Come on people.  This is Verizon Wireless.  They have several numbers from which they can call from.  The only time you will receive a call from this number is because of a Verizon Wireless bill.  Pay your bills.

I just received a call from this number, which left a voicemail.  Seems to be a computer.  Just stated, "I'm trying to connect".

called. no noise. nothing. hung up.

T have received as many as 5 calls in an hour from this number.  I do not have verizon as my carrier and my bills are paid.  Who are these people?  Sometimes I answer and put them on speaker phone.  I do not say anything and usually neither do they.  Occaisionally someone will say "hello...Hello....Hello... and then they eventulay hang up.  I figure if they are going to continually call me, they might as well pay for the long distance call.

i just got a call from this number. they have called 10 times in the last 4 days. on my caller id, it says verizon wireless. they gave me a number to call to pay my bill. they told me to call 1800 754 0961. i have found other forums thaat question the legitimacy of the 800 number.

I received a call from 949-286-3311. This is LEGIT phone number. It's from Verizon Wireless/ Finance Dept. It's an automated service that is letting you know your account is PAST Due. They refer you to another number to call them to speak to an operator.

they left a message saying that I needed to call regarding my Verizon Wireless account.  I have Cingular! scam scam scam

It's verizon wireless calling when you're late with a payment. It's not a scam.

My daughter just got a call on her cell phone from this number asking for my dad...who has been dead 14 years.  What the hell????

This number has called me too! today! I THINK IT'S wise not to leave any info here about yourself as the caller may know of this page and look at it to see what's being said and from who!!

I was behind on my cell phone with Verizon, they did call me from this # requesting payment? I did tell him I will pay in 2 days when I get paid. He did not ask for any info. he said he will make a note on my acct. and that will prevent any interruption in my service. I'am ok with that. Its a legitimate verizon wireless #.

In many cases companies manage their employees by tracking the number of calls they make.  Furthermore, the calls are usually not counted unless there is a 'live' line for a certain number of seconds.  If this is not a scam this could be the other alternative; that is it is one or multiple employees from this office (possibly Verizon) increasing their call numbers without having to really talk to anyone.

Im switching to another carrier....Verizon wont do ANYTHING about the massive amounts of calls I receive on my cell phone from call center theives.

I just got a call from 949-286-3311 and they did leave a message, it was a Verizon Wireless Equipment Upgrade automated message.

I got a call from that number and they told me that I owed $117.39 to Verizon and they wanted to know if I wanted to pay by either credit card or check.  I told them they were a scammer and hung up.  Then, I got a call from a 949-453-8129 and didn't answer.  They didn't leave a voice mail, so I'm guessing that I called the scammer on their own game!  I'm calling VerizonWireless to tell them what is going on as well!

Wife and daughter keep getting these calls but dont answer because Ive tought them well, what scares me is my yungest daughter, she doesnt stop to think very well and Verizone will not block the number, at least she has no private information to give out. I think everyone should write Verizon about it and then maybe they will do something about it. Good luck

I'm on Sprint and I just got a call from this number...yeah, I didn't answer, but may call them back just to see if they say they're from Verizon.

its Verizon Wireless.. I called it back.. typed in my cell # and it told me what I had due and that I just made a payment..

I get the same calls from the same number. If I pick up, they don't say anything. If I ignore it, they never leave a message.

This number called me yesterday and said to call them regarding my verizon account.  I do not have verizon.  Today they called twice and left no  messages, I was not at home.  This is annoying because I only answer calls from people I know or numbers I recognize.

This is bordering on harassment at this time.
