    Rang 0800 7830951 and requested that the calls stop. I do have a policy with Homeserve but said I would be cancelling if the calls did not stop (which I definitely will do. The man seemed helpful and I was told that I have been removed from the list......we will see.

    The telephone rang I did not reach it in time to answer, i have caller id so when i did not recongise the number i put it in a search engin and came up with this site.

    I keep getting calls from  01922 420057 - - they do not leave a message and I do not want these calls.  I have caller display and I never answer if the number is WITHELD or if I do not know the  number calling.

    Listen now and listen good. Do not just ignore the call because you recognise it as Homeserve. Anser it and speak to them. Yes it may be annoying if there is no-one there but when you do get somebody tell them that you would like to log an official complaint and you would like a response in writing. Reasons for this,
    1 - If you ask for a response then they have to action your request as you want written proof from a complaints dept if they have one so the person you speak to will have put the request through and not just say they have done it when they have not.
    2 - If they operate like regulated insurance companies should then as soon as you tell them you wish to log a complaint then they cannot by law attempt to sell you further insurance on that call. So you do not have to worry about them trying to keep you on the phone to sell you something.

    Rang 0800 7830951 and asked them firmly to stop ringing my home number. Didn't give any info apart from telephone number. lets see if it works. If not then I'll do the above.

    I have had this for the first time, glad I googled it now.  They asked for a Mr Hancock, I said he doensn't live here and they said "Sorry, bye" and hung up!
    Saved me doing it on them I suppose!

    hi whilst i searched about this number, as its calling me 5/6 times a day i found this site where it logs reports against it. at the moment theres only 2 reports so get in there and report it.

    Same as the others - they've called me every day this week.  I'm a current Homeserve customer with one policy, but they're trying to push a multi-cover home emergency cover policy at the moment (only know his as they've sent info through the post).  Obviously they're desperate to speak to me about it in an attempt to sell the product.

    This call number was on my elderly parents phone today - we have relatives in the Birmingham/Walsall area so she thought something had happened to them - quite distressing.  More so because we actually live in the North East of England.

    Ihave been called by homeserve 3 times a day since beginning of the year. One call woke my children up it was so late...as an ex Police officer God help them if I actually connect with them! Just had another call now. I didn't get to phone in time but I certainly will next time and threaten them will legal action if they persist. BT are absolutely useless!

    This is Homeserve's automatic dialing system. The water companies pass Homeserve a list which they use to make automated calls to sell insurance. To stop these calls go to http://www.homeserve.com/contact and enter your postcode. You will be taken to a page that lists 0800 numbers to call. Ring the number for Complaints (Cover)- bottom right - and, after going through a slightly irritating auto-answering process, you will be passed to an advisor. Simply state you are complainig about unsolicited calls and your number will be removed from their list. They are legally obliged to honour your request. If you still have problems then go to http://www.tpsonline.org.uk/tps/  This is the Telephone Preference Service through whom you can register to stop unsolicited calls (if you haven't already done so), or complain if you still get them after registering.

    I have been called by this number about 6/ 8 times this week, when I answer no-one will speak to me.. didn't try to ring them back as I did not know who was calling me and you need to be careful with all the scams that go on. This is a great website, and thanks to all the advice on here. Will certainly be using it again, and will be emailing Homeserve right away to try and get them to stop.

    Lets bite back.I have had six calls today alone.
    All of you, call 0800 073 3111. The automation system works on voice activation. If you don't say anything it will push to the call centre. This will take around 1 minute costing homeserve around 4-8p. When an operator responds dont say anything let them hang as long as you can. Maybe play along and say someone is at your door can you hang on. If we do this in our thousands we will get the message across.
    I ask anyone who know this crowd (The Management team) (Typical x public company with too many chiefs taking a lot of money for doing bugger all) please find their mobile and home numbers and publish them. Lets start calling them.

    Received a call from this number. Ours is a personal preference line and so the caller is acting outside the code of conduct.  These calls seem to be around mid afternoon, twice this week. Most annoying
