I got two calls from this person and they leave a voicemail everytime but I can't listen to it because my voicemail won't accept my inbox passcode.
I would totally tell you guys what the voicemail sounds like if only I could though.

Got a call on my cel, yet didn't answer in time. No message left.

I've gotten two calls from this # today - I see that the other comments were in 2007 - so two years later here's another posting about the phone calls that don't have anyone speaking on the other line.  I tried calling it back but it was busy.  How annoying!

I work for a buisness and we constantly get calls from this number, about once a day, for weeks and weeks now and to date I have never heard it say anything.  I usually sit and listen till it hangs up because I'm bored, and still nothing.  Who the hell knows?

I just got two calls from this number, both times no one on the other end. I called back and got "Verizon Wireless Financial Services". I'm not the primary on the account and I think it is late in payment, but calling twice and not speaking is absurd and borders on harassment.

I've been getting calls for this number, multiple times over the past 2+ weeks, at various times of the day.
I never pick up. The past few times I've been getting voicemails immediately afterwards...but it's just been some automated voice that begins playing and this is the only thing recorded in the voicemail. The only thing I get is "I'm trying to connect..." I tried a reverse look up and supposedly it's now a landline in Irvine.  God I hate Irvine.

Just got a call from this number. Reverse lookup says  its a land line in Irvine CA.

got three calls in a row with silence on the other side of the line. Called back. . Claims to be verizon financial services. Sounds very real. I for some reason found it funny because i have never seen this number. I called verizon and they said its not their number and they would report it. I then did a search and this number is not listed. Total fraud to get your identity. Do not give your information out. Im going to call the police department to see where i can report this. I believe its the department of justice. . Not sure.

This number called me a few days ago 2 times right in a row. If it is not a number I recognize I generally let it go to voice mail but no message was left. Everyone should be very leary of this number. It seems very suspicious.

Okay... you all are starting to freak me out! I've gotten a call on my cell phone a couple times, but never answered. Today they called, and I didn't answer, so they called my home number. They said I had a balance on my account, which is true. My debit card number was changed, and I never changed it online so my bill was past due. I paid it on there, and it took it out of my account and sent me a confirmation email like always.

So....... it's gotta be real, right? :\

I got a call from 949-286-3111 and it was verizon wireless regarding my account it is not a sales call so it's ok to answer

This is verizon wireless calling, probly about a bill. I just got a call on my cell when I answered nobody was there. SO I just called the number back from a land line and it said welcome to Verizon Wireless. SO if you get this call, might need to check your bill, found out mine was past due... OOPS!

Reason non- Verizon users are getting calls from this number is because your number was provided by the customer owing Verizon $$$ as a contact number.

Which means the customer either lied, a typo was made on the customer info file or the number is old and has been reissued to lucky you!.

It's Verizon Financial Services.  They've been aggressively calling me too via an auto-dialer, that is the reason some people here white noise in the background before the Verizon agent is connected upon your answering the call.  Not sure why Verizon Financial Services does not leave a courtesy message.

IMHO - Verizon SUCKS ars...planning to give AT&T and the iPhone a try as soon as my contract is up in July.

got this call on my Verizon cell ... I did not pick up...went to voice mail...strange, loud, male voice said "I AM TRYING TO CONNECT!"

It kept calling me so I called it.  It was verizon payment services, it asked for last 4 of my SS#. I tried to fool it and use false 4 and it didnt work so I retried with the correct four and then it gave me my correct billing amount due.  It also knew my last payment date and due date, seems legit to me.. I still wouldnt make a payment through a unknown phone number just to be safe. Use a secure method.

Got a call from them, I'm not from CA just dead air....?

I just got a call, didn't answer. when I listened to the message there were voices whispering is spanish. does this sound like verizon to you? usally they leave me a message or text me when I am late on my bill. they have never left me messages of spanish speakers whispering....I think I heard telenovelas is the background. Or was it an Nigerean soap opera?

I got a Call from this # i did not answer it.i did get a message that read "waiting to conect" then it ended
