It is passed on to her from the information you have given  out yourself.
When you fill a gym membership etc. She is getting $50 for every collection.  
Do not pay her!
I found out this company has been charge by a gov agency $ 100,000 for fraud on the past few years!

Has any one ever delt with or had issues with MDG computers? been getting calls for the 905-296-3647 # geuss who Michelle Smit I have been arguing with MDG for months they say 1600$ I say 1000$ MDG needs to be audited and investigated!

Do not pay. They will send you steve Walters letters. Still do not pay. Total scam!

Google mdg scam and you will find hundreds of people like yourself that have been taken.

My husband got a call from her today.  We live in Nova Scotia.  She just left a message on our answering machine saying she was from Steven Walters Law firm.  Well aparently there's no such law firm and then I found this.  Am I ever glad this is here.  She is not getting one dime of our money!  I suspected this was a scam of some type.  I hope she calls back and I get to take the call.  I'm a paralegal and if she threatens to sue me she had better be able to list all the steps, documents and process it takes to actually sue somebody.

I have a feeling she doesn't know these things and I will be more than happy to call her out on her CRAP!  She is messing with the wrong people here!
