This b@tch has been calling me for the last couple of months for an acct that I PAID OFF back in july for MDG computers. I was told by MDG computers that I had made my last payment and that I owed them no more money. Apparently I now owe them a $300 buy out fee and this is what she is harrasing me about. I find it funny that nothing was mentioned when I specifically asked "So I owe you no more money?" and it took them 6 months to want it, I recieved nothing in the mail, no notice no anything just this [***] calling me with her oh so intimidating voice LMAO.....she is messing with the wrong [***] because I dont take [***] from no one especially over the phone. I would like to see her come knock on my door and use the same tone.

I got 2 phone calls from this number. The first I was on the phone and didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer. The 2nd I let my answering machine pick up. I could barely understood the names the caller used. I knew it was some sort of law office and it said regarding a ministry of healthy claim.
I have no clue what that could be?
However, I saw one person mention that this firm collects for various hospitals. I do have an outstanding debt with a hospital from Feb 2010 when my son was born and I got a private room. Intended to pay but just have not. However I will not be returning that call, will just just contact the hospital.

I too was told to call this company in regards to an account that I have with MDG computers. A company whose accounts department still takes money from my bank account I might add. good to know that they are just trying to get double payments out of me, cause I most certainly do not plan on paying for this p.o.s. twice! think I may have to make a complaint to the better business bureau...again...

hey this is paula again...so i sent in another complaint about mdg computers to the BBB in south ontario, and listed this site to check for complaints about stephen walters. for those of you who don't know, any company that gets a complaint filed against them only has so long to respond and then they are blacklisted by the BBB. so go on the BBB site and check to see if the company you have issues with is there...

Hi people my wife Rose got a call from Michelle claiming that she has a claim with no info attach to it . So I google the company and got this so I read it than got my wife to look  at this site. Then she phone the police here and they said not to answer the calls at all. for the person that is a member of that gym do u have an update on this  we would like to know please. Wow i hope each person  lays claim against her and her co=workers along with this so called firm. I told rose when we find out more we r perusing this further if needed.

This Michelle girl called my work, not for me for my boss saying she could not disclose any info to any one other then my boss, i told her that she would not get a call back unless she left her name number and a email so that my boss could contact her on her own time. Michelle wasnt happy that she could not get a hold of her so she persistanly called everyday for weeks and everytime i asked if you tell me what this is about i will be able to relate the message other then that sorry. So she told me her office name and who she was and i told her that she would get a call back if my boss decided on doing so, she demanded that my boss has to call her back. I realated the msg,  my boss then told me that she wouldnt call back unless the girl told me specifically what this was about and i called "Michelle Smit" back and told her sorry lori will not being calling you back, she needs to know the details of your call, she then told me if my boss was in the office that she speak with her right now demanding it, i hung up on her. I then googled the office and her name because i was going to call and complain about harrasment from this women, i then come upon these posts i call Michelle back and tell her if she calls this office one more time we will be going to our company lawyer and taking legal action against her, she then pleaded with me that she has a client that hired her to get a fee payed that is going to collections which was BRADFORD EXCHANGE and the amount was $122.something cent (I havent seen anyone with that on here yet, must be her new company she is using) So i told her if my boss really does owe money then please send a formal invoice via mail or email and we would be glad to pay it once we see what we are paying. (cuz i thought if is a collections agency people were probably just mad about paying and writing bad things) so she sends me an email saying an item number and name of something calm/bold, telling me to write a cheque out to stephen walters or a money order there was no attachment, so i waited for an attachment for an invoice couple days pass no invoice but an email from her saying that she hasnt heard back from me and i have untill the 29th to respond or the payment is going to collections, i emailed back saying i am waiting for an invoice to give to my boss so she can confirm what she is paying for is something she really bought, michelle emailed me back saying that we would have to calll bradford exchange and get the invoice then she gave me this number 1-800-265-1027 i called and just beeps, i then go to the website so see if the number she gave me was correct and i see that the only way to contact them is by email, no phone number anywhere you cannot contact them via phone. So im so tired of this stupid [***] [***] i look up the item number see that nothing comes up  and i finally email her and tell her That she is a complete scam and her office is shady i reversed looked up her phone number, nothing came up. I told her that she was horrible at this and if she actually wants people to believe her go about it a different way, you say your a law firm then your a collections agency, she chick is straight out of it she emailed me back saying she doesnt want to argue and entertain me with emails and that i know have untill August 31st to pay i emailed back, i contacted authority's, fowarded all your msgs, gave them your phone number and told them the three names you use(Michelle, Claude, Rosanne)  what  you do is fraud, and you will be getting what you deserve. since then no msg back from her or call, this [***] is a stupid scammer that think people believe her, she is completely [***] about going the way she does about this. Im done with this girl and if she msgs me or calls me again im sure her "Intimdating voice" wont be so intimidating anymore.

