Got a few calls from a Mr.David. Same M.O. as everyone else. There is no Business listing for "Law Office" anywhere I looked on the Internet. Lawyers use their names as part of the firms name as a rule. They are nasty though as per their messages left on my machine. They scared my 80 year old Mum! They did not get her number from me EITHER. Watch out! I'm calling phonebusters in the morning.

this idiot called my dead mother 2 days ago trying to get a hold of me he is a moron i found out this guy ( Mr Klassen ) is a fraud do not give him anything the debt will not get paid and you will be out the money for it.he is asking for $ 1200 more than the debt is. he is so stupid he does not know my phone number that has not changed.

Received a call from Mr. klassen today in regards to a pay day loan was advised I had 48 hrs to pay the loan for 710.oo or i would be charged with fraud and taken to court,also stated that I would be arrested and my work place on one count of fraud. I was so worried took the afternoon off made some calls, was tols to call the canadian credit repair association which I did, a wonderful lady there told me that this happens all the  time and that they are just collectors not hired by anyone but if they can collect they take a fee and send the rest to whomever you owe. Was told to report to my local police at once.

I just listened to my messages and also had received a call from Mr. Hazel from the lawyer's office of Paul Cooperstein and associates regarding an urgent legal matter filed in their office.  After racking my brains I could not imagine what this could be about.  It almost ruined my weekend.....until I thought I should check the name online.   Thanks for all your comments.  I will forward this to the local authorities.

this mr davud tried getting ahold of my wife   and i answered his call and asked him to reveal himself and all he said was that she is being sued   and then i had told him to contact my trustteee and he said he wasnt going to then i told him to not call my house anymore  and he said he will call everyday     and thne i told him that i am reporting him to consumer affiars and he hung up  this guy is  ajoke   and my trustee adivesed me that  i shouldnt  worry  about him at all   so my adive to those who recieve his call tell him to shove it up his ___

A mr. david called my mother's house and left a number and case file number for me to return a call to a law office immediately. So I did. He informed me that i was being sued for over three thousand dollars for an outstanding bill from a phone company. I freaked, i never recieved any bills so i contacted the phone company and they could find no records of this claim. The lawyer said everything had been sent to my mothers address but nothing ever had. My mother then called the law office back and explained this to them and mr. david hung up. Really something needs to be done about this mr. david.

my daughter received a call from Mr. David concerning an outstanding bill from bell canada.  Apparently the bill was supposed to have been delivered to my address.  she lives an hour away.  why would i get a bill for her at my house?  I was called a liar when I told him that I never received the bills here.  Very rude person.  that would be a federal offence to throw out mail or destroy it.  She also called Bell Canada to check it out and they have no record of it.  I guess they tried to pull another scam.  Business must be slow, they have to make up bills.  What I would like to know how they got some very personal information.  This information would not have been needed to have a phone put in.

i also got a call from this guy & he called my siter's place saying i was going to be charged with fraud.,..does anybody know how to stop this guy?..what should i do..he needs to be reported or something,..this is destroying my life,..help!!!!!

I received a call from a Mr. Hazel from a Paul Superstein's law office for my  brother whose first name starts with the same initial as mine.  My brother has been out of the country for many years but called the number ... same story about paying over $1000. for an account he knows nothing about for he will be sued and have to pay court costs as well.  Sounds like a scam.

said it was a law office regarding legal proceeding to be file the following morning ( Aug 26) did not have the correct amount for the bill they are trying to collect...then said if it was not paid today it would cost upwards of $4000 through the court system.
They would be willing to hold off if I thought I could borrow the money this evening to pay them. It was 7:30pm when I received the call...explained it was unlikely I could come up with the money that quickley...the woman then said they would proceed with fraud charges.

Received a call last night telling me that if i didnt pay 300 dollars to this so called law office that i would be charged with fraud, and that it would cost in the range of 2000$....FYI to anyone who gets these phone calls, tell the man that he is not registered witht the Law Society of Upper Canada and that in Canada it is a crime punishable by jail time to inpersonate a lawyer! As well that court cost are usually about 17% of your debt, and the court filing fees which is about 150$!!!! As well notify him that your phone call is being traced and that the RCMP has been notified and that this scam isint fooling anyone!!! Then call your local RCMP to notify them of this scam!!! you have rights!!! Dont let these con artists intimidate you!!!

i to just today received a call that we owed bell canada $371 saying they were trying to contact  me telling me if we didnt pay it by noon tomorrow we will be going to court for $2000 and they also said that if we didnt pay they would go through our phone company now and have our phones disconnected we arnt even with bell if they wanted us so bad why call us today after 2 half yrs , telling us he was a lawyer but i found out from a friend of mine that they are not a law office , they really had us scared now i feel better after reading these comments but i also will be reporting this

They called my elderly father looking for me and asking questions. He said he would take their number and when he went to get a pen they hung up! Then some guy called and left a message on my dad's phone for him to call "The Law Office". My dad was very upset and called back. The man told him it was about me and that I was going to be charged with fraud. This is outrageoous!! I am going to call Phonebusters! They are supposed to send you something in writing before they can collect and I have received nothing in the mail from these people. They called my home and hung up!!!! Where are the laws that are supposed to prohibit these people from doing these things! And according to collection laws they are only allowed to contact your friends/family ONCE to try to find out your current number etc not to intimidate them. They called my dad three times!

Has anyone ever received ANYTHING in writing from these people???

Received a call from this idiot today. Claims to be a lawyer and says its
urgent and I need to call him back right away and gave some file number.
I am going to call my cell phone provider and take the message to the Police
Dept. It will be a frosty day in hell when I return this jerks call.

Reported this number to Phonebusters today for the harassing calls my dad received. I was told by the rep that the "charging with fraud" was nonsense and that the police would do that as its a criminal offense. Also that if someone commits fraud there are charged as soon as its discovered they did it. They have no business saying that to people.Its for sheer intimidation and those of us on here are not going to be intimidated. We are not criminals and we have done nothing wrong. Nobody deserves to be subjected to this kind of harassment. We have to fight back against these idiots!!!




These people obviously think they are smarter than everyone else but they need a reality check.

I got a call from mr. seargeant ext 239 saying that we have a lawsuit filed against us from the cash store. Thanks for this website

What a scamer, called me at work and on my cell, receptionist thought it was work related. Calls himself Mr. Klassen @ the law firm says i owe $2300. going to court and will be arrested for fraud at work, what a joke! I don't owe anybody money. Can't wait till he calls me again, i will tell him that i have the money for him and where can we meet! will bring a plain clothes cop if he agrees... hope i catch him.

I have been reading everyones comments and this is not a fraudulent company, it is for reals. I find it funny that people that do not pay their debts like to find any excuse to make someone else look at fault.
By the time a file goes to this office to be collected on, they have not been paid for a long time. Why don't people just take responsibility for their outstanding debts and pay the accounts, because you have nobody to blame but yourselves.
Any disbelief, just wait and see.