The number that is listed is a cell number, i phone my phone provider and that is what they told me, y would she use a cell number to collect money when it is office hours. Not impressed as i stated we did call the police and they suggested not to cal her. my wife is doing the same thing that another sugested to do get an invoice of wt is oweing but so far no go,, then she phones my wife this moring saying that my wife had made a claim about someone . wow now a reverse.

I recieved a message from 905-296-3537 this afternoon....I am in Newfoundland....The lady said she was calling from Steven Walters law office...She said her name was ROSANNE..not Michelle this time..She gave to indication as to what the call was comcerning...I have never dealt with a law office in my life...freaked me out just a little

My ex-mother in law got three calls from this "law firm" for me saying it was in regards to and "extreme health claim" . I owe nobody nothing and have no idea what they are talking about. Her first name was Ann @ the phone number 905-296-3537. I googled Steve Walters Law office in Hamilton, and there is no such office. I'm grateful for this site and all information. Just thought I would add my story. I will be reporting them to the Government and Law Society as suggested. I also phoned them and told them the same if the calls don't stop. Let's see where that goes. Thanks all, for ur stories and info. I don't understand how these people sleep at night. :)

This lawyers office keeps calling without leaving any details except to call a phone number.  I'm tired of them calling and due to such a high call volume of unsolicited phone calls, I can't block anymore numbers.  I'm exhasperated and beyond words at this point.  Any bills I have come through the mail.  I don't have outstanding bills as I pay my bills.  Please stop calling me.

michelle smit is scam dont let her intimidate you she called about a debt of mdg computers that have been paid 5 years ago, she said she talked to me last year and i never had any conversations about any settlements she will take any penny from you if you agree on any amounts thats why she accepts only money orders or cred payments. a real collection agency would have a registered account number where you would be able to pay vi mos major financial institutions in canada, one thing i can not understand how come i have seen thousand and thousand of comments about her and steven walters but i havent found one single comment to say that they have paid them off and that the file was closed, does that really exist? I dont think so.. again dont believe at her bullsh*it

these people called my 77 year old mother claimimg that this wa the only contact numder they had for me. funny thing is both my mother and i have the same first and last initials, so um makes me wonder. plus anyone who has half a brain can find me easily. these ppl need to stop herassing inocent ppl. if they keep bothering my mother and trying to get info about me from her it'll be the last thing they do here on earth. ppl like this really frost my pickles in a big way, hope one day soon the tables get turned on them and they get their come uppings.

I'd been receiving phone calls from Michelle of Steven Walters Law firm and had told me that she will pursue the claim in court as this is in regards to the account that I had since 2007 or 2008.The amount that she told me was absurd with the 28 % interest of what she said my balance were.She gave me the address of Steven Walters Office as Suite 07 -8th Main St. East Hamilton,ON. L8N 1E8.
I don't know what I should do pls. help!!

if anyone is having problems with this michelle from steven  walters law firm. she has be contacting me constantly about a debt from mdg computers. it has gotten to the point where she has contacted me so much by phone, i had to tell her to contact me via mail only . she completly ignored my request to do so. I contacted consumer protection agency about her and what she has done. the lady checked into the name of the law firm and they arent even a liscensed collection agency
so if anyone is having any other problems with this michelle that works for this law firm/ collection agency just give consumer protection a call and put a complaint in and they will take the neccesary steps for this company
